A small town with a population of 1500, set in splendid surrounds, it is of great scenic, natural and historical interest. The old, extremely well-kept town centre has been beautifully restored and boasts splendid cobblestone paving. The Church of St George and the Immaculate Conception and the Church of St Vittore Mauro, all make Origlio a very special, delightful area both for the local populace and for the many visitors. The countless trails, which crisscross the area, allow for enjoyable walks and excursions, making it easy to reach the San Zeno, San Bernardo and San Clemente hills and the Redde Tower. But Origlio’s real gem is its small lake, a fortunate blend of nature protection (reed beds, waterlilies, ponds, alder groves, an orchard, fauna and flora) and leisure.

Der gut restaurierte und gepflegte Ortskern mit seinen schön gearbeiteten Pflastersteinen, die zahlreichen Grünflächen, die Kirche San Giorgio e dell’Immacolata und die Kirche San Vittore Mauro machen Origlio zu einem historisch bedeutsamen und angenehmen Ort sowohl für die Einwohner als auch für die zahlreichen Besucher. Die zahlreichen Wege, von denen die Region durchzogen ist, laden zu erquicklichen Spaziergängen und Ausflügen ein und führen Sie zu den Gipfeln des San Zeno, San Bernardo, San Clemente und zum Turm von Redde. Die eigentliche Perle von Origlio ist aber der kleine See: eine gelungene Mischung aus Naturschutz (Schilf, Seerosen, Weiher, Erlen, Obstgärten, Fauna und Flora) und Erholung.
