DIVISION 37 SOUTH X EAST X WEST KEY-STER SERVE-A-THON On Saturday, April 20th, Key Clubbers from Division 37 South, East, and West met at Hollandia Park in San Marcos for a DCM and a wonderful four hours of service and spirit: a Serve-a-thon! The event was divided into four stations; each of three stations led by a Lieutenant Governor, and all three led the last station. Station One focused on writing letters to veterans overseas. Station Two involved a fun Easter egg hunt and icebreaker. Station Three concentrated on illustrating cards for local hospitalized children. Station Four was a huge relay race with three teams competing for the ultimate prize – satisfaction. Blue Team ended up being victorious over the Red and Purple Teams, concluding an amazingly successful first DCM! - Antony Lin, Lieutenant Governor

DCON On the weekend of April 12th to 14th, Orcas from Rancho Buena Vista, Sage Creek, El Camino, and Guajome Park ventured to the Ontario Convention Center for CNH Key Club’s annual gathering: District Convention. D37W members that attended witnessed the spirit and energy emanating from other divisions as well as the passion all members had for service. Not only were Orcas able to network with other members from across the district, but they were also able to witness the installation of their 2019-2020 Lieutenant Governor as well as participate in a number of spirit-related activities and educational workshops. We hope to see many more Orcas at to DCON next year! - Antony Lin, Lieutenant Governor

WALK FOR MS On the weekend of April 27th to 28th, Orcas from Rancho Buena Vista, El Camino, and Sage Creek participated in a weekend of service at the Carlsbad Walk for MS. The Walk for MS program connects people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) as well as raises funds for research and support programs for those living with MS. While participation in this event was not meant to be interclub, it was a wonderful yet heartwarming coincidence that all three clubs happened to send members to help out their community. Some Key Clubbers helped with setup, others with check-in, and others still with cleanup; whatever the job, no Orca backed down from serving those with MS and their supporters! - Antony Lin, Lieutenant Governor
