Business Awards The 2010 Local Business Awards were recently held for the Penrith and Camden/Wollondilly areas. Our area was very well represented with a number of local businesses and advertisers making the finals. Four local businesses are also finalists in the upcoming 2010 Business Achiever Awards and the winners will be announced in September. Congratulations to all finalists. 40 Fined In Covert Surveillance Of Sydney’s Drinking Catchment

Wallacia Public School students are very excited to be moving into their new library, built under the Building the Education Revolution. There is a brand new communications system with a smart board and furniture but no books. The old library was damaged by fire a few weeks again and about half of the books have been smoke damaged. On election day, 21st August, the School P&C will be holding a BBQ with stalls, cakes and raffles to raise funds for the purchase of new books for the library.
