Warragamba Dam grounds open Premier Nathan Rees has welcomed families back to Warragamba Dam, officially reopening the grounds for the first time in more than a decade. Mr Rees declared Warragamba Dam back open to visitors after a $240 million upgrade. See page 3 & 10

New Anglican Minister Welcome to Rev Matthew Olliffe and his family who are now living in Silverdale. Matthew is already planning changes to the service times at Warragamba and Mulgoa with additional services proposed for the churches in Luddenham and Silverdale. Matthew is a great musician and is also planning an evening service at St Thomas, Mulgoa, with a band for our youth and young adults. Please tele-

Damfest It was a very wet day but Damfest 2009 was still well supported with all the stalls and events. The date is already set for next year, the 17th October 2010 and the Dam Fest committee are looking for volunteers to help make next year’s event even bigger as part of the 50th anniversary of Warragamba Dam. Carols in the Park The combined churches Carols in the Park is in Warragamba Park on the 12th December, starting at 8pm. There will be plenty of traditional carols to sing along to with a puppet show,

school performance and face painting. Bring your own candles for a wonderful traditional family time together.

Mulgoa Bicentennial This was a great success with 8 full buses touring the historic homes and the official unveiling of the commemorative plaque by the Governor of NSW. There was plenty of action with the musket firing, followed by the Mulgoa Music Festival. See page 3
