What’s up, Orcas? This year, let’s work harder to fundraise and attend events! I know you all are amazing and capable! Your participation and spirit is what makes our division awesome <3 Last year you all did wonderful with service! Let’s keep shining and making our communities better places. The division wouldn’t be what it is without all of your hard work! Thank you so much for all that you’ve done last year, but I know we can make 2021 even better! See you all at our future DCMs and events!

Howdy, Orcas! Happy new year! I hope you all are well rested from winter break, and are ready to start serving again! I hope the transition into the new year has gone smoothly for all of you, and that you all have had time to spend with friends and family! I hope you all like the Sumikkogurashi theme! If you have any suggestions for the next newsletter, let me know! Thank you all for working so hard, and I hope everyone has a great 2021!

A Key Clubber helping her community by spreading holiday cheer!

On the 28th of November, Arra Larson decided to help spread holiday cheer to her local senior citizens. At the Sunny Senior Center Arra helped decorate for the holidays and brighten up the mood. She put up a snowmen decoration in the senior citizen center as a holiday decoration to bring joy to those who may be suffering through this pandemic. Her efforts made a huge impact on those to spread holiday cheer as she made a positive impact on her community. Her work and determination really helped create a different atmosphere. Way to go Arra!

Screenshots of the service project!

On Saturday, December 19, Division 37 West held the silly Shrektastic December Division Council Meeting! We begun with a meeting like usual to go over updates and important information! Afterward, we went into breakout groups and worked together to create recipe cards for a church that will be cooking meals for the less fortunate this holiday season! We hope our recipes give the church inspiration and joy! Once we completed the cards, we played Shrek-themed games with our breakout rooms and had a blast bonding with other Orcas! Thank you to everyone who attended, and we hope to see you all, plus more, at the next DCM! Thank you Ms. Hamamoto, Mr. Yasuoka, Mr. Klein, Mr Azimi, and Mrs. Speaks for chaperoning our DCM!
