Hello Orcas! Attention fellow Orcas! This is Lieutenant Governor Emily here! I hope your summers have had a great start. Since summer is here it is important to remember that service never sleeps and all members must stay active. Service projects, DCMs, Visitations. All of which you should be participating in. Than you to everyone who made it to the May DCM. It was a great kick off for the year. Please keep in mind, that our division is a family. We all need to participate to proudly serve together and represent our division. Communication is KEY for a team. Within this newsletter there will be a page about how to receive upcoming dates and events that all members should be informed about so you can all participate in the division. Please share this with your fellow key clubbers to grow our division family! Can't wait to see all my ocras at service projects and key club events coming up! See you all very soon.
Yours in Service,
Emily Sim

Sp tlight on Service The Spotlight on Service Program is a recognition service that offers a chance for clubs to be featured in the District Newsletter. It provides a unfom infrastructure for clubs to take initiative in becoming involved with local and districtwide organizations that are parallel with the Cali-Nev-Ha District's Major Emphasis - Children: Their Future, Our Focus
JULY FOCUS: GO OUTDOORS This month's focus is to emphasize going outdoors. A growing epidemic in our world is obesity. Promote events that enforces a healthier lifestyle. Go and support service outdoors to support our home, school, and community.

May DCM
Another successful DCM for the books. Thank you to everyone who made it to the DCM. Ice cream, crayons, musical chairs. It was a great day to build more friendships within the division. $65 was raised and donated to the eliMiNaTe Project. Great job Orcas!
