Indiana Holstein Association RALLIES FOR ANNUAL MEETING

The Indiana Holstein Association met on January 21 in Noblesville, Indiana to conduct the business of the association and celebrate their award winners. The Indiana Holstein Princess contest was held and Faith Lortie of Kimmell, Indiana was crowned and will promote Indiana Holsteins in 2023. During the meeting, elections were held and they announced the Indiana State Show to be held in Columbia City, June 8-10, 2023. Morgan Stone, a student at Purdue University was awarded the Junior Holstein Scholarship.

The Jersey Cow of the Century winner was announced as a tie between Thistle Dew Regal Glitz owned by Thistle Dew Dairy and Peninsula Kaught Mallory owned by Brenhaven Jerseys. The Reserve Jersey Cow of the Century was Cloverfield Edwin Mabel also owned by Brenhaven Jerseys.

The Holstein Cow of the Decade was Starward Atwood Holly ET owned by Starward Farms and the Reserve Holstein Cow of the Decade was Kingstreet GC Attitude RC owned by Thistle Dew Dairy.
