Experience: Section C-4B, Order of the Arrow: Vice-Chief (May 14, 2016 - present) As the Section Vice-Chief I am second in charge of the OA in South-East Ohio and West Virginia. I assist the Chief in planning the annual Section Conclave, a rendezvous of the 5 Lodges in the Section, and encourage communication between the Lodges. Tecumseh Lodge 65, Order of the Arrow: Chief (Jan 1, 2016 - present), and Vice-Chief of Chapters (Jan 1, 2015 - December 31, 2015) As the Lodge Chief I am in charge in Central and South-Central Ohio. I plan and implementing the Lodge’s vision, represent the Lodge in both the Section and the Council, oversee my Vice-Chiefs, and implement a successful training program for members. As Chief I am changeing the mentality of the Lodge Leadership away from a contentedness with the status quo and towards a mindset of practive improvement. As the Lodge Vice-Chief of Chapters I maintained contact with and supervised the 11 Chapters in the Lodge, ensured that they conducted elections, and implemented a Quality Chapter program to reward Chapters who improve their performance. Kaniengehaga Chapter, Order of the Arrow: Chief (Jan 19, 2014 - Jan 18, 2015) and Vice-Chief of Troops (Nov 24, 2012 - Jan 18, 2014) As the Chapter Chief I planned and implemented the Chapter’s vision, represented the Chapter in the Lodge, oversaw my Vice-Chiefs, ran two Chapter meetings every month, and successfully brought my chapter back into the Lodge after several years of pointless de facto independence. As the Vice-Chief of Troops I maintained contact with and scheduled elections with all the Boy Scout Troops in Licking County. Granville High School Club Ultimate Team: Founder/Captain (Oct. 2014 - May 2015) Newark-Granville Youth Symphony Orchestra: Principle Second Violin (Sept 2013 - May 2014)

Film Institute: Precedent Analysis Architectural Class Work

Our semester long project to start second year is to design a film institute from scratch. In working on this project we were to analyze existing precedent. Before beginning, we did precedent studies to get ideas. I researched the Stone Museum by Tango Kuma and Associates. Film Institute: Final Model Architectural Class Work

Our semester long project to start second year is to design a film institute from scratch. To make the final model, I made all the pieces in AutoCad, having already made them in Revit, laser cut them, and then assembled them. Insertion Project Architectural Class Work

The assignment for this project was to add a component to the existing Alms portion of the DAAP building. I added a large skylight to the top of the North-West stairwell in an effort invigorate the stairwell and encourage it’s use. The large open windows maximize the amount of natural light entering the stairwell. Project Information: Class: Design Lab II Date: Spring 2016 Professor: Vincent Sansalone

Preliminary Massing Studies Architectural Class Work

Our semester long project to start second year is to design a film institute from scratch. As it is a semester long project, this project is not yet complete as of this publishing. We were to do a study loosely tied to this project to practice the use of Rhino and introduce us to Grasshopper. Half House Architectural Class Work

We have a semester long project to make the Half House by John Hejduk with variations based off our name and student ID number. The second portion of this project was to produce the site, foundation, and wood beam/floor structure of the building. The purpose of this project is to introduce us to Autodesk Revit. Folly Architectural Class Work

Our final project in the spring was a group project in which we designed an interactive space within an 8 ft cube with limited materials. My role in this project was the exploded axon drawings, fabricating parts in the wood shop, assembling larger components of the final model in studio, and helping to assemble on site. At the end of the project, my group’s folly was one of two selected to be displayed in an exhibition. Project Information: Class: Design Lab II Date: Spring 2016 Professor: Vincent Sansalone

Communication Skills II Sketches

Michelangelo: As a class of over 100 students in Communication Skills II we made Michelangelo’s The Last Judgment out of Charcoal. Each student was given one gridded section of the painting to produce as close to exactly as possible. The entire project is pictured above and my section is pictured below.

Invisible Cities: In Communication Skills II we were to choose a city from Calvino Italo’s Invisible Cities and draw it. I chose Laudomia; a city of three: the city of the dead, the city of the living, and the city of the unborn, all of which are proportional to the number of people in that area. This drawing took over 23 hours to complete.

Analytique: We went to the Cincinnati Museum of Art and were asked to construct an analytique of the building, adding various components into each other in order to effectively summarize the building in a single image. This drawing took over 21 hours to complete.

Daily Sketches Sketches

We were to do one sketch every day over the course of ten weeks, at the end of which we chose our 5 best sketches to be graded. Some sketches were hand drawn and others were made digitally. Here are some of the better hand drawn sketches. Project Information: Class: Communication Skills III Date: Fall 2016 Professor: Ming Tang

Daily Sketches Abstract Projects

We were to do one sketch every day over the course of ten weeks, at the end of which we chose our 5 best sketches to be graded. Some sketches were hand drawn and others were made digitally. Here are some of the better digital sketches. These were usually quick, fun, drawings, although some did hold more meaning than others. 100+1 Abstract Projects

The task was to choose 100 ordinary household objects and bind them together with a single item. I chose toy soldiers and string. The idea was to create an American flag out of these soldiers, who are bound together, to symbolize the idea that our country only exists thanks to the soldiers throughout our history who gave their lives for the United States. The country is, in this case literally, held together by our fallen soldiers. I took the flag with me to Normandy, France, in order to document it in it’s “ideal location,” the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial.
