Leaders of the Month of April
Fourth Grade Leaders
Karter Jackson- Karter is as classy as Jack from Titanic! They kind of look alike, too. He is genuinely a nice kid and is enjoyed by all. Alos, this guy is all about sports. All kinds of sports. And he knows tons of facts about them, too! In writing, he has researched about LeBron James and could probably tell you just about anything you could ever want to know. You’re one cool dude, Karter!

Taylor Henderson- Taylor. Taylor. Taylor. Each and everyday you say or do something to make us smile. Your personality is second to none and we LOVE all of the hilarious stories you tell. You somehow find a way to make each story unique and entertaining for us. We feel extremely lucky to have you in our classroom family, Tay. Love ya, bud!
Brycen Curtis- Brycen has grown leaps and bounds this year as a student. We could not be more impressed with him right now. He has set his mind on being advanced on his ELA ISAT and there is no doubt in my mind that it will happen because he is an absolute and total goal crusher. Go, Brycen!
Hayden Ludiker- Hayden has this amazing leader inside! This great potential. This bright light. This powerful awesomeness. He is getting so much better at channeling this strength he has and we can’t wait to see how amazing this great guy becomes. We love you, Hayden!
Jasiah Lloyd- Although Jasiah is new to Orchards this year, she fits like a glove. She works hard and isn’t afraid to have a little fun. She tries her best and has already grown so much since she has been here. She is just a super cool, awesome kiddo! We love you, Jasiah!
Fifth Grade Leaders
Baylee Jeffrey- Baylee is a very talented student. When she focuses on her work, Baylee performs at a very high level. She is very sweet and enjoys doing things for others. Baylee works hard to create positive relationships with her peers.
Linken Squires- Linken is one of our favorites at Orchards. He has a big heart and has done some of the kindest things for students and staff here at Orchards. Linken loves Math and is very talented when it comes to problem solving. We have been fortunate to have Linken at Orchards and the staff here will extremely miss him when he goes on to middle school.
Jessie Pearson- Jessie has done a great job in class this year. She is a very hard worker and takes pride in her work. She has gained a lot of confidence in her abilities when it comes to Math. We’re very impressed with her ability to multiply whole numbers using standard algorithm.
Luke Peer-Luke is silly and smart. He is a great observer and has a valuable opinion and voice — I love it when he participates in class! My favorite time with him is when he is proud of his hard work because his face lights up and she shows his sweet grin. He has especially been showing that during writing time these last few months and he has earned it — he is rocking his literacy skills! Keep working hard, Luke! Your growth mindset is the best!
Baylie Hamilton-I don’t think you can get a sweeter student than Baylie. Not only is she so extremely kind, she is funny and hardworking. Baylie has been growing so much in her confidence as a learner and is actively participating in class every day; her voice is valuable and I absolutely love hearing her ideas. She is a stellar writer and is not afraid to revise or rewrite — SO awesome! Baylie, you are doing great things, keep it up!
Madelyn Ludiker- Maddy is a strong leader with a powerful voice. She has learned to find a balance between using her voice to advocate for others while also showing listening skills to her teachers and classmates. It is such an important skill to be a confident learner and Maddy is refining this already at such a young age! Maddy is zooming in her academic goals and is working hard to get it done. Maddy’s heart is her compass and I am proud of the direction she is steering herself before heading off to middle school. Keep up the great work, Maddy!
