I remember vividly the excitement and chaos (we had so many people wanting to do Mary Kay), when we first started. I remember how the Mary Kay Culture took roots and blossomed. I remember the glitter in the eyes of so many women in Mary Kay Philippines who have had their lives changed. I remember the excitement of all the ladies when we first displayed the “Pink Car”. I remember the great love and adoration that exudes from the audience during debut of both our NSD. • A new Beauty Consultant must accomplish all the activity requirements from her first to third month as a Beauty Consultant. • The first set of activities is Power 10 activities (HOLD 3 SKIN CARE CLASSES, 3 INTERVIEWS, 3 CUSTOMER SERVICES AND HAVE 1 NEW CUSTOMER) that must be accomplished every week. • The second set requires the New Beauty Consultant to attend at least 5 activities and/or specified classes. This must be done within the calendar month he/she signed in as a Beauty Consultant. • If he/she signed in from the 20th to the 30th/31st of the month, he/she has until the next month to accomplish her 1st Month requirements. Succeeding months’ requirements will be counted under calendar months thereon. • The new Beauty Consultant will receive a Special Power 10 Gift when she accomplishes all the

Thousands of Mary Kay family members in more than 35 countries helped their neighbors by volunteering more than 197,000 hours of community service around the world in one month from March 8 to April 8, 2012 to celebrate International Women's Day.
Mary Kay Philippines introduced the Botanical EffectsTM Skin Care to various magazine editors, TV and newspaper writers and bloggers at Kai Restaurant, Greenbelt 5 last March 15. General Manager Tente Alday and Brand Manager Fatima Lopez talked about the latest skin care product line as a perfect choice for younger and more-value-conscious consumers.
In connection with Botanical Effects' nature-and-healthy inspired launch, top food expert Ms. Nancy Lumen was invited for a tea-making session, while resident nutritionist of Pinoy Biggest Loser Ms. Nadine Tengco talked about health and wellness. In the Philippines, we conducted various community service programs - jointly accomplished by independent sales force members and Mary Kay employees, like tree-nursing activity at the LaMesa Eco Park in Manila and feeding programs for street childreen and creative learning sessions with differently challenged children in Cebu, Davao and Zamboanga.
