In the said hearing, the petition was announced in open court and nobody appeared to oppose the same. Neither was there any written opposition received by the Court. Ventura, the registered owner of a parcel of land covered and described under TCT No. 63354. Upon the death of his father and mother on April 9, 1997 and March 2, 2013, respectively, petitioner had custody of the owner's copy of TCT No. 63354. Unfortunately however, petitioner misplaced the same during the construction of their house when all their belongings were exposed to workers and other persons. He and his family members tried to locate it, in vain. He then executed an Affidavit of Loss. Hence, petitioners seeks the issuance of a second owner's duplicate copy of the TCT No. 63354 by filing this instant petition. Section 109 of Presidential Decree (PD) No. 1529 allows the issuance of another owner's duplicate copy of a lost title upon the petition of any interested party after notice and due hearing. The petitioner in this case is considered interested party since he is an heir of the late Agustin Ventura, the registered

DTI distributes livelihood kits in San Manuel TARLAC CITY (PIA) -Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) distributed livelihood kits to five micro enterprises in barangay San Jacinto in San Manuel, Tarlac. Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (NSB) program aids micro enterprises with materials to restore and improve their businesses. DTI OIC-Provincial Director Zaida Garibay said it aims not only to provide but also to assist micro entrepreneurs flourish. “Though your businesses are small, for now, still, they greatly support our economy,” she said. Sari-sari stores were identified, evaluated, and chosen through the Barangay Development Council (BDC). In his message, Punong Barangay Honorato Pastor extended his gratitude to the department for choosing his constituents as beneficiaries.

DPWH completes covered court in Capas By Carlo Lorenzo J. Datu TARLAC CITY (PIA) -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed the construction of a covered court inside Kalangitan National High School in Capas, Tarlac. Implemented by Tarlac 2nd District Engineering Office, it was built using reinforced 100millimeter slab on fill that includes an 18 by 30-meter court, a 66 square meter stage area with pre-painted roofing, and cladding sheets and metal structures for its columns and trusses. District Engineer Hermon Ines said they want to provide public schools with facilities that will offer students a good learning environment and at the same time serve as a venue for various social activities of local residents. “This covered court can host a multitude of programs and events such as school activities, sporting events, delivery of

social services and other extra-curricular activities,” he furthered. It can serve as an evacuation facility in times of disasters.
