Howdy Orcas! The school year is almost over! As we are wrapping up school with finals and any remaining AP exams, I hope you all don’t forget that service doesn’t stop! Be sure to keep up with your home club for service opportunities throughout the summer! But, don’t forget to use this opportunity to rest up and prepare for the next school year :) Plus, I hope you all stay on the lookout for more division events! Things like division fundraisers, service projects and more are to come this month and this summer! Finally, I want to thank you all for your hard work. Seeing all of the hard work each club has put out has been so wonderful and fulfilling! I want to let you all know that your work does not go unnoticed, and I appreciate each and every one of you! Like always, don’t forget to take care of yourself! Keep up the amazing work, Orcas!

With much effort and planning, the El Camino Key Club hosted their very first general meeting of the 2021-22 Term on April 26th, 2021. At this meeting, the officers introduced themselves, as well as shared their favorite boba flavors, and presented a slideshow that explained some events like the April DCM, the Shriners Hospital Service Project, and future goals for the club. “With the new term, we wanted to use this opportunity to bring El Camino’s Key Club back to life,” declares Key Club President Asia Chan, “With the help of all our officers, we were able to triple our regular number participants at our meeting! This turnout is amazing, and gives me hope that this term can return back to the lively, fun key club we all loved.” Additionally, the club played a fun Kahoot as an icebreaker, featuring questions such as, “Which is the most annoying pet peeve?” and, “What superpower do you want out of these four?: Invisibility, Flying, Super Strength, or Reading Minds.” The officers of the El Camino Key Club are all inspired and driven to make their Key Club successful and are excited for what is in store for this term.
