The Summer Conferenc e i s now Distric t history . What we do nex t i s base d o n ou r pas t performance. . Th e figure s fro m Toastmaster s Internationa l ha s no t bee n receive d as yet , officially . However , i n speakin g wit h th e personne l i n California , we wer e tol d tha t Distric t 47 ha d th e fift h highes t increas e ou r membershi p i n new clubs ! Fift h highest . PROCEDURES:

1 Subjec t shal l be a poem, song , par t o f a play , book o r magazine .

2. Prio r t o th e contest , contestant s wil l furnis h th e name, author , and a cop y o f th e origina l materia l t o th e Contes t Chairman .
