FROM THE EDITOR
The Inner Peace Parenting Magazine is around thanks to a hunch! In May of 2012 I was planning to start an internet business and looking for the best way to step up and stand out in this virtual world. I got an email from a marketer I really admired and took the time to watch the video series he recommended, even though they were being run at midnight in my time zone. At the end of the final video they explained the advantages of their system and their offer to learn how to use their tool. Well, in that moment my body filled with chills. I got all emotional inside and my eyes started to water. “Something” told me that this is what I had been searching for! I had tried over and over to get the motivation to write blog articles, learn SEO and key word stuff, but it all bored me. The idea of having a magazine, of networking with parenting coaches around the world, of offering great tips to parents also worldwide just thrilled me. I followed my “hunch” like I have done many, many times in my life. Over the years, I have refined my own recognition of my own personal and particular “signs” that, for me, mean that a certain thing is “part of my life path”.

http://youtu.be/gp_bwYt7VY0 Have you ever been surprised or shocked when your child said something “out of the blue”? Could it be that your child is using natural intuitive abilities? Interview Insights Trust what you & your children “get”. Children do not question what they “get”. Be open and receptive to what your kids “feel and have to say”. Give your kids “perceptive” so they are not afraid of their “experiences”. Allow your children their soul print. We are a soul that has a body, not a body that has a soul. The key to success is finding what works for you and being free to be yourself. Words are the language of the mind. Feelings are the language of the soul! Reality check: Share with your kids and These kids now are more spiritually aware. Give your kids space for expression. Lift the barrier of fear of not understanding. You have wisdom so allow your kids to live more fully and use all their abilities. Children in reaction will chose to turn the volume down on “intuition” if they are not accepted. Give your children the validation of your child’s amazingness! Have you children “feel” their way through life and not “make” their way through life! Do your best for your kids even by being open to the spiritual aspect of your child.
"Basically, everything has an energy signature. At a sub-atomic level, everything is vibrating at it's own rate. I have developed the ability to understand the language of energy and interpret it for you. Life is pure energy, and all is connected in some way. Your thoughts are what create your reality around you. By what you think about and how you perceive your reality, that is what you will attract in your life. Life doesn't happen to us, it happens because of us. By feeling your energy, I am able to tell you what has happened, what is going on right now, and what is coming up for you based on the direction of where your thoughts are currently taking you. I seem to be extremely accurate with people connected to you, experiences and upcoming events. Utilizing the connection of Oneness, the matrix life force that connects us all, I am able to feel the energy's direction for the client and the people they are connected to. A few examples of questions answered would be "What does my boss think of me?" or "What is my husband feeling about the relationship?" A number of clients rely heavily upon the information that I receive from my Guides. They are extremely accurate. It's really great when what information I have given out comes to pass, and then the client is back for more! Some of my clients hold positions from Executives of large companies, to people in Government positions, to people working on large multi-million dollar deals, to doctors, nurses and the like. I hear consistent feedback from people I have seen validating that the information they received was accurate and/or came true. It's always my pleasure to be of service to anyone seeking assistance. I look forward to speaking with you soon." Jamie Clark

PEACE IN SENSES
The Three Thoughts Test Listen To or Ignore the Warnings By Kahanu Keawe
Have you ever wondered what would have happened if you didn’t listen to that gentle inspiration, inner voice or internal dialogue, warning or encouraging you to do or not to do something? My following personal story shares with you about a time that I didn’t listen to that intuitive inspiration that was gifted as a warning to me. It was a busy afternoon and evening. My husband had just left to attend a late meeting; it was getting dark outside and dinner was ready. My two daughters sat down to eat while my two sons decided it was the perfect time to go out to play with the neighbors. I was feeling a little irritated that they went outside without asking permission first. I decided to go call them in.
As I got closer, again the thought came, encouraging me to open the screen door and again I dismissed it.
The door that opens into our garage houses a retractable screen installed with only the top track. Walking towards the door, I had the thought, “remember to open the screen.” Since it was dark outside, I thought to myself, “No, the screen door wouldn’t be pulled across.”
Ignoring the repeated warnings from my internal dialogue, take the first step outside and immediately I run into the screen! The metal handle popped completely out of the track and swung right at me, hitting me like a slap right across my forehead!
Finally at the doorway, my eyes couldn’t see it clearly because it was dark.
9
I was upset. After yelling “ouch!” I put the screen back on its track. In addition to the stinging pain, my mind was racing with a million thoughts-- none of which were supportive or helpful.
If I had listened, the entire night would have gone different. Instead, because I chose not to listen, I was in immediate pain.
In addition to the stinging pain, my mind was racing with a million thoughts-- none of which were supportive or helpful.
The next few days would serve as a continued reminder of my choice and of my pain as I would have to wear a BandAid on my forehead with everyone asking,
Questions like: why did the boys go outside, why didn’t they just stay in, if they were inside I wouldn’t be walking outside in the first place. I put my hand on my throbbing head. When I lowered my hand to pick up a fallen tricycle I saw blood; and it was at that moment that I finally realized I had been hurt. Stunned, I went back in the house, into the bathroom and I had a mini mommy meltdown as I tended to the gash in my eyebrow. I was grateful it didn’t hit my eye but more upset that I didn’t listen to the intuitive voice of warning from within.
“What happened to you?” Here is what I learned: Unless you have previously practiced listening to and recognizing an intuitive thought or feeling, in the moment of inspiration (which is normally very busy/ stressful) it is really hard to follow. With the constant mind-chatter that we battle, how do you know when it is intuitive guidance or not? Do not despair. I believe this is a skill you can develop by following the simple “Three Thought Test:”
10
THE THREE THOUGHT TEST The First Thought you have is your intuitive guidance or inspiration. This thought is normally a thought that calls for a different action then you were planning. Example: The screen is pulled closedremember to open the screen; pick up this child first; call your mom; pay that bill; take the umbrella; go this way instead of that way; stop here first; etc. The Second Thought that normally follows is a rationalization statement. It says something like, no, I don’t need that or I don’t need to do that. For example: No, I don't remember the screen pulled closed; my mom is fine, I talked to her yesterday; that’s not the plan; it’s not raining; the gas tank is half full, I don't need to stop and get gas. The Third Thought you hear in your head often asks you to completely negate your First Thought. It sounds like, what was that? Or where did that come from? These questions, if headed, will successfully deter you from taking inspired action on your intuitive guidance.
Example: I don’t see the screen; I always go this way, why take a different route; I don’t need an umbrella; I don’t want to bother doing that, it is too much extra effort; etc. As a parent, refining the skill of listening to your intuition will help you to navigate the daily challenges and unexpected situations that come your way. I challenge you to listen to your thoughts and try out the Three Thought Test. From personal experience, I have come to realize that I don’t what to know what will happen if I choose not to listen to my own intuition again - because sometimes it hurts.

Interview Insights The Pineal Gland is in the center of your brain and the gateway to higher visions, knowledge, inspiration and dreams. It is the portal into higher realms such as multi-dimensional and multi-sensorial experiences. There are several factors in your environment that shut down and decrease your pineal gland’s ability to function. Fluoride: This causes accelerated sexual maturity for girls which increases their susceptibility to breast cancer. It is found in your drinking water, toothpaste, foods and oral care products. Aluminum: This attracts and assists your body in absorbing higher levels of fluoride. It can be found in your water, beverage cans, deodorant and shampoo. Microwaves: These ovens, cell and microwave towers and cell phones have these frequencies. Electro Magnetic Frequencies: These are what your cell phones, television, smart products and appliances emit.
Antidepressants, Wifi, Soda and many more! Suggestions: drink pure spring water or use a filtration system. Use organic all natural health care and beauty products. Avoid food and beverages that come in aluminum cans. Drink fresh juices. Be out in nature as much as possible to absorb vitamin D from the sun and strengthen your immune system. Create an alkaline diet. Keep your cell phones away from your bodies and disconnect wifi when not in use. Elevate your vibration and your consciousness with yoga, meditation, vision work, and use of imagination.

The Power of the Ripple Effect How Mothers Living on Purpose Heal the World By Tina Games
Imagine for a moment a pebble thrown into a pond. It creates a ripple that goes on and on and on. I believe that mothers are a significant part of the ripple effect - that will transform the world into a more loving, more nurturing place. When a mother is living life with complete authenticity, she's subconsciously giving permission for her kids to do the same. She's truly at her best - creating powerful change for herself, her family, her community - and for the world at large. It's all part of "the ripple."
Shortly after the birth of my first child, and after making some fairly significant life changes at the same time, I fell into a period of depression.
But what if something goes awry - and "the ripple" stems from a place of frustration, confusion, disconnect or unhappiness?
I hadn't realized until this experience how much of my identity was tied into things that were outside of me, like my career.
My transformational work with mothers came out of my own experience of connecting with the moon during a dark period in my life.
Without it, I felt very lost and very unhappy. It was during this time that I fell back on a great passion of mine - journal writing. 19
So night after night, I'd grab my journal and retreat to my favorite chair - beside a big bay window where I caught a glimpse of the moon. It was the moon that taught me the meaning of transition. I'd watch this beautiful lunar goddess, night after night, move in and out of her various phases, from darkness into light. And before long, I began to connect her phases with my own emotional tides. So when I came to the point of writing my book, Journaling by the Moonlight: A Mother's Path to Self-Discovery, I wanted mothers to realize that every human transition begins in darkness and gradually moves into light, where we get a glimpse of what is possible.
This is what I call the Blue Moon phase when we finally realize that we are here on this Earth to be WHO we are, to put our personal thumbprint on the world in the most truthful, most authentic, most unique way possible.
And then we retreat, to ponder the many ways we can manifest these possibilities into reality.
And because moms are natural role models, our kids are observing all the time. There's a lot of truth in the saying, "Monkey see, monkey do."
This requires deep work, where we step into our own truth and into our own power - and where we can emerge in the most authentic way possible.
In other words, when a mom is modeling the value of following her heart, her kids get it - much more than they would if she was just saying it. Kids feel energy. They know when a person is happy and when they're not. So why not be happy - and let the ripple flow? Wouldn't the world be a much better place if we were all following our hearts? If we could truly live life with passion and purpose, everything would have a richer and deeper meaning.
20
It would create a ripple of positive and loving energy that could literally heal the world. Each and every one of us has the power to create great change in the world. And this change has the most impact when we begin with ourselves - looking in the mirror and honoring the person who is staring back. WHO is this person? Do you really know her at her core? If you were to remove every label that she wears - mother, wife, partner, community leader, business owner, loyal friend, etc. who is she? Imagine for a moment - each of these labels being a blanket. Slowly remove each blanket, acknowledging the label it represents, and set it aside. Continue doing this until you have no more labels except - SELF. Who is SELF? Take a moment to describe SELF from the inside out. How do you feel when you're not bombarded by what the world thinks you should be?
What are your passions? What are your dreams? What makes you come alive? How does this person - from the inside out - want to show up in the world? These are great questions to ponder in your journal, allowing yourself to answer them - truthfully and completely. When we start chipping away at the exterior labels, what do we look like on the inside? What is our "diamond in the rough?" Once we discover this, we've connected with our authentic self. And it's from this place where purposeful, powerful and magical ripples are created. What kind of ripple are you sending out? Through her signature coaching programs, based on the phases of the moon, Tina gently guides women from darkness to light as they create an authentic vision filled with purpose, passion and creative expression.
