Let’s work together Orcas!
MEMBERS MONEY RAISED FOR PTP
SERVICE HOURS In order to reach out service hours goal, we need to keep pushing and doing all that we can to serve our communities! To help us reach this goal, I’d suggest setting a personal goal, of perhaps 50 hours or more by January 1st! You got this, and I know we can reach 4500 hr!
The Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) is one of our preferred charities. PTP’s goal is to prevent all unnecessary injuries and deaths that could’ve been prevented by better safety measures in our communities. As Key Clubbers, let’s do our part to fundraise $4000 for PTP <3
Let’s work hard to push for member recruitment this term! We need to increase our members by atleast 25% this term, but I know we can easily surpass this with all of your hard work! Invite your friends and show your school how amazing Key Club is!

Howdy Orcas! Happy Summer and I hope you all have been taking this time to relax! Of course though, service never stops and I hope you all continue to serve and support the division and your home club’s service projects! Don’t forget our goal of goal of 4500 hours, and with just a little more hard work we’ll be on track! Additionally, let’s get fundraisers going this summer! In order to reach our goal of $4000 for the Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) we really need to ramp up fundraising! There are so many fun ways to fundraise, and I hope you all take advantage of the extra time we have this summer <3 As always, don’t forget to take care of yourselves! Drink water and stay hydrated <3 Serving with Love, D37W Lt. Governor Kennedy Parker Aloha Orcas! I hope everyone is having a great start to their summer! WIth the hot weather rolling in and the water starting to get warmer, I know I can’t wait to get out of my room and go to the beach to finally get in some vitamin D. Additionally, don’t forget to protect your skin from the sun and wear sunscreen! To those taking summer classes, keep working hard - I know it will definitely pay off! Speaking of working hard, don’t forget to take some time and get those service hours in! There’s always plenty of opportunities for service (and hint hint: check page 15 and 16 for a new one for this month). Be sure to have a safe and fun summer, and most importantly take some time to rest! Bubblin’ with Care, D37W Division News Editor Portia Cannon
Hi Orcas! I’m Nadia Razzaq and I proudly serve Sage Creek as president <3. I chose to run for president because I wanted to help our club regain membership and rebuild in terms of activity. This term, I aim for our club to increase membership by at least 50% and to create committees. FAVORITE KEY CLUB MOMENT My favorite key club moment was the first time I ran a breakout room at a division council

This month Mission Vista’s main service project was to create uplifting cards for hospitalized children in Illinois! They were able to perform this activity both virtually and in person. While doing so, they not only got to make cards with the club members, but had fun spending time with each other as well. - Sherinamae Marqueses

From finding glass bottles to half of a car tire, El Camino Key Club’s first ever Beach Cleanup and in-person community service opportunity was a success! On May 15th and 16th, 2021, El Camino Key Club hosted their first beach cleanup at the Oceanside Pier with a total of 12 members attending on the 15th and 6 members attending on the 16th. The members coordinated themselves into two groups and dispersed to pursue trash to the North and the South of the pier, finding unique items such as half of a car tire, a stuffed animal, and even an ID(that we returned to Human Resources)! Members had the opportunity to earn up to 4.5 service hours total for both days, resulting in a total of 45 service hours for all attendees combined! This first in-person service opportunity is truly a big step for the club and into some form of normalcy, as previously in this last term, it has been difficult to host in-person service opportunities and keep Key Club at El Camino High School alive. El Camino Key Club officers are certainly glad to host their first beach cleanup of the term and are looking forward to hosting more in-person events in the future. - Joshua Racela
