Fascinating fun and activity in City’s programs Whether you are sitting back on the grass at the park listening to the great live music, strolling down the Rivers Trail, taking swimming lessons at your local outdoor pool or taking a class to learn a new skill, there is one thing that cannot be denied; living in the Kamloops has its perks. No matter what time of year it is, the City of Kamloops is full of fun stuff to do, see and learn thanks to the City of Kamloops Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services department. Their brand new fall activity guide has just hit the streets full of exciting and fascinating recreation, sports, arts and culture for children, youth, adults, and seniors. With classes happening all around the city in a variety of genres and subjects there is sure to be something in there for each and every member of your family. The best part about it is the City puts great thought into the classes that are offered each season and all are affordably priced and probably way cheaper than you would find elsewhere. They may even be free if you qualify for the City’s ARCH (Affordable Recreation for Community Health) Program. “There are many great programs starting this fall that will entice your artistic sense,” explains Cara Graden, arts, culture and heritage coordinator for the City of Kamloops. “We have a variety of very affordable arts classes all over the city taught by different professionals and artists in our community.” Most of the classes start in October but
