Crew

The annual DP Cre me, all rowers took part in this event, which combines the rowing machine (erg) with two types of running: laps around our field and stairs in St. Anthony's. This year, we increased the distances for the varsity rowers to increase the challenge of the competition.

Patrick Carroll ‘29 and Andrew Stauffer ‘29 finished in a tie, besting the rest of the middle school rowers by over 2 minutes, completing their 2000 meter erg piece, 2 laps around the field, and 10 sets of stairs in 20:25.

For the high school novices, Darian Williams ‘27 finished first, demonstrating remarkable fortitude as he completed the 5k erg piece, 3 laps, and 12 sets of stairs in 34:25. Zaven Saveg's ‘28 effort merits mention, as he laid it all on the line on the 5k piece, obliterating our freshmen 5k record with a time of 19:12.

Finally, for the varsity oarsmen, Brendan Cuff ‘27 crossed the finish line first, finishing the 6k erg piece, 4 laps of the field, and 15 flights of stairs in 40:41. His consistency in all elements of the triathlon was impressive.
