Lamar University Baseball Field Professional Work
Huitt-Zollars was commissioned to do renovations to their baseball field including a new coaches office/locker room building, a shade over a portion of the stands, and a sort of entry plaza with a bar outside the stadium. I produced all the concept images for this project taking into consideration structural and design recommendations from my supervisor and coworkers. The most recent rendering of the shade is below and the most recent renderings for the entry plaza are to the right. Project Information: Firm: Morris Architects/Huitt-Zollars Date: Spring 2017 Supervisors: Doug Oliver and Chris Manthei

Two versions of the coach’s office and locker rooms were made. The first version is below and the second version is to the right. There was a misunderstanding over the location of the building in relation to the field, necessitating the creation of a second version. Name Change Marketing Images Professional Work
On January 1, 2013 Morris Architects was officially purchased by Huitt-Zollars. On March 1, 2017 Morris: A Huitt-Zollars company officially changed it’s name to Huitt-Zollars and terminated its independent website. As part of the name change I was asked to assist in preparing website mock-ups for the new Huitt-Zollars site and in making posters that were intended to be displayed in the lobby of every office to recognizing the name change. The images on the bottom left are the set of 3 posters, intended to be presented sequentially. The website mock-ups on the right are the 2 basic designs, there were between 4 and 6 variations of each layout. Insertion Project Architectural Class Work
The assignment for this project was to add a component to the existing Alms portion of the DAAP building. I added a large skylight to the top of the North-West stairwell in an effort to invigorate the stairwell and encourage its use. The large open windows maximize the amount of natural light entering the stairwell. Project Information: Class: Design Lab II Date: Spring 2016 Professor: Vincent Sansalone

Folly
Architectural Class Work Our final project in the spring was a group project in which we designed an interactive space within an 8 ft cube with limited materials. My role in this project was the exploded axon drawings, fabricating parts in the wood shop, assembling larger components of the final model in studio, and helping to assemble on site. At the end of the project, my group’s folly was one of two selected to be displayed in an exhibition. Project Information: Class: Design Lab II Date: Spring 2016 Professor: Vincent Sansalone

Communication Skills II Sketches
Project Information: Class: Communication Skills II Date: Spring 2016 Professor: Brian Andrews
Michelangelo: As a class of over 100 students in Communication Skills II we made Michelangelo’s The Last Judgment out of Charcoal. Each student was given one gridded section of the painting to produce as close to exactly as possible. The entire project is pictured below and my section is pictured above.

Invisible Cities: In Communication Skills II we were to choose a city from Calvino Italo’s Invisible Cities and draw it. I chose Laudomia; a city of three: the city of the dead, the city of the living, and the city of the unborn, all of which are proportional to the number of people in that area. This drawing took over 23 hours to complete.
Analytique: We went to the Cincinnati Museum of Art and were asked to construct an analytique of the building, adding various components into each other in order to effectively summarize the building in a single image. This drawing took over 21 hours to complete.

Daily Sketches Sketches
We were to do one sketch every day over the course of ten weeks, at the end of which we chose our 5 best sketches to be graded. Some sketches were hand drawn and others were made digitally. Here are some of the better hand drawn sketches. Project Information: Class: Communication Skills III Date: Fall 2016 Professor: Ming Tang

Totem Pole Segment Independent Projects
A little bit of context. Every year, the 5 Order of the Arrow Lodges in Section C-4B gather for a Conclave. At each Conclave we make a totem pole to commemorate the event with each Lodge bringing a section to contribute. At Conclave all the totem pole segments from the 5 Lodges are put together. This year my Lodge, Tecumseh Lodge #65, needed someone to do it so I designed and built this. This project helped to further develop my abilities with a laser cutter and forced me to adhere to a budget. Project Information: Organization: Tecumseh Lodge Order of the Arrow Date: Summer 2017

Videos
Independent Projects A little bit of context for the videos on the right. Every year, the 5 Order of the Arrow Lodges in Section C-4B gather for a Conclave. In an effort to help promote the event I put together a couple short videos parodying famous movie introductions. In addition to helping promote the event, I got experience using Premiere Pro and After Effects. Project Information: Organization: Section C-4B Order of the Arrow Date: Summer 2017 As for the one on the bottom left, in the summer of 2016 I participated in a 6 week study abroad in Caen, Normandy in northwest France. At the end of the 6 weeks the other students from the University of Cincinnati and I were required to make a video promoting the study abroad to future students. I edited the video. This was my first attempt at using Premiere Pro. 100+1
Abstract Class Work
The task was to choose 100 ordinary household objects and bind them together with a single item. I chose toy soldiers and string. The idea was to create an American flag out of these soldiers, who are bound together, to symbolize the idea that our country only exists thanks to the soldiers throughout our history who gave their lives for the United States. The country is, in this case literally, held together by our fallen soldiers. I took the flag with me to Normandy, France, in order to document it in it’s “ideal location,” the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial.
