What might have happened? •It was hijacked •pilot committed suicide •Plane fire • A catastrophic event killed passengers and crew, subsequently causing the plane to crash.
•So technically nobody know what exactly what happened to it......In other words It has disappeared

Why is this significant •People are so close yet so far in this search. Now instead of “trying to find a needle in a haystack” they still need to locate the haystack And it makes people think Malaysia and officials don’t do that well
•Planes don’t just disappear out of thin air every day •This is a rare occurrence

Perspectives/ Interpretations “Hostage situation” This note was posted on facebook and when iphones post data that people can get into that include the latitude and then longitude of the place sent and there was a picture of a black room and a note along with it “ I have been held hostage by unknown military personnel after my flight was hijacked…I work for IBM and I have managed to hide my cellphone… I have been separated from the rest of the passengers and I am in a cell. My name is Philip Wood. I think I have been drugged as well and cannot think clearly”

Other perspectives “Fire on plane” “There are two types of fires. An electrical fire might not be as fast and furious, and there may or may not be incapacitating smoke. However there is the possibility, given the timeline, that there was an overheat on one of the front landing gear tires, it blew on takeoff and started slowly burning. Yes, this happens with under inflated tires. Remember: Heavy plane, hot night, sea level, long-run takeoff. There was a well known flight that had a landing gear fire on takeoff. Once going, a tire fire would produce horrific, incapacitating smoke. Yes, pilots have access to oxygen masks, but this is a no-no with fire.” Wednesday, 7 May, 14
Strange theories... There are a lot of other theories that are strange like: • Asian bermuda triangle • Secret military weapon with abilities to suck planes out of the air without a trace • Military shooting accident • The phones have been ringing for 4 days so when a phone cant find the other phone the call terminates so they could be on
