Diciembre y enero, meses que nos hacen pensar en invierno, nieve, nostalgia, sentimientos, amor, familia, Navidad. Imágenes y pensamientos que se pue den enmarcar en el magnífico Castillo Marienburg. El Castillo Marienburg está situado en Pattensen, 30 kilómetros al sur de Hanno ver, capital del Estado de Baja Sajonia en Alemania. Fue construido por el arquitec to Conrad Hase y el maestro de obras Ludwig Frühling entre 1858 y 1867, en medio de un bosque que según las creencias populares está poblado por duendes, en el estilo neogótico del período romántico. Me trae el recuerdo de mis varias visitas a ese bello lugar y de mi bisabuelo Ludwig Nolte (1848-1916) quien fue ahijado del personaje que encargó la obra: el rey Georg V de Hannover, príncipe de Gran Breta ña y duque de Cumberland y Teviotdale (1819-1878), como un regalo de amor para su muy querida esposa Marie, princesa de Sachsen-Altenburg (1818-1907), la ver dadera señora del castillo, reina de Hannover, pero sobre todo, reina de su corazón.
Georg V y Marie reinaron de 1851 a 1866, cuando fueron desposeidos del trono de Hannover. Tuvieron tres hijos: el príncipe heredero Ernst August (1845) y las princesas Friede rike (1848) y Marie (1849), cuyos juegos y risas inundaron los pasillos, patios y jardines de este castillo con el nombre de su madre (Marienburg, castillo de Marie) que era usado por la familia real como residencia de verano, dedicados a pasear por los bosques, montar a caballo, la cacería y a las cenas, bailes y juegos en sus amplios patios y salones. Marienburg con sus arcos ojivales, ventanas con vitrales, altas y agudas torres, bóvedas de crucería con fuertes nervaduras, gruesos y sólidos muros, tratan de evocar el estilo gótico de la Edad Media, las gestas de caballería y las leyendas del Ciclo Artú rico con las comodidades y modernidades que ya se tenían a mediados del siglo XIX. El castillo cuenta con una torre de homenaje que domina el bosque circundante, un patio prin cipal y otros secundarios, un salón de caballeros o principal, así como diversas salas, estancias, alcobas y pasillos.
La familia real de Hannover conservó el castillo por siete generaciones hasta el año 2020 cuando fue cedido al gobierno del Estado de Baja Sajonia por medio de un fideicomiso para su preservación. Los últimos señores de Marienburg fueron el príncipe Ernst August de Hannover y su esposa la princesa Carolina de Mónaco. Por su origen en el amor, por su ambiente ligado a una familia y por su imponente imagen invernal, nos pareció muy apropiado presentarles el Castillo de Marienburg para desearles una bendecida Navidad y un magnífico Año Nuevo.

December and January, months that make us think of winter, snow, nostalgia, feelings, love, family, Christmas. Images and thoughts that can be framed in the magnificent Marienburg Castle.
Marienburg Castle is located in Pattensen, 30 kilometers south of Hannover, ca pital of the State of Lower Saxony in Germany. It was built by the architect Con rad Hase and the master builder Ludwig Frühling between 1858 and 1867, in the middle of a forest that according to popular belief is populated by goblins, in the neo-Gothic style of the romantic period. It brings back the memory of my several visits to that beautiful place and of my great-grandfather Ludwig Nolte (1848-1916) who was godson of the character who commissioned the work: King Georg V of Hannover, Prince of Great Britain and Duke of Cumberland and Teviotdale. (18191878), as a gift of love for his very dear wife Marie, Princess of Sachsen-Altenburg (1818-1907), the true lady of the castle, Queen of Hanover, but above all, Queen of his heart. Georg V and Marie reigned from 1851 to 1866, when they were deposed from the throne of Hanover.
They had three children: the crown prince Ernst August (1845) and the princesses Friederike (1848) and Marie (1849), whose games and laughter filled the halls, courtyards and gardens of this castle named after their mother (Marien burg, castle of Marie) that was used by the royal family as a summer residence, dedicated to walking through the woods, horseback riding, hunting and dinners, dances and games in its spacious patios and halls. Marienburg with its pointed arches, stained glass windows, tall and sharp towers, ribbed vaults with strong ribs, thick and solid walls, try to evoke the Gothic style of the Middle Ages, the deeds of chivalry and the legends of the Arthurian Cycle with the comforts and moder nities that were already available in the mid-nineteenth cen tury. The castle has a keep that dominates the surrounding forest, a main courtyard and other secondary ones, a knight’s or main hall, as well as various rooms, rooms, bedrooms and corridors.
The royal family of Hannover kept the castle for seven generations until 2020 when it was transferred to the government of the State of Lower Saxony through a trust for its preservation. The last lords of Marienburg were Prince Ernst August of Hanover and his wife Princess Caroline of Monaco. Due to its origin in love, its atmosphere linked to a family and its imposing winter image, we thought it very appropriate to present Marienburg Castle to wish you a blessed Christmas and a magnificent New Year.
Cada artista visual desarrolla un método propio y un sistema creativo, en mi caso, me vinculo a mi edad más temprana, cuando cada cosa al alcance de la vista era un acontecimiento extraordinario. Las emociones impresas vívidamente de la admiración infantil guían mi ánimo como artista, convivo con mi colección de esferas, objetos o rincones de un jardín tal como lo hiciere con juguetes o cual quier tipo de enseres, así unas hojas de palma son las alas de un ángel o un pena cho, también una esfera al reflejar o refractar un motivo, se pinta de colores como una radiante pelota. Para concebir mis pinturas, me preocupo poco por inventar, solo me fijo en el diminuto mundo a mi alrededor, concluyo de esta manera: quien solo mira no ve, quien solo ve no observa, quien solo observa no contempla, quien no contempla no se asombra y por el asombro se goza y comprende el milagro de la vista. “La luz es el camino” el único camino.

Eachvisual artist develops their own method and a creative system, in my case, I link myself to my earliest age, when everything within sight was an extraordi nary event. The vividly printed emotions of childish admiration guide my spirit as an artist, I live with my collection of spheres, objects or corners of a garden just as I did with toys or any type of belongings, just like some palm leaves are the wings of an angel or a plume, also a sphere when reflecting or refracting a motif, it is painted in colors like a radiant ball. To conceive my paintings, I worry little about inventing, I only pay attention to the tiny world around me, I conclude in this way: whoever only looks does not see, whoever only sees does not observe, whoever only observes does not con template, whoever does not contemplate does not know astonished and because of the astonishment he enjoys and understands the miracle of sight. “Light is the way” the only way.
Ubicado en el distrito de Dongcheng en la antigua ciudad de Beijing, el pro yecto consistió en la construcción de una casa con patio privado que incluía la remodelación de un edificio existente de la dinastía Ming a lo largo de la calle. En el proceso de diseño, era importante dar una lectura clara de lo antiguo y lo nuevo, conectando ambos en una arquitectura coherente. La valla de ladrillo que rodea la parcela y la estructura del antiguo edificio se mantuvo intacta y se aña dieron dos edificios paralelos para crear una sucesión de tres patios. Luego se agregan tres elementos de hormigón al sistema: dos “cajas” opacas que albergan los baños se insertan como complementos en la arquitectura y un marco de hormigón crea un dormitorio complementario detrás de la sala de es tar.
Al estar la mayor parte de la parcela sin construir previamen te, se pudo crear un espacio subterráneo, donde se instaló la piscina y el gimnasio. Está iluminado naturalmente por un patio en el extremo norte de la parcela y por una ventana de techo lineal en el lateral que deja ver las vigas estructurales y juegan como reflectores de luz para el espacio subterráneo. Se crea un fuerte contraste entre la planta baja, fusionán dose discretamente en el contexto de la ciudad antigua con referencias al techo tradicional chino y el subterráneo expresando una arquitectura brutalista, donde el hormigón como material único crea un interesante escenario de luces y sombras.

Locatedin Dongcheng district in the ancient city of Beijing, the project consis ted in the construction of a private courtyard house including the refurbish ment of an existing Ming’s dynasty building along the street.
In the design process, it was important to give a clear reading of the old and the new while connecting both in a coherent architecture. The brick fence wall su rrounding the plot and the old building’s structure was kept untouched and two parallel buildings were added to create succession of three courtyards. These new constructions take reference from the surrounding architecture and reinterpret it a contemporary way: the double pitch roof of traditional tiles is preserved but with lower slopes and longer eaves and the traditional wooden structure is repla ced by a combination of a thin steel structure and wooden rafters. The series of courtyards will provide different degrees of privacy increasing while progressing inside the building. The guest room and living spaces of the house will be organized around the first courtyard while the second and third patios will be totally private with bedrooms and study room.
The three buildings are connected together by a black steel canopy, made as thin as possible with its structure hidden from the observer. It generates the entrance and creates covered passages between different buildings. This horizon tal line also creates a common limit for the glass frameless windows for both existing and new architecture and creates a sun protection for the south facades. Three concrete elements are then added to the system: two opaque “boxes” hosting the bathrooms are inserted like plug-ins in the architecture and a concrete frame creates a supplementary bedroom behind the living room. Most of the plot being previously unbuilt, it was possible to create an underground space, where the swimming-pool and gym was set-up. It is naturally lit by a patio on the north end of the plot and by a linear ceiling window on the side that let the structural beams appear and play as light reflec tors for the underground space. A strong contrast is created between the ground floor, mer ging discreetly in the ancient city context with references to the Chinese traditional roof and the underground expressing a brutalist architecture, where concrete as a single material creates an interesting scenery of light and shadows.

Fernando Alonso commissioned an electric 60 Sunreef Power Eco catamaran with Sunreef Yachts last year. Currently under construction in Gdansk, Poland, his sustainable custom motoryacht will be equipped with electric engines and the shipyard’s patented photovoltaic system.

Earlier this year, Fernando Alonso explained his decision to build with Sunreef Yachts, during the shipyard’s press con ference at the Cannes Yachting Festival: “Sunreef Yachts was an easy choice for me. En Mendoza, Argentina, se dio a conocer el ranking 2022: Italia gana con Marchesi Antinori, la histórica finca Chianti Classico Las Bodegas de los Herederos del Marqués de Riscal de España, con su larga histo ria y su impresionante arquitectura, ocuparon el segundo lugar durante dos años consecutivos, mientras que los viñedos chilenos, Montes y VIK Winery, lograron el tercer y cuarto lugar. Montes también ganó el continente de América del Sur, con Robert Mondavi Winery, que se describe como el “alma de Napa Valley” en cabezando América del Norte.

Lamentablemente habrá que esperar al próximo año y soy de la opinión de que México seguramente estará represen tado por lo menos entre las 100 mejores viñas. Tenemos maravillosas y envidiables bodegas, solo será cuestión de tiempo.
Así que a los lectores con la cartera despreocupada les acon sejo que hagan la maleta no demasiado cargada para poder volver a su país de origen con unas cuantas botellas. La úni ca de estas famosas bodegas que he tenido la oportunidad de visitar es la de Robert Mondavi gracias a una invitación muy especial de la empresa mexicana Vinoteca.

Where by “best” we mean the most beautiful from the ecotourism point of view, those who know how to com bine the quality of wine with design and hospitality: in short, the overall expe rience of the visitor on the estate is rewarded. Unfortunately we will have to wait until next year and I am of the opinion that Mexico will surely be represented at least among the 100 best wineries. We have wonderful and enviable wineries, it will only be a matter of time.
So to readers with a carefree wallet I advise them to pack their suitcase not too loaded so that they can return to their country of origin with a few bottles. En esta edición les quiero presentar a Hallstatt es una localidad ubicada en la costa oeste del lago Hallstatt, en la región montañosa de Salzkammergut, Austria. Parada obligatoria de mi último viaje en Hallstatt encontraras casas alpi nas del siglo XVI y callejones con cafés y tiendas originales. Un funicular la conecta con Salzwelten, una antigua mina de sal con un lago salado subterráneo y con un mirador sobre el lago. Al oeste, un sendero llega hasta el valle de Echern, que po see cuevas glaciales y la cascada Waldbachstrub.
Al caminar disfrutaras hermosos paisajes de cuento, lagos con hermosos cis nes y aldeas que constituyen la región de Salzkammergut en Austria, la aldea de Hallstatt es probablemente la más bonita y encantadora. Con una historia que se remonta a casi 7,000 años, también es un tesoro oculto para los arqueólogos y es reconocida mundialmente como un Sitio Patrimonio de la Humanidad. In this edition I want to introduce you to Hallstatt is a town located on the west shore of Lake Hallstatt, in the mountainous region of Salzkammergut, Austria. Obligatory stop of my last trip in Hallstatt you will find alpine houses of the sixte enth century and alleys with cafes and original shops. A funicular connects it to Salzwelten, a former salt mine with an underground salt lake and a viewpoint over the lake. To the west, a trail leads to the Echern valley, which has glacial caves and the Waldbachstrub waterfall.
When walking you will enjoy beautiful fairytale landscapes, lakes with beautiful swans and villages that constitute the Salzkammergut region in Austria, the villa ge of Hallstatt is probably the most beautiful and charming. With a history dating back nearly 7,000 years, it is also a treasure trove for archaeologists and is recog nized worldwide as a World Heritage Site. Most visitors enjoy arriving during the warmer months, but in autumn the lands cape takes on a mystical quality, making the region surrounding Hallstatt a per fect hiking spot that provides multiple opportunities to take great pictures. ACozumel se le conoce como la isla de las golondrinas. Ello quizás se debe a que su ubicación y su extensión la hace apropiada para la llegada de estas aves durante su migración, cada invierno, desde Norteamérica. Por eso Cozumel tiene un valor internacional como refugio para la biodiversidad. Sin embargo, su valía es mucho mayor. La más grande isla de nuestro país alberga a 31 especies y subespecies de animales endémicos, es decir, que se encuentran ahí y en ningún otro lugar del mundo. El más famoso es el mapache enano, popular entre los visi tantes en el norte insular. Sin embargo, también hay un pecarí o jabalí de collar, un tejón, también llamado coatí, un zorrillo, una lagartija, un par de ratones, el colibrí esmeralda, y un víreo, por mencionar solo algunos. Una de las especies endémicas más emblemáticas es el cuitlacoche de Cozumel. Se trata de un ave que posiblemente se ha extinguido ya. Dejó de observarse a finales de los años 80, después del paso del huracán Gilberto. Se reportaron algu nos registros a fines de los años 90 y principios de los 2000, sin embargo, desde del embate del huracán Wilma, en 2005, no ha vuelto a encontrarse ningún ejem plar. Tendrían que pasar otros 33 años para que se cumpla el plazo de 50 sin que haya registro alguno de la especie, para que se declare su extinción. De ocurrir, la biodiversidad de la isla, de México y del mundo, perdería a una de las primeras aves víctimas del cambio climático en nuestro país. Se considera que la fuerza de los dos huracanes mencionados arrasó con los sitios de anidación y alimentación de los pocos especímenes que quedaban, haciendo aún más difícil su sobreviven cia. Como bien sabemos, el cambio climático ha incrementado notablemente la fuerza y frecuencia de los huracanes.
La presencia de esos animales únicos en el planeta, y de muchos otros más, ocurre gracias a que Cozumel aún está cubierto en su mayor parte por selvas y manglares sanos. Esa vegetación confiere a la isla su belleza espectacular, contribuye a capturar dióxido de carbono y, por lo tanto, a mitigar el cambio climático. Por si fuera poco, los habi tantes y visitantes de este que es el principal destino de cruceros del mundo dependen de sus selvas para recargar los acuíferos que abastecen de agua a decenas de miles de familias, a los hoteles, restaurantes e instalaciones portua rias. Esa misma agua subterránea desemboca en el Caribe, manteniendo con vida, o llevándole la contaminación de las aguas residuales mal tratadas, al arrecife de coral cuya salud no es poca cosa. Cozumel es una de las capitales mundiales del turismo de buceo. Millones de personas practican este deporte para gozar del colorido y la riqueza de vida de los arrecifes, dejando una cuantiosa derrama económica para los isleños. Afortunadamente, la sociedad cozumeleña, desde hace años, ha tomado medidas para proteger su patrimonio na tural y, por tanto, económico. La totalidad de sus arrecifes, así como una buena parte de sus costas están incluidos dentro de áreas naturales protegidas federales. La mayoría de sus selvas del interior, donde se encuentran los pozos de agua potable, están dentro de un área protegida estatal. Además, la UNESCO reconoce a Cozumel como una Reserva de la Biosfera por su relevancia global. Todas ellas, ligadas a las zonas arqueológicas, como la de San Gervasio, y a las tradiciones vivas en la ciudad y en el Cedral, son una oportu
nidad extraordinaria para que Cozumel diversifique su ofer ta a través del turismo de naturaleza y cultura. Manejado adecuadamente, y aprovechando los millones de cruceristas que llegan cada año, ese turismo alternativo podría dejar a Cozumel ingresos millonarios sin tener que abrir nuevos muelles o sobre densificar su costa con enormes hoteles.
Si Cozumel logra consolidar la proyección de sus selvas y manglares, diversificar su turismo con una oferta redituable, pero de baja densidad, reducir la construcción de gran in fraestructura, y devolver a la naturaleza las aguas residuales limpias, será uno de los principales ejemplos de desarrollo sustentable en todo México. El arraigo y cariño que los cozumeleños tiene por su maravillosa isla seguramente lo harán posible.

Cozumel is known as the island of swallows. This is perhaps because its location and extent make it suitable for the arrival of these birds during their migra tion, each winter, from North America. That is why Cozumel has an international value as a refuge for biodiversity. However, its value is much greater. The largest island of our country is home to 31 species and subspecies of endemic animal sors, that is, they are found there and in no other lugar in the world. The most famous is the dwarf raccoon, popular with visitors in the insular north. However, there is also a peccary or collared boar, a badger, also called coati, a skunk, a lizard, a pair of mice, the emerald hummingbird, and a vireum, to mention just a few. One of the most emblematic endemic species is the Cozumel cuitlacoche. It is a bird that has possibly already become extinct. It ceased to be observed at the end of the 80s, after the passage of Hurricane Gilberto. Some records were reported in the late 90s and early 2000s, however, since the onslaught of Hurricane Wilma, in 2005, no specimen has been found. It would take another 33 years for the 50 years to be met without any registration of the species, for its extinction to be declared. If it happens, the biodiversity of the island, Mexico and the world, would lose one of the first birds victims of climate change in our country. It is considered that the strength of the two hurricanes mentioned wiped out the nesting and feeding sites of the few remaining specimens, making their survival even more difficult. As we well know, climate change has significantly increased the strength and frequency of hurricanes.
The presence of these unique animals on the planet, and many others, occurs thanks to the fact that Cozumel is still mostly covered by healthy jungles and mangroves. This ve getation gives the island its spectacular beauty, contributes to carbon dioxide capture and, therefore, to mitigate climate change. As if that were not enough, the inhabitants and visi tors of this main cruise destination in the world depend on its jungles to recharge the aquifers that supply water to tens of thousands of families, hotels, restaurants and port facilities. That same groundwater flows into the Caribbean, keeping ali ve, or carrying pollution from poorly treated sewage, to the coral reef whose health is no small feat. Cozumel is one of the world capitals of diving tourism. Millions of people practi ce this sport to enjoy the color and richness of life of the ree fs, leaving a substantial economic spill for the islanders. Fortunately, Cozumel society, for years, has taken measures to protect its natural and, therefore, economic heritage. All of its reefs, as well as a good part of its coasts are included within federal protected natural areas. Most of its inland forests, where drinking water wells are located, are within a state protected area. In addition, UNESCO recognizes Cozumel as a Biosphere Reserve for its global relevance. All of them, linked to archaeological sites, such as San Gervasio, and the traditions alive in the city and in El Cedral, are an extraordinary opportunity for Cozumel to diversify its offer through nature and culture tourism. Properly managed, and taking advantage of the millions of cruise passengers who arrive each year, this alternative tourism could leave Cozumel millionaire income without having to open new docks or densify its coast with huge hotels.
If Cozumel manages to consolidate the projection of its jun gles and mangroves, diversify its tourism with a profitable offer, but of low density, reduce the construction of large in frastructure, and return clean wastewater to nature, it will be one of the main examples of sustainable development throu ghout Mexico. The roots and affection that the Cozumeleños have for their wonderful island will surely make it possible.

Todo empezó cuando el inquieto de Alex Zozaya se comunicó conmigo para decir que era tiempo de tener otra aventura submarina, que buscara un lugar espectacular. Lo primero que vino a mi mente fue la isla del coco, en Costa Rica, pues lo recuerdos que tengo del lugar son muy buenos. Después de hacer los arreglos con el barco que nos llevaría, solo nos quedaba es perar a que se cumpliera fecha del mes de octubre para nuestra partida, el grupo ya estaba armado con Pablo Simón como fotógrafo oficial, Eduardo Guzmán, Alex Zozaya y un servidos.
Por fin llego el día, nos embarcamos en el puerto de Punta Arenas, Costa Rica en el barco Under sea hunter el cual seria nuestro hogar los próximos 10 días.
Navegamos casi 36 horas para llegar a la isla que se encuentra a 320 millas náuti cas de la costa mas cercana, el océano pacifico, se mostro alegre durante la trave sía, que transcurrió sin novedad. Al llegar a la isla nos percatamos que esta cubierta de verde pues la precipitación pluvial es muy alta, llama mucho nuestra atención la gran cantidad de cascadas que existen por todos lados y son de diferentes tamaños. Esta habitada solo una muy pequeña porción de ella, por guarda parques, biólogos que cuidan la isla con esmero.
La lejanía con tierra firme, lo difícil de su acceso y el extremo cuidado que tiene los guarda parques, hacen que esta pequeña porción de tierra tenga uno de los fondos marinos mas espectaculares del planeta, por algo también es conocida como la isla de los tiburones o como la isla del tesoro, pues cuenta una leyenda que aquí un pirata escondió sus tesoros.
Yo cero que su tesoro mas grande esta en los fondos de co ral que pudimos observar desde nuestra primera inmersión, los corales se mostraban sanos y llenos de color, en ellos los peces globos moteados, erizos, estrellas de mar, y no era una, eran muchas, y este no era el mejor lugar, apenas era nuestro primer día.
Los siguientes buceos pudimos observar tiburones punta blanca, rayas mármol, tortugas, muchos peces de colores, peces cirujanos, garlopas, pulpos, morenas, cardúmenes de jureles, tiburones sedosos, delfines y grandes escuelas de tiburones martillos.
Pero la cereza del pastel fue cuando veníamos de bucear un arco muy grande y bonito, cuando ya desde la lancha vimos a lo lejos un par de orcas que venían directamente hacia nosotros, con ansiedad de principiante nos pusimos nuestro equipo de snorkel para brincar al agua, pero el guía no nos permitió.
Esto es la isla del Cocos a eso habíamos venido, a ver a los grandes del mar, pero también entendimos que esa maravi lla de lugar existe por el gran cuidado y protección que les brindan sus cuidadores.
Pero seguro regresaremos para poder contarles a nuestros lectores la experiencia.
Entre buceo y buceo nos refrescábamos en alguna de sus muchas cascadas, eran las vacaciones ideales, bucear en uno de los mejores lugares del mundo como lo pudimos comprobar cuando, muy cerca de nosotros y saliendo de lo profundo nos vino a visitar el tiburón tigre, ya famoso en el área, nos dio una vuelta y pudimos notar sus grandes ojos fijos en nosotros. It all started when the restless Alex Zozaya contacted me to say that it was time to have another underwater adventure, to look for a spectacular place. The first thing that came to my mind was the coconut island, in Costa Rica, because the memories I have of the place are very good.
After making arrangements with the boat that would take us, we only had to wait for the date of October for our departure, the group was already armed with Pa blo Simón as official photographer, Eduardo Guzmán, Alex Zozaya and a servidos. Finally the day arrived, we embarked in the port of Punta Arenas, Costa Rica on the Under sea hunter boat which would be our home for the next 10 days.
We sailed almost 36 hours to reach the island that is 320 nautical miles from the nearest coast, the Pacific Ocean, was happy during the journey, which passed without news.
When we arrived at the island we realized that it is covered with green because the rainfall is very high, our attention is drawn to the large number of waterfalls that exist everywhere and are of different sizes. Only a very small portion of it is inhabited by park rangers, biologists who take care of the island with care.
The distance from the mainland, the difficulty of its access and the extreme care that the park rangers have, make this small portion of land have one of the most spectacular seabed on the planet, for something it is also known as the island of sharks or as the treasure island, because a legend tells that here a pirate hid his treasures.

I zero that its greatest treasure is in the coral bottoms that we could observe from our first dive, the corals were healthy and full of color, in them the spotted pufferfish,sea urchins, starfish, and it was not one, there were many, and this was not the best place, it was just our first day.

The following dives we could observe whitetip sharks, mar ble rays, turtles, many colorful fish, surgeonfish, garlopas, octopus, moray eels, schools of horse mackerel, silky sharks, dolphins and large schools of hammerhead sharks.
Between diving and diving we cooled off in one of its many waterfalls, they were the ideal vacation, diving in one of the best places in the world as we could see when, very close to us and leaving the depths came to visit the tiger shark, alre ady famous in the area, gave us a tour and we could notice its big eyes fixed on us. Cuál es el papel de la mujer en pleno siglo XXI, uno muy controversial. Tras años de mantenerse la mujer con perfil bajo, era casi imposible que pudiese destacarse de entre los demás. Pero… ¿quiénes eran los demás? Los hombres. Un mundo gestionado por la masculinidad se escucha hasta seductor, pero, si lo sustituimos como un concepto real: “el patriarcado” la perspectiva cambia. Sin embargo, puede ser una ironía el que sea un caballero el que da paso a una inicia tiva que da visibilidad a mujeres intelectuales, empresarias, académicas que andan entre la sociedad mexicana sin dejar de intentar cambiar un mundo que cada vez está más alterado. Esta ironía marca otra luz en este camino de cambio de equidad humana con la segunda edición del libro publicado por el Arq. Eduardo Langagne en el que da evidencia de cuántas mujeres más hay destacadas por su labor en pro de un desarrollo en todas sus vertientes. Por segunda ocasión se compilaron las con tribuciones de mujeres mexicanas “con fuerza y con un rasgo distintivo” como señala Eleonora Rembis la prologuista de Mujeres destacadas II. Esta singular obra del Dr. Arq. Eduardo Langagne Ortega merece que sepamos quien es él. Langagne se ha distinguido por su interés en captar en blanco y negro las historias de otros y de la arquitectura misma con más de 50 libros dados a luz, siendo los dos últimos dedicados a la Mujer Mexicana. Quizá como una mues
tra de solidaridad o de inteligencia ante la realidad que nos convoca y en donde la Mujer en últimas fechas lucha incan sablemente por recuperar siglos enteros de invisibilidad. Con un gesto de humildad el Arq. Langagne agradece en su presentación del libro a las decenas de mujeres de todo el país con diversas formaciones profesionales destacables todas. Curiosamente, de cualquier forma, sigue, con todo, dudando sobre la igualdad del hombre y de la mujer. Durante más de tres décadas el Arq. Langagne ejerció la pro fesión en cuatro países contribuyendo a la arquitectura con 70 obras construidas; 20 proyectos de urbanismo; 8 expo siciones en el Poliforum por medio del CAMSAM. Luego de este período se ha dedicado a la difusión del conocimiento a través de sus más de 50 libros todos vendidos. Ha legado sus experiencias en más de 100 conferencias en países de los cinco continentes. Miembro honorario de la Academia Mexicana de Arquitectura. Del libro Mujeres destacadas II, Quintana Roo no podía quedarse atrás y particularmente Cancún. Dónde, en este caso, dos mujeres cancunenses han luchado incansable mente desde sus propias trincheras destacándose por su autenticidad y pasión por lo que hacen en pro del desarrollo de México. Ambas forman parte del constructo editorial de D´Casa Internacional Magazine, una es su directora general Verónica Guerra de Alberti y la otra, escritora de la misma la Arq. Isabel Rosas Martín del Campo cubriendo la sección La poética de la Arquitectura. Ambas invitadas honorarias por el propio Arq. Langagne para sumarse a esta gran obra “Mujeres destacadas”.
La Arq. Isabel Rosas Martín del Campo es una mujer divul gadora del conocimiento, su interés por la importancia de la habitabilidad con sentido humano y la seriedad y compromi so puesto en ello, han logrado el que haya sido invitada a nu merosos foros universitarios y gremiales de nivel nacional e internacional y también haber sido galardonada por su labor humanista. Por este interés actualmente hace un doctora do en Pensamiento Complejo. Este año obtuvo el galardón BIM Women Awards – LATAM quedando en segundo puesto de entre más de 250 mujeres regadas en el mundo, por su aporte a la comunidad. Por otro lado, Verónica Guerra de Alberti, es una mujer fiel promotora de la cultura maya a través de la moda, destacán dose desde muy joven por su facilidad en dirección creativa para llevar al éxito sus encomiendas profesionales, al punto de llevar a varios reconocimientos nacionales e internacio nales la revista D´Casa Internacional por su calidad y conte nido. No obstante, su interés por la divulgación de la cultura maya lo ha llevado desde distintivos frentes: una Lotería Maya en cuatro idiomas BAÁXAL MAYA y sus famosos Códi ces Mayas representados de una forma original en los que se encuentran productos como libros, lotería, rompecabezas, prendas y joyería todos con el único objetivo promover la cultura maya. Una fiel promotora de un Cancún y de un Mé xico rico en diversidad cultural y turística.
Ambas Mujeres Destacadas siglo XXI, dignas representantes de un Quintana Roo moderno y de continuo progreso me recen estar y ser consideradas dentro de las mujeres desta cadas de México.

But who were the others? Men. A world managed by masculinity is heard even seductive, but, if we replace it as a real concept: “patriarchy” the perspective changes. However, it may be an irony that it is a gentleman who gives way to an initiative that gives visibility to women intellectuals, businesswo men, academics who walk among Mexican society while trying to change a world that is increasingly altered. This irony marks another light onthis path of change of human equity with the second edition of the book published by Arch. Eduardo Langagne in which he gives evidence of how many more women there are outstanding for their work in favor of development in all its aspects. For the second time, the contributions of Mexican women were compiled “with strength and with a distinctive feature” as Eleonora Rembis the prologue of Outstanding Women II points out. This unique work of Dr. Arq. Eduardo Langagne Ortega deserves us to know who he is. Langagne has distinguished herself by her interest in capturing in black and white the stories of others and of architecture itself with more than 50 books given birth, the last two being dedicated to Mexican Women. Perhaps as a sign of
solidarity or intelligence in the face of the reality that sum mons us and where women ultimately struggle to recover entire centuries of invisibility. With a gesture of humility Arch.
