It's with great pride that I announce our 9th birthday this month. (Yes we celebrate every birthday!) We couldn't have reached this milestone without the support of our staff, loyal clients and readers- especially those of you who've been with us since the beginning. I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking this year has flown by. Christmas is almost upon us and I urge you all to eat, drink and be merry. In amidst all the good times please spare a moment or two to give back to those in our community who are without. South Africa has one of the highest wealth disparities in the world. I'm not trying to present a solution (by any means) but sometimes a little goes a long way- especially if we're all giving a little. The annual 'Magic of Bubbles' Franschhoek Cap Classique and Champagne Festival sees winemakers presenting some of South Africa's finest MĂŠthode Cap Classiques (MCC) and France's best Champagnes. The annual Wavescape Surf Film Festival returns, showcasing a range of films that promote marine conservation.
