RTC Recap. Going to RTC for the first time gave me one of the best days that I have ever experienced. Through the first few hours of the day, I attended presentations on things such as graphics standards and being a leader and learned more about charities such as Yuda Bands and the Thirst Project. Yelling cheers with the rest of Coronado’s Key Club against other clubs during spirit battles and being apart of the top three in our division was something that I’ll always remember. I also loved the feeling of every club supporting each other through cheering and getting cheered on with the “Good Job” and “Superstar” cheers. Ending the day, I had a lot of fun playing games and hanging out with both our and other schools’ clubs which led to me leaving Green Valley High School being more proud than ever to not only be a Coronado student, but also a member of our Key Club.

My first RTC experience was phenomenal. I love my Key Club and everyone in it. This year we made it to round two of the spirit stick and we won Best Sportsmanship. I love the spirit our school brought. I'm glad i joined key club not only for the members but also for the service. I would like to thank our awesome board members for making my first RTC experience a wonderful one. This RTC made me more confident in myself and more confident in being a leader. The workshops taught me a lot to help serve our community and those in it. I can't wait to grow with key club and all of the members. I now have a newfound love and passion for key club and I'm excited about being apart of the board. - Jasmine Mortero, 9

Alzheimer’s Walk Recap. My experience with the Alzheimer’s walk held a significant meaning. There were many participants and clubs around as well as other volunteers that invested their time to be a part of this charitable event. It was almost surreal in the fact that so many people came together and cheered those who walked in this event. The excitement that came from both the walkers and the ones who cheered were a unique experience to be a part of; being part of a club and the crowd that encouraged everyone around them was something I was glad to have taken part in. The feeling of helping out to something so serious while having fun in the process is an occurrence that is incomparable. -Brandon Milhomme (10/8/16)

Car Wash Recap. It was my first time to be in a car wash and it was the best experience that I have been in key club. The best moment is when we have to wash a truck that has been covered in dirt. It was gross but our hard work paid off when clean that truck. It was like a new truck. I had the best time in the car wash and it was a memorable experience. Patrick Penalber, 09

Green Valley Sells Donuts at the Homecoming Carnival The Homecoming booth event on was surprising fun! It was the first Key Club event that I signed up for and I really enjoyed my time being there. We walked around carrying signs to advertise and tried to sell people Krispy Kreme Donuts. Sometimes it's hard to get people to buy stuff, but my friends and I tried really hard. I get excited when I see people walking towards our booth, and it feels great after every time we sell a donut. We all walked back and forth yelling "BUY A DONUT, ONLY ONE DOLLAR", and it the end we sold out really quick! - Lisa Nguyen, 11

October DCM Recap. On October 19, we had our DCM held at Del Sol and it was fun seeing the division meet together four days RTC. Bethany, Executive Assistant, shared the positive messages from the “Positivity Box that Jasmin created at RTC. I want to thank Del Sol for letting Division 28 South host their DCM at their school. Jasmin did a wonderful job hosting our DCM by giving a nice icebreaker where all schools present their cheers from RTC.
