Editorz Notez As I write this it is still HOT, HOT, HOT...when will Fall ever come around in our area? Still great riding weather, though. The humidity (Southerners know what I am talkin’ about) is still bad and the skeeters are still out! Enjoy it as long as you can
Merry Christmas because the wet snow and freezing rain will be upon us soon enough. I am kinda looking forward to the cooler weather, the Fall colors, and Thanksgiving and Christmas with family and friends. Check out the cover story on pages 26 and 27. Wally has a very unique, surprise proposal for his girlfriend, Kristy. Congrats to y’all on your engagement! Happy Veterans Day on 11 November to all of our military heroes who served and are serving this great country of ours. Because of you America is the greatest place on earth to live! Nowhere else does anyone have the same freedoms and oportunities that are afforded here! Thanks to all of our readers for keeping the suggestions coming in, as well as, the stories, photos, poems, etc. Of course, none of this would be possible without our advertisers. We could not do Behind Barz without you! Without our biker family, readers and advertisers, we wouldn’t be. So, “Thank you!” God Bless each one of you! See you out on the road Behind Barz!

SO YOUR SOLDIER IS BEING DEPLOYED OVERSEAS…
Be aware, that very few families have to travel outside the U.S. even when their child is wounded; it is only the rarest of circumstances in which you might need it. Be prepared!
10 “TO DO’s”: 1. I LOVE YOU Take nothing for granted. So you think your child knows you love them? Tell them anyway and every chance you get before they leave. 2. PAPERWORK Get multiple copies of their power of attorney (POA). Make sure it covers the types of transactions you’ve agreed to be responsible for – banking, insurance, property transactions. Make sure you either have or know where all the rest of his/her papers are (car title? lease? will? etc.)
Photo above and photos below: All of our volunteers have huge hearts for our military! ...and they always have a smiling face!
7. MAIL Send STUFF. Send packages. Send books, comic books, magazines, their favorite things. Ask what they need, but even when they say they don’t need anything, send something. Send happy stuff — you know whatever makes them laugh or feel good. Be sure to learn the overseas mailing r ules – no porn, no pork, no alcohol etc. Don’t worry about sending too much – unfortunately, there are soldiers who rarely get any mail and your soldier will share. Go to your local Post Office and ask for FLAT RATE BOXES and CUSTOMS FORMS.
3. ORDERS Get a copy of their deployment orders as some vendors require these to discontinue service without a penalty (cell phone companies, cancelling a lease). Be sure to remove ALL of the social security numbers from the copy you send to anyone. 4. HANG ON! Deployment is one big roller coaster ride. They’re leaving. They’re delayed. They’re leaving. They call. They don’t call. They’re overseas. They’re leaving for the AO... (area of operations). They arrived. They get internet. The internet connection is down. They’re going out on mission. They’re back. They’re getting R&R. It looks like 6 more months. UpDownUpDown. They have an important job to do, your job is to hang on and look forward to their return. 5. PASSPORT If you don’t already have one, get a passport. We will all pray you will never need it, but it can save you in travel time if you ever happen to need it.
6. COMMUNICATION Send mail. Get their friends and family to send mail (do not publicly post their whereabouts). Send postcards. Send greeting cards. Send pictures. They might not respond as frequently as you write (or as often as you’d like) – but don’t let that stop you. And remember, if there are breaks in communications (no email, texts, or instant messages) repeat after me: NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS.
You can also get FREE boxes online to be delivered by your mailman at https://store. usps.com/…/sh…/military-care-kit-P_MILITARYKIT Get to know your postal clerks — they are a wealth of information! Pick out some family photos that will make your soldier happy; a piece of home… and why he/she serves. If you order things to be sent to your soldier, DO NOT HAVE THEM SENT TO THE SOLDIER. You will have no way of knowing whether they were ever received. We learned to have things shipped to us and then we re-packaged it in the flat rate boxes.
Please email or call us for more info. Thank you very much for your continued support!

8. BE PROUD Support their efforts. No matter what you read elsewhere or what your feelings are, it isn’t about you. They need to hear that you appreciate their sacrifice. If you can’t say something nice, say nothing. 9. NO PUSHING If they’re not telling you, don’t ask. There are some things your soldier can’t talk about. There are things your soldier doesn’t want to talk about. Try not to add to their stress. If a conversation seems to upset them – get off the subject, change it or agree with them. They have plenty on their minds and they shouldn’t have to worry about you. Make them want to communicate with you. 10. CONNECT Join support groups. You will need a hand to hold and shoulder to cry on when you’re down in their absence. The Family Readiness Group (FRG) is a command-sponsored organization of family members, volunteers, and soldiers associated with a particular unit. If at all possible, get on their list or follow them online.
Our mission is dependent on both items for packages and financial support for postage. We invite and welcome your support. Our troops are still deploying, still serving and still sacrificing for our country. We honor that service and sacrifice.
Photo above and photos below: Cute popcorn, candy bar, and hot chocolate packaging ideas for Christmas! Go to Pinterest and search for Christmas Candy bar wrappers. Here are some ideas. You can print 4 wrappers from a 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper that fit Hersey Almond bars. You can print 2 wrappers for a regular Hersey bar. You can also decorate with stickers, artwork and messages! We really need lightweight, easy to pack Christmas treats like these for our care packages.
Please keep yourself busy with other things. Once they deploy, the same old feelings creep up from those 10 weeks of basic training. Remember how hard that was? The difficulty of keeping track of your soldier and trying to communicate with him/her will consume a lot of your non-working (and in some cases working) time. You will think about them night and day. All perfectly normal, but they want you to have a life. As my son said, “That’s why we’re here – so you can live normally there.” Photos below: Creative Christmas ornaments are always welcomed! Troops love receiveing them from great folks like you back home! They are so easy to make. Try recycling Christmas cards you have received or make some from scratch! They will mean so much to our heroes deployed!
More ideas: Movie Night. Pack a box with Christmas movie DVDs such as... A Christmas Story, National Lampoon Christmas, Elf, Home Alone, A Charlie Brown Christmas, etc - all those movies that remind us of Christmas, microwave popcorn or bags of flavored popcorn, boxes of movie candy and hot chocolate packs. These are reminders of home for those who can’t be home for Christmas.

Will you join our team to make sure we can continue our mission of support to show our deployed troops that Americans still appreciates their service and sacrifice? Please don’t ever think that you can’t make a donation because your effort is too small. We appreciate every single dollar. Troop Signup for Care Packages We appreciate the service of the members of our country’s military as they deploy to serve missions in difficult and dangerous environments. Our care packages show the care and support of a grateful nation. They contain snacks, toiletries, and recreation items. Troops are welcome to ask for specific items that they may be missing or needing. Special requests often are items like coffee, certain snacks, socks, favorite magazines and books. We send packages that are large enough for several members of a troop to share. Chaplains are a good point of contact for our organization so they can distribute items in chapel, recreation items, or along their visits to outlying areas. Troops who are deployed and have a confirmed address are welcome to request care packages! Send name, address, and stop mail date to us by email to ncp4p@yahoo.com - information is only used for mailing labels and kept secure. You can also ask for special requests or needs and we will try to fill those. We ask that you let us know when packages arrive.

From nearly a mile away, the hikers on Crazy Horse’s arm and hand appear small, which is useful in comprehension of the scale of the Mountain Carving. Remember, Crazy Horse’s head is 87.5 feet tall! The next chance to hike to Crazy Horse’s Arm will be the first full weekend in June 2020. Learn more about Crazy Horse Volksmarches: https://crazyhorsememorial.org/visit/special-events/volksmarch/
CUSTER, SD
photos: Sally Colhoff unless otherwise noted
The Crazy Horse Volksmarch is the most popular organized hike in the United States (15,000 walkers in a record year). The bi-annual Crazy Horse Volksmarch (an organized hike) is a 10K or 6.2-mile woodlands ramble to the world’s largest mountain carving in progress in the southern Black Hills of South Dakota. One in the Fall and one in the Spring (35th Annual Spring Volksmarch - June 6th & June 7th, 2020). Either of these two events are the only time visitors can hike the entire mountain. This family event is sponsored by the Black Hills Chapter of the American Volkssport Association (AVA) and hosted by Crazy Horse Memorial®. Hikers follow dirt trails and gravel work roads up to the Crazy Horse Mountain Carving. The hike is 6.2 miles, and not for the faint of heart. There were four stopping points where hikers could recuperate and buy drinks and snacks before moving on the long and taxing hike. Visitors of all ages came out for the event. Some folks said they had participated many times and had seen the changes made over the years. My Aunt, Sally Colhoff, has hiked the mountain 6-times and was accompanied by her husband, Rod. She says, “I brought my dad’s walking stick, and he passed away 3 years ago, so it’s really kind of cool that I’ve got that to come up to the mountain with. I just really love being out here in the hills and everything, and seeing this beautiful monument.” The turn-around point is on the Arm of Crazy Horse directly in front of the nine-story-high face, which was completed June 3, 1998. Hikers get an up-close view of the mountain. Work continues on the rest of what will be the largest sculpture in the world.

FATHER’S LOVE Ministry & Food Pantry
Serving families, pets, and veterans in our community.
Spring 252.377.2209 Hope, NC A Touch of the Father’s Love, Inc. was founded by April Baker in 2012 as a 501C3 non-profit charity organization, which is now located at 516 E. Nash St., Spring Hope. We are a “unique” healthy pantry that provides large amounts of quality food. Our goal and mission is to help as many children, seniors, veterans and people who need assistance with food. We offer a wide range of fresh produce, meats, dairy, bread, can and dry goods and even a dessert. We also provide for pets when available. The focus of our mission is to show the love of God by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of each recipient by providing help and hope. God was answering the prayers of the people in Spring Hope AND the need is tremendous. North Carolina has one of the highest percentages in the United States of children who are food insecure on a regular basis. One out of every four children in NC goes hungry. There are many senior citizens that are struggling with food insecurity. We are thrilled to be able to offer them produce, meats, dairy, bread and canned food in ABUNDANCE. A Touch of the Father’s Love currently operates with ten volunteers, seven board members and two advisors; all of whom do not receive any pay. 100% of all donations go directly into this ministry to further impact and support this organization. At A Touch of the Father’s Love, we are working hard to make a difference in their lives and change those statistics. What really sets this ministry apart is the amount of food that we are able to give each recipient. Each box of food that is given generally weighs around 75 pounds along with a Marketplace for the recipient to select their own produce and breads. This greatly benefits each person that comes for help, because we are able to provide them with so much food along with compassion and dignity.
252.377.2209
We can make a greater impact if organizations, business and churches support and help with our mission. Our community needs not only physical but spiritual help. We need volunteers that can help us work on distribution days, help us with fundraiser, to be on committees. People to help write grants, and have marketing skills with fund raising experience. But most of all we people that will help us spread the word of God by praying with these individuals so we can make a difference in their lives. WE NEED YOU! Thank you for your time and consideration Sincerely, April Baker and Brenda Dickerson
In 2018, A Touch of the Father’s Love assisted 27,794 households and 80,180 people in Nash and the surrounding counties with life sustaining foods. In 2018, we distributed a million pounds of food; second year in a row. We have a partnership with the Central and Eastern North Carolina Food Bank in Raleigh, Feeding America and USDA/NCDA. We also assist United Christian Ministries in Rocky Mount and Veteran Residential Services in Wilson to further their mission by providing them with much needed food. In 2019, we are growing fast. Because of the need it is critical we continue our mission of helping countless seniors, veterans, children and families who struggle in society today. We can’t do it without your help and generosity of those who have a caring heart. It takes finances to be successful. We have to pick up food, buy food from CENC food bank. We have to pay for insurance to keep everyone safe. A monthly lease with light and water bills, please help us by donating or doing a fund raiser.

Johnny Badcheck and the Bouncers Look out guys and gals! There’s a hot, new band on the scene that is taking NC by storm. Johnny Badcheck and the Bouncers aren’t just your everyday Country band, they are a down home, old school, Outlaw Country band. Oh, and did I mention they are also BIKERS? The band is 4 members strong and came about after 2 of the members, Clint and Donny got together while on lunch break at work and discussed starting up a band. They asked George and Ross to join them, thus officially forming the band in June 2018. Donny Tanner aka O’Possum is from Deep Run, NC - Lead Guitar/Vocals Clint Cox aka Krusty is from Snow Hill, NC - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals/Fiddle George Irwin aka Painter is from Snow Hill, NC - Bass/Vocals/Mandolin Ross Rhodes aka Gump is from Deep Run, NC - Drums The guys are all about bringing Traditional Country Music back to life, playing the kind of music they all grew up listening to...Merle, Waylon, Willie, Johnny and Don. They not only perform cover songs, they write and perform their own original songs, also. Their first CD is set to be released before the end of 2019. On July 11, 2019, the band released their first Lyric Video and Studio recording, “Show I’ll Never Give.” Song was written and is sung by Clint. The response to this release has been amazing and is a fan favorite. You can listen to this awesome song on their FB page and on YouTube.

BeneFit RIDE For The Wall That HEELS Rocky Mount, NC
I wish to thank each and everyone that came out and particiated in The Benefit Ride For The Wall That Heels event. Also would like to thank those that donated their time, money, and gifts. We greatly appreciate it.
story & photos: Danilo DiRico
I would like to personally thank ALR Post 58, our mother chapter, American Legion Post 19, and ALR Post 19, along with American Legion Post 110 for their representation and the Nash County EMS Angels MC for their support and participation. I would also like to thank Thomas Chilton for his kind and generous donation as well as time to come out and see us off. Thank you all and God Bless. ~Danilo DiRico On Veterans Day 1996, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) unveiled a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., designed to travel to communities throughout the United States. Since its dedication, The Wall That Heals has been displayed at nearly 600 communities throughout the nation, spreading the Memorial’s healing legacy to millions. Bringing The Wall home to communities throughout our country allows the souls enshrined on the Memorial to exist once more among family and friends in the peace and comfort of familiar surroundings. The traveling exhibit provides thousands of veterans who have been unable to cope with the prospect of facing The Wall to find the strength and courage to do so within their own communities, thus allowing the healing process to begin. After leaving Tarboro, the Traveling Wall moved on to Rock Hill, SC Knights of Columbus Assembly 2108 from 10/24/19 to 10/28/19. Then it moves on to GA., TX., and MS. www.vvmf.org

Shine And Wine 5th Annual Festival
story: Doobie photos: Moe
This year was the 5th Annual Chase City Shine and Wine Festival on 28 Sept. 19. What a cool event and huge success! The BB Crew had such a wonderful time at this event, as always. We received an S&W mug and wine glass when we entered the gate. We milled around at our leisure. On site were distilleries and wineries...all local to Virginia. There were also several vendors selling various craft items Also on hand, was an awesome band rocking the crowd called, The Switch. Many of us are familiar with them from eastern NC. The Switch’s vast set list and tremendous versatility are their claim to fame. They did rock the house! The weather was really great this year and everyone is looking forward to making next year the biggest and baddest yet! Thanks to everyone for their support and participation in this year’s event! We hope to see ya at the 6th Annual Shine and Wine Festival in Chase City, VA. Watch their Facebook page or follow their website for updates an info. https://www.facebook.com/ccspecialeventsllc/ http://www.chasecityevents.org/index.html

Myrtle Beach, S.C. To begin, my fiancé had been trying to plan a vacation to Mississippi for a very long time. We had agreed on the weekend of Fourth of July and that would be our trip. Not long after I had made the decision to marry her and after buying the ring I thought that the Fourth of July parade in Brentwood Pennsylvania would be an outstanding opportunity for me to pop the question! After telling her that we would be participating in the Fourth of July parade she was very upset and continued to be pretty upset until the morning of the parade. I had planned throughout the month the details with my friends of how it was going to go down. Some knew, some didn’t. One of my closest friends returned from their Florida vacation a few days early so they could be a part of the parade, knowing what was going to happen. It was a sweltering day in western Pennsylvania for the parade. During the parade route Kristy was seated behind me and she continuously wiped the sweat from my forehead and head as we inched down Brentwood Boulevard, allowing children to twist the throttle and shake hands. I told her the plan was to get off the bike when we got to a certain point stand in front of the front tire and motion to plug her ears to tell everyone that it’s going to be loud I was going to do a burn out and then she was going to get back on the bike and we were going going to continue on.

pop the question
story & photos: Wally Paciorkowski, Jr.
As we approached the point of where we were going to do the burnout, I told her to get ready. When I motioned for her to jump off the bike she did so and ran out in front and plugged her ears, to let everybody know it was about to happen. I started the burnout and it turned out pretty good. Probably one of the better ones that I’ve done. There was so much smoke that I couldn’t find my kickstand and it took me a while to get the bike seated in the middle of the street. Once I hopped off the bike in the giant cloud of smoke I motioned over to Kristy to run over. I let her know that there was an issue with the bike. As she ran over, she started to look at the bike thinking to herself, “why am I running towards a bike if it is on fire?” When she approached the bike and looked down at the motor to see what the problem was I stepped back and reached into my pocket for the ring and presented it to everyone. At first, she didn’t know what it was. She thought it was a broken piece off of the motorcycle that I was showing her. But then, after a few seconds and hearing the crowds cheers and bikes revving, she realized what was going on. And with a smile and a tear she said, “YES!” Then she hugged me and we hopped on the bike and kept going along in the parade.

Ride As One
WAYNE COUNTY, NC
On September 7th, 2019, the NCTA and NCSHP held their 2nd Annual Ride As one Motorcycle Ride to raise funds for the NC Caisson Unit. Over 450 riders participated in the ride, which began at Shelton’s HD in Smithfield and ended at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Goldsboro, NC, where live music was featured, a car, truck, motorcycle and tractor show was held, lunch plates were sold, a Harley was raffled off and many exhibits were on display, as well as vendors being present. Several of the Caisson Horses along with their wagon and Team members were present for people to see and learn about the importance of this Unit. Hundreds of people attended this event at the Fairgrounds along with the Bikers, Lt. Governor Dan Forrest and Wayne County Sheriff, Larry Pierce, were both present and made speeches. Other Sheriffs, Police Officers and Troopers, both current and retired from surrounding Counties also attended this grand event. The mission of the Caisson Unit is to serve NC and its bordering States during a time of loss of a Fallen Law Enforcement Officer or Fire Fighters, NC Governors and other Incumbent Members of the State of NC. The Unit does not receive any state funding at this time, and relies solely on contributions and grant monies. It takes approximately $17,000.00 plus per year to maintain the Unit and it is run by highly trained volunteer Troopers. The Troopers volunteer their own time to perform their duties when called upon. The Caisson members have been trained by the US Army “Old Guard,” at Arlington National Cemetery. The Unit was called upon for the first time in June 2008, to perform a Funeral service for Trooper David Shawn Blanton. At the time of this writing, the grand total of monies raised was not known, but it was hoped that it exceeded last years total of more than $12,000.00.

from the
mind of big ed......... Daddy and I take it seriously.
Big Ed aka 2Timer
Now let’s step away from talking about my faith. I want to share my mind with you on thi s word “Freedom.“ It’s not all what it truly states in this country. We are taxed to death and there’s not much you can do to stop it, but we are free. If you go to other countries, they don’t have it as good as we do people. You can thank a soldier for that, and those in the military reading this. I’m taking this moment and saying, Thank you! God bless!
Hello my brothers and sisters. Its me again... When you ask a biker, “Hey, why do you like to ride?” There’s a good possibility you will hear the word “Freedom“ somewhere in the sentence. That’s what it’s about. Freedom. Freedom of the open road. Freedom to escape your troubles. Freedom to let your hair down and feel the wind. Well..if you’ve got hair. I’m bald so, I feel ya. But freedom is going to be in the answer somewhere. Well folks, I’m going to step away from motorcycles in this article, if that’s okay with you. I got some things I want to talk about, and if what I got to say makes you mad, or you disagree with me. That’s perfectly fine. It’s called a free country and I’m using this moment to let my voice be heard. To be honest, I’m sick of the weak minded, I’m offended with everything under the sun, pussified mind set people have in this country. I’m sick of people telling me that my faith in God is wrong or they want to mock me and say I believe in fairytales. Whatever. I don’t see where my faith is bothering you. I’m not cramming it in your face. I’m not blasting you for not believing and I’m not dressing up in some jacked up unicorn outfit with my balls hanging out in front of your kids. I pray in my space. I read my bible in my own time. I’m not a finger pointing hypocrite telling you that you are going to hell. It’s not my place to judge your destination when you check out. I know and see other so called Christians do this, but I ain’t one of those. I love people. I respect people, but I’m not going to be pushed and you are not going to change my mind or teach my children your way. When they turn 18 and with God’s direction in helping me raise my kids, I hope they follow my path. But if they choose the other, I’ll pray for them and love them. That’s the job of being a

I’m all about my freedom, and one of my most favorite freedoms is owning a gun. Now folks, I’m not backing up an inch on this. People argue that folks like me don’t need weapons like an AR-15. God fearing people like me, don’t need military style weapons. Well listen up and listen good, when I tell you to read your rights. The second amendment states... “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” So, this might mean hunting guns to you, but no sir, not to me. We have an admindment to legally over throw our government if they over step their bounds. Don’t forget that. Next, how can we protect ourselves if we don’t have the same weapons as they do? If they send an army of men to take control over you and your family. Grandpa’s shotgun might help you take a few as you are going down, but if I’m going out of this world ‘cause of a tyrant government, you can bet your sweet a$$ I’m not going down with just a few. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a good ol’ boy and I don’t want to hurt nobody. I want to live in peace. I’m sure the Jews did too when them damn Nazi’s started going door to door to take their guns away. We learn from our history. We learn not to repeat from it’s mistakes. This younger generation is so hell bent on destroying our history and going head first in to socialism, but some of us listened to our Grandpas as they talked of wars and the great depression. Some of us learned not to back down an inch ‘cause if you give in a little, the government will charge past you ten miles! So, if you are wanting to raise your little white flags and dump your guns off to the government, go on right ahead. Us REAL AMERICAN MEN AND WOMEN will try to protect your dumba$$es if the sh*t hits the fan!

....FREEDOM If you learn anything from this article please keep this in your mind. Gun control is for law abiding citizens. Criminals don’t abide by the laws of the land. 911 is a number you call to get a count of the dead after the trouble has already happened. The police are nice to have around but they can’t appear out of thin air when the bad guys are already in your house. Keep your guns, protect your God given right to protect yourself and your family. I’m sure there’s a few loose cannons out there and God knows we don’t want any casualties, but you can’t fix stupid. Evil lives in the world. God put it in the book when he casted out Satan and his demons and he cast them to the world. It’s a sad fact of life. Walking in to a store that wants you to give up your right to protect yourself or fight back is sad and nutless. That just tells the criminals that we are an open market to be robbed or killed off like fish in a bucket. Screw that! If you are going to threaten my life, know I’m going to be a threat to yours. God bless America and I’ll chat with y’all next time... ride Free forever and ride Behind Barz.

Of Our Brother Story & Photos: Moe On 10-5-19, The Unspoken Sons MC held their 8th Annual Daytona Memorial Run, in remembrance of their fallen Brother, Daytona, whom was killed in a tragic accident when hit by a drunk driver on October 6th, 2011, at the young age of 24. He was killed while heading home on his Motorcycle after celebrating the Clubs 1st Anniversary. Although emotions continue to run high and tears still flow, the ride is held not to mourn his loss, but to celebrate his life and his legacy. Daytona was a quiet person and an incredible soul who left a lasting impression of love and peace. He was always there through thick and thin. Daytona was more than just a Club Brother, he was one of the Original 10, he was
family, he was blood and he will forever remain in the hearts of each one of his Club Brothers, his family and his friends. Each year, the Club rides in honor of Daytona, knowing that they will see him again on the other side. I’m sure the roar of the Motorcycles was heard throughout the streets of Heaven on October 5th and Daytona listened with a BIG smile on his face. RIP Brother! You are FOREVER missed... USSMC FOREVER

Pam Tillis
photos: Doobie
at Nash County Arts Council in Nashville, NC
19 September 19 Pam Tillis fell in love with music at an early age. Band, chorus, talent shows, church and the creative community of Nashville all helped to shape the young singer. Growing up, Pam was in a variety of bands, spanning from jazz and alternative country to top 40. She sang demos and lent her voice to many national jingles including Coke, Country Time Lemonade and a Coors Silver Bullet with country superstar, Alan Jackson. At the same time, Tillis worked as a staff writer for Elektra Asylum Publishing and later took a job writing for Warner Brothers Publishing, which resulted in her songs being recorded by some of the biggest names throughout all genres of music, including artists like Chaka Khan, Juice Newton, Dan Seals, Gloria Gaynor, Conway Twitty and the top ten “Someone Else’s Trouble Now “for Highway 101. Pam has performed on the stages of Broadway in New York, modeled on the pages of Glamour Magazine and is a proud member of The Grand Ole Opry. Some of Pam’s most memorable award moments are being a 3-time CMA award winner including the prestigious 1994’s Female Vocalist Of The Year Award, and being nominated multiple times for Grammy’s Best Female Country Vocal Performance in 1993 for “Maybe It Was Memphis, in 1996 for “Mi Vida Loca” and in 1998 for “All The Good Ones Are Gone”. Pam is also proud to be a 9-time Academy of Country Music Award nominee, a 2-time Grammy award winner and 6-time Grammy nominee, and an American Music Award’s nominee. Most recently, Pam has celebrated an IBMA award win in 2004 for Recorded Event Of The Year “Livin’ Lovin’ Losin’’ and most recently a 2012 IBMA Song Of The Year nomination for co-writing, Dale Ann Bradley’s “Somewhere South Of Crazy”. Though Pam has rolled easily with the tides and has drawn something from every new twist the ever-changing country music world has shown her, Pam Tillis has always insisted on writing and cutting songs that speak from the soul. With more than 30 singles charting on US Billboard charts, 10 studio albums including her favorite, the critically acclaimed 2002 “It’s All Relative” (a tribute to her father, the great Mel Tillis), and 3 other releases “Rhinestoned”, “Recollection” and “Just In Time For Christmas” off her own label, Stellar Cat Records. In 2012 Red River Entertainment released ‘Dos Divas’ a Country Duo album with fellow superstar Lorrie Morgan under the name Grits and Glamour. Whether it’s on the elaborate stages of the Grand Ole Opry or in the intimate setting of Nashville’s very own, Nash Arts Center, you get to experience that feeling of delight that comes from Pam Tillis singing exactly what she is meant to sing at that moment. I know we did. She talked a lot about her daddy, Mel Tillis, and some of the famous people she met along the way. After the show she stayed and met with everyone before leaving. Pam Tillis’ star continues to shine brightly in the 3rd decade of her career and is currently touring extensively on her own as well as with her “Grits And Glamour” tour partner, country star, Lorrie Morgan.

the good news! The Highest Quality of Grace When one has a motorcycle, it has all that is needed for it to operate and be a motorcycle. For it to be put into operation, it needs an operator. An operator who has been taught the skills needed to operate it and most of all, safely. Safety involves more than just skill, it involves protection. Wearing a leather jacket while riding gives a safeguard from an injury being worse. There are manufactures who put a lot of forethought into the design and quality of materials used. Example = when you try on a motorcycle leather jacket in the store and pick out your size, you will find that the sleeves are too long. Especially when you stand back and look at how it looks on you in the mirror. But when you sit on your bike and reach for the handlebars the sleeves are just right. My leather jacket weight is around 7 pounds. It is heavy, quality leather made to be a protective covering to safeguard my skin, if by chance, I slide on asphalt at 55 mph. I am thankful that the manufactures of my leather jacket put in the time and forethought to design it with quality. I graciously paid the high cost for it. It is a quality investment!
Rodger Duvall ~ Jesus Freak Thee Redeemed House biker Church
Don’t allow yourself to cheapen the grace that God had Jesus pay the ultimate price for. By allowing things you do that says, God You are not enough for me. Jesus You didn’t do enough. I need this sin or habit and not just the quality of You and you alone. “Therefore we also, since we are sourrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every sin which so easily ensnares us, and let’s ride for Christ with the endurance the road set before us with the most awesome quality of His forethought (Jesus), the author and safeguard of our faith” = GRACE.
Jesus paid the most highest cost ever! By allowing us to have the highest quality of Grace to safeguard us. I could have purchased a cheaper, less quality jacket made of imitation leather, and I would not have the right protection.
