Dear Beauty Consultants, As we celebrate Mary Kay’s 50th anniversary, I am excited to share with you upcoming activities and newest products that will surely thrill you and your customers. The month of March kicks off with the worldwide launch of One Woman CanTM Beauty Contest. This amazing program is designed to help you reach out to more customers who, in return, will help grow your Mary Kay business. It also presents a great opportunity for you to enhance your skills and improve your techniques in helping women look and feel beautiful inside and out. If you and your customer emerge as winners in the national competition of the One Woman CanTM Beauty Contest, exciting prizes await you both – an all-expense paid 4-day trip to Hong Kong to compete in the regional finals, special feature in Applause® magazine, professional makeup training for you and styling and photo shoot for your customer. And if your customer is proclaimed winner, you will both be featured in Applause® magazine across the region and recognized at Philippine Seminar. Charity grants will also be given in your names and your customer will have the chance to become the next Mary Kay model. And on March 8th , I invite you to join us in Mary Kay’s Global Makeover Day. Our objective is to set a record of having the biggest number of makeovers in all beauty centers in a single day. I also encourage you to host your own makeover and beauty event on the same day as a gesture of appreciation for your customers and as a celebration in honor of International Women’s Day. We’re launching this month the special-edition 50th Anniversary Compact Mini. This latest Compact Mini features a golden Swarovski® crystal designed with a wave of ripple effect – a reminder that you have touched someone’s life. When a new product is introduced, learn all you can about it and start introducing it to your customers. Likewise, when a product is discontinued, try to educate your customers and transition them to the new and improved product. Build relationships with your customers through regular follow-ups and get to know them both professionally and personally. ONE DAY set aside to celebrate Mary Kay’s global presence.

Imagine Mary Kay makeovers from Pennsylvania to Poland to the Philippines! March 8 is the date Mary Kay has set for its Mary Kay® Global Makeover Day, designed to create buzz and enthusiasm around Mary Kay’s 50th Anniversary. It's a fun and interactive way to get Mary Kay® products into the hands of your new and existing customers. Be part of Mary Kay's goal of the world's largest makeover. It’s also International Women’s Day – the perfect time to officially kick off the Mary Kay® One Woman Can™ Beauty Contest!

Here are two ways to participate in the Global Makeover Day Invite your customers to do their makeover in any of our Mary Kay Beauty Centers • Bring your existing and potential customers to our Beauty Centers on March 8 (anytime from 11am to 7pm) and teach them how to do their own color makeover. We will also show the latest color tips and trends. • They can also take a picture of their makeover and upload it in our Global Beauty Contest kiosk and be part of the One Woman CanTM Beauty Contest. • You and your customers will receive a special token from Mary Kay.

Create your smaller scale makeover event • You are encouraged to host smaller scale makeover events in your own home or offices on March 8 for your customers. • Talk to your Independent Sales Director about ways you can create your own event. • After the makeover, encourage your customers to take a picture of their makeover and upload it in One Woman CanTM Beauty Contest microsite. Don't forget to make them sign the form before doing so.
