You! Jen Rose
Thank you for taking the time to be there, and for being the best customer a company could ever wish for.
There were also two special guests in attendance that I am very thankful for: LeMans Corporation Chairman Paul Langley, and President/CEO Mike Collins. Not only have they both been personal friends for many years, but they are currently the two leaders at LeMans, the parent company of Drag Specialties.
It was great to have some of my family members there with me to share in the experience. We are a family-owned and operated business and without the tireless work and support through the years by my wife Tracy and daughter Jen, I know this award would not have been possible. To them, and my great team working back home, thanks for all you do!
It was great to see a number of our current or past magazine advertisers, dealers, Drag Specialties sales reps, writers, photographers and other contributors in the audience on August 10th. To everyone who has been a customer or otherwise helped us publish our magazines these past 29 years, thank you so much. I invite you to join us in 2023 in celebrating our 30th anniversary year of publishing for LeMans Corporation.

Another long-time friend, Fred Fox, is always on my mind. Fred retired recently and couldn’t attend the Sturgis Rally, but there’s so much on my list of lifetime achievements I have him to thank for. After all, it was Fred who gave me the green light way back in 1993 to begin publishing the official dealer magazines for LeMans Corporation. I can’t even imagine how different my business would be today if it were not for his support all these years?
I
f you’ll indulge me for a moment, I wanted to take time to express my personal gratitude to everyone who made it possible for me to receive the 2022 Arlen Ness Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Sturgis Rally.
6 DRAG SPECIALTIES MAGAZINE ★ OCTOBER 2022 Publisher / Editor-in-Chief EMDE REPORT
To the Directors and staff at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame, I was very honored to receive this special award at your annual breakfast on August 10th at the Deadwood Lodge. My mom and dad were at the Rally in 1947, and now 75 years later comes this amazing sculpture by Jeff Decker with the Emde name on it. I know my folks would be proud about that.
Upon my return home from Sturgis, I immediately needed to start packing for the 2022 North American NVP Product Expo in Madison, Wisconsin. Due to the whole Covid pandemic, it had been three years since LeMans Corporation had last gathered its management, sales reps, vendor and dealers at the Monona Terrace convention center. The time had finally come to resume the successful and long-running bi-annual event. It could not have turned out better. Be sure to check out our extensive report of this year’s event starting on page 40. ■ Ride Safe!
D on Emde, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Drag Specialties Magazine, was this year’s recipient of the Arlen Ness Lifetime Achievement Award, presented during the Rally by the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame at an awards breakfast at the Deadwood Lodge. Emde was presented with a personalized trophy made by noted sculptor Jeff Decker. Others honored at the event included individual Hall of Fame inductions for Robin Bradley, Bill Davidson, Karen Davidson, Bob Kay, Carlo & Emma Lujan and Tom Seymour. The late-Ben Hardy was awarded the museum’s Kickstands Down award and the Motorcycle Riders Foundation received the 2022 Freedom Fighter award. ■

Bauman Takes Emotional Win at Port Royal Half-Mile
P arts Unlimited/Drag Specialties/Indian rider Briar Bauman scored his second straight victory at the Mission Port Royal Half-Mile presented by Appalachian Harley-Davidson thanks to a virtuoso performance at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania.
The two-time Mission SuperTwins presented by S&S Cycle champion appeared to be in peak form at the round in mid-July. The 22nd premier-class win of Bauman’s career carried some extra significance, coming on an evening in which the paddock earlier paid tribute to Production Twins rider Ryan Varnes by donning his number #68 for a memorial lap led by the late rider’s family. Varnes, 24, passed away after an on-track incident at the previous round at Weedsport Speedway in New York.
“Honestly, it’s an emotional day for the sport of flat track,” Bauman said. “I can’t thank everyone who participates in flat track enough right now. I can’t believe how strong the Varnes family is. All the fans were supporting us during our lap of honor. I don’t normally do burnouts, I don’t know if I’ve ever done one, but I just felt like we needed to do it. It was for Ryan.”

18 DRAG SPECIALTIES MAGAZINE ★ OCTOBER 2022 COVER STORY
The Step Up gives Pan America riders a stance that is a little lower than the other two Saddlemen seats for that bike, and it provides a more upright riding position.
he Pan America goes outside the traditional bounds of what one expects from Harley-David son, so why shouldn’t the seat be just as daring? Dealers at NVP Madison got an up-close look at the new Saddlemen Step Up seat for the Pan America, and the combination is already getting a great reception.
Once it’s mounted, the Step Up gives Pan America riders a stance that is a little lower than the other two Saddlemen seats for that bike, and it provides a more upright riding position. While details like Saddlemen’s Gel-Core Technology and Ultra-Foam ensure the Step Up is comfortable, it was also designed to help riders push the limits of what a bike can do. The ergonomics keep a rider locked in place, even when they’re doing more than simply cruising down the road. In other words, the Step Up is a high-performance, stunt-oriented seat that still manages to look right at home on an Adventure Touring bike.
A PAN AMERICA SEAT WITH STYLE AND COMFORT
T
While style and performance are important, Saddlemen knows that comfort is still a top consideration when it comes to choosing a seat. Inside the Step Up, Ultra-Foam and SaddleGel make sure a rider can stay on the road or trail, mile after mile, without discomfort.
So why adapt the Step Up for the Pan America, too? Actually, the team at Saddlemen started to get a lot of requests for a seat that would fit the Pan America without fitting in: riders wanted something unique. Between its styling and the customization options, the Step Up fit the bill.
Ultra-Foam provides the right amount of support and compliance, and its unique molding process creates an outer skin that is resistant to the elements. That means the foam is safely sealed away from water and dirt, so not only is it comfortable, but it’s durable, too. For Adventure Touring riders who might face anything from water crossings to mud, Ultra-Foam is a great choice.
Step UpStep Up
The Step Up has been a popular seller for Saddlemen since its introduction, but putting it on an Adventure Touring bike is a bold new fitment. Saddlemen actually offers two Adventure Touring seats already, but both of them are more typical for that slice of the market. The size, shape and split-channel design of those seats are what one would expect to find on the Pan America.
SEATS
Saddlemen’s custom seat program continues to grow in popularity thanks to its convenience and the ability to give riders the exact style they’re looking for. Choices range from something as simple as changing the color of the stitching to adding embroidery, so riders can do as much or as little as they want.
The Step Up, like every other seat in the custom seat program, has its own dedicated form. A diagram shows which parts of the seat can be customized, so all a dealer needs to do is note the customer’s choices for each part. Customers can choose the material for the chassis and accent panels, the color of the stitching, the stitching style and even the color of the stitched Saddlemen logo.
Custom embroidery is available, too. That option has been especially popular with clubs who want to add a logo to their seats, and it’s a great finishing touch for dealers who are building a custom bike.
Adding Saddlemen’s popular Step Up seat to Harley-Davidson’s Pan America is a bold new fitment, but riders on the Adventure bike wanted something different and Saddlemen answered the call.
When compared to a stock foam seat, a seat with Gel-Core Technology enables a rider to comfortably stay on the road up to 400 percent longer, while generating up to 92 percent less road shock and 50 percent less road vibration.
19OCTOBER 2022 ★ DRAG SPECIALTIES MAGAZINE
When it comes to turning heads, the Step Up does double duty. Not only does it give a Pan America a distinct new profile, but it also provides a perfect canvas for customization.
SaddleGel is at the heart of Saddlemen’s Gel-Core Technol ogy, which is engineered to dampen, divert and deflect energy from the road. SaddleGel and the Ultra-Foam team up to conform to the rider’s body, reducing pressure points and eliminating the “hot spots” that cause discomfort.
» Talk to your Drag rep to learn more about the new Step Up seat for the Pan America and the Saddlemen custom seat program. You can find all Step Up fitments in the FatBook.
While designed for spirited riding – even installed on the Pan America – the Step Up is also built for comfort thanks to Saddlemen’s Gel-Core Technology and Ultra-Foam.
Once the customization form has been filled out, the order is submitted to Drag Specialties like any other order, which is then forwarded to Saddlemen. The team at Saddlemen will provide the dealer with a price before the seat is built. When it’s finished, the Step Up ships to the dealer like any other order. ■

As noted, currently Vance & Hines offers the PCX technology for existing V&H Milwaukee-Eight exhaust systems. In all, 16 different part numbers have the new PCX technology. The new PCX technology also features stepped exhaust header design on the Power Duals to further boost lowand mid-range torque output by the Milwaukee-Eight engine. Again, Vance & Hines customers are treated to a best of both worlds scenario – more torque for more responsive acceleration, and cleaner emissions.
Vance & Hines’ exclusive PCX technology uses a high-flow double-matrix catalyst that, through careful engineering, actually improves torque delivery up to and through the mid-range rpm. Positioning the high-flow catalyst cartridge deeper into the exhaust system moves catalystgenerated heat further away from the on-board rider and passenger’s seating positions, offering improved comfort over a stock system. In addition, the new technology
Developed in-house by Vance & Hines’s experienced technicians, the PCX technology is featured within four existing and popular high-performance exhaust systems – Power Duals, Big Radius, Big Shots Staggered, and Short Shots Staggered. By placing the exhaust-monitoring catalyst cartridge at the rear portion of each V&H exhaust muffler, heat buildup near the rider and passenger is minimized for improved riding comfort. Full-length heat shields on all systems provide additional protection from radiating exhaust heat for rider and passenger as well.
22 DRAG SPECIALTIES MAGAZINE ★ OCTOBER 2022 PRODUCT SHOWCASE
While the primary purpose of the chamber catalyst cartridges is to scrub off harmful exhaust emissions (making the PCX systems fully EPA emissions compliant), they also were engineered to maintain maximum flow through the muffler body, which helps account for the gain in performance by all PCX systems. The major payoff is more low-end and mid-range torque, translating to improved acceleration for the motorcycle.
ance & Hines has been known to reveal new, and often times ground-breaking, products at the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. And, it was at this year’s event in South Dakota that rallygoers visiting Vance & Hines’ locations in Sturgis and at Black Hills Harley-Davidson in Rapid City, got a firsthand look at the company’s new-technology exhaust systems.

The new exhaust technology, termed Power Chamber Exhaust (PCX), features a chambered high-flow catalyst cartridge in each tuned muffler that regulates potential exhaust emissions while increasing the engine’s low- and mid-range torque output. The best of both worlds –cleaner air and exciting performance? You bet, and those PCX systems are available now from Drag Specialties.
Vance & Hines new PCX systems are not only designed to meet street emissions regulations, they’re also built to provide a nice boost in low-end and mid-range torque.

The penultimate round of the popular V-Twin racing series was not without some controversy, but there was still plenty to play for as the series headed to New Jersey Motorsports Park as this issue was going to press. There were two protagonists at the top of the standings riding two different brands of motorcycle and separated by just three points. That’s right. Three points. While Mission King of the Baggers Champion Kyle Wyman is now effectively out of the championship after he was dis qualified at the Brainerd International Raceway round when his factory Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Road Glide developed an oil leak on track, two remain tightly knitted at the top: Travis Wyman and Tyler O’Hara. And, it’s not only three points that separates Travis Wyman from O’Hara, but it’s also three points that separate HarleyDavidson from Indian in what is basically a winner-take-all battle for the 2022 KOTB title. To say there is no love lost between the two brands would be a gross understatement. So, what better place to settle things than on the racetrack.
But, let’s back up to the Brainerd round. The race, which was red-flagged and moved from the second race of the day to the second-to-the-last race of the day, was won by Roland Sands Design Indian rider Bobby Fong – his first feature race win of the year. And, he did it by making an incredible inside pass on Mission Foods/S&S Cycle/Indian Challenger Team’s O’Hara, who was in the lead.

The scene at Brainerd International Raceway with S&S Cycle/Indian’s Tyler O’Hara (#29) leading the field right before RSD/Indian’s Bobby Fong (#50) made an incredible inside pass to take the lead. Series points leader Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle’s Travis Wyman (#10) followed Fong through, overtaking O’Hara to an eventual second place finish. It was Fong’s first Big Twin feature race win of the season.

After Fong threaded the needle – a very large needle – Harley Screamin’ Eagle’s Travis Wyman followed him through, also overtaking O’Hara, who was quickly shuffled from first to third, with Wyman ending up second.
“I’m just thankful to ride a motorcycle,” Fong said. “A few months ago, my career was over, so I’m just thankful that my boss (he works a day job for Alpinestars) lets me do this. It’s been fun this year. It’s definitely been up and down, but, leaving the track today getting first, it’s definitely going to be a really good feeling. I definitely miss this. It’s good to be here. I’m looking forward to New Jersey. Just keep on riding this wave.” What remains promises to be thrilling, no matter the outcome.
At the previous round of the Mission King of the Baggers Championship at Laguna Seca, the race was won by Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle’s Kyle Wyman, with the defending class champion taking the lead early on and pulling away to ultimately win by a tick over three seconds. Not only did Roland Sands Design/Indian rider Bobby Fong walk away from the Brainerd round with the victory, he also won the three-lap Baggerdash-for-cashwinner-take-allMissionChallenge.

2022 MISSION KING
Many of the seats Bob Jr. has designed have gone on to be as classic as the ones his dad designed in the 1970s, like the Bare Bones, Silhouette and Stubs Spoiler.
The late Bob Sr. started LePera Motor cycle Seats in 1972, and his children Bob LePera Jr. and Christine LePera have been involved with the company since the 1980s. In fact, the two of them grew up learning the ins and outs of the business.
Of course, running a business for 50 years hasn’t always been easy. “I can remember back in the 1980s when economy-wise, things weren’t great, and my dad had to weather a lot of ups and downs,” recalls Bob Jr. “But he wasn’t afraid to work. I remember many years where we just didn’t see our dad. He’d be up at 5 or 5:30 a.m., and he’d get home that night at 11 p.m. When the few people he had working for him would leave, he would continue on by himself. He was wearing a lot of hats and he could do it all. I think that was the work ethic that was instilled from a very young age for him by his parents.”
Seats that Blend Traditional and Modern Styles
“Most everything we still do is done by hand, even still cutting some patterns by hand just like dad did back in the day,” Christine notes. “We pride ourselves on our product because every seat that goes out carries the LePera name and with it, our history.”
Staying true to the way Bob Sr. made seats at the company’s home in North Hollywood, California is also a way for Bob Jr. and Christine to feel a connection to their dad, who passed away in 2008. Since then, Bob Jr. has handled both design and marketing. Christine is the head of sales and customer relations, and she works tirelessly to maintain and grow LePera’s dealer network.
“I would complete seats and we would make bracket kits when we were young,” says Bob Jr. “We had Drag Specialties stencils and Christine and I would stencil boxes.”

Bob Jr. and Christine have both come a long way from stenciling boxes. Since the early 1990s, Bob Jr. has been LePera’s seat designer. His design work balances the traditional craftsmanship that has made LePera such an enduring brand with modern materials and design trends.
The man who started it all — Bob LePera Sr.
In high school, Bob Sr.’s parents wouldn’t let him get his Studebaker Lark reupholstered, so he learned how to do it himself. Bob had a natural talent for it, and soon, he was taking on customer jobs out of his parents’ garage. That led to a job working for famed drag racer Tony Nancy, whose upholstering projects ranged from drag cars to Hollywood. Today, Bob’s work can still be seen in the movie Bullitt starring Steven McQueen – he made the leather-wrapped steering wheels seen on the Ford Mustangs and Dodge Chargers used in the movie. Bob Sr. had a passion for anything with wheels, whether it was cars or bikes. When an opportunity came along for him to make 50 high-back chopper seats, Bob jumped at the chance to showcase his skills. LePera Motorcycle Seats was born.
Since the 1970s, LePera has built its seats on 16-gauge steel base plates, which provides a clean, tight fit. Once formed, the steel base plate is powder-coated and edged with a metal-reinforced vinyl protectant, then finished off with a carpeted bottom. LePera uses its own specially formulated high-density Marathon foam to give each seat its distinctive shape as well as plenty of comfort. ■

Bob Sr. developed the brand’s diamond and pleated stitch patterns in the early days of LePera. In a perfect blend of past meets present, those original stitch patterns can be seen on newer seats designed by Bob Jr. Some of the original seat designs by the older LePera are still popular today, too, such as the Cherokee, Baron and Signature Series.

From left: Christine LePera and her brother Bob LePera Jr. grew up in the family seat business, and are now the force behind the operation these days. For five decades, LePera Motorcycle Seats has offered riders comfort, quality and style. Bob Sr. passed away in 2008, but his legacy lives on.
In turn, their dad instilled that same work ethic in his children. While Bob Jr. and Christine were learning the LePera business, they were also learning the value of hard work and dedication.
Bob Jr. and Christine are actually the third generation of LePera’s to work with leather. Bob Sr. learned to sew leather while working at his parents’ leather and jewelry shop, where he made watchbands, belts and wallets.
What’s especially remarkable is that the Kodlin name has become so well-respected among North American dealers and riders alike, despite the fact the German brand’s parts have never been imported here on a large scale. THE EXPANSION OF AN ICONIC GERMAN BRAND
From left: Holger Mohr, Fred Kodlin and Len Kodlin. Holger and Len are the co-founders of Kodlin USA, which has teamed up with Drag Specialties to offer the Kodlin range of parts and accessories to dealers across the country.
After establishing the US branch of the company, the next step was partnering with Drag Specialties. “For us to work with the Drag team is a dream come true,” Mohr says. “It was always a part of our strategy. We always said we wanted to partner with Drag at some point. The time was right, and we’re really excited about that.”
Fred started riding at the age of 13, and he was still a teenager when he built his first motorcycle part – a
Kodlin was founded by Fred Kodlin in 1984, and its head quarters is in the small town of Borken, Germany. Fred is still the driving force behind the Kodlin brand in Europe, though his son Len is now heading up product design.
P lenty of dealers have already noticed that Kodlin USA products are now available from Drag Specialties – parts have been shipping since early May. While the Kodlin name is a new arrival in the FatBook, it’s a longstanding brand with a rich history and a strong reputation for style and quality. It’s no wonder dealers are excited about this addition to the Drag Specialties family.
Although he is based in Germany, Fred has travelled to the US countless times. Those trips include Daytona Bike Week and rides to the Sturgis Rally since the late 1980s. In 2021, Fred was inducted into the Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Not only was it a huge honor for Fred, but it was also notable because he is the first non-US citizen to be recognized with that honor. For a designer and builder who has always gone against the grain, it’s fitting that even his Hall of Fame induction was something that has never been done before.
KODLIN USA
The Kodlin name first came to the attention of riders in the US in the 1980s and ’90s, when Fred started entering his custom bikes in shows across the country. Over the years, he became known as an innovator of motorcycle design.
THE NEXT GENERATION
31OCTOBER 2022 ★ DRAG SPECIALTIES MAGAZINE
Over time, Fred’s son Len began taking on more and more of the design work at Kodlin. When the time was right to start Kodlin USA, it was a natural choice for Len to step into a leadership role; the next generation tackling the next stage of growth.
Bonanza handlebar for his Zündapp Supersport. Later, Fred completed an apprenticeship as a welder. You might think Fred’s path was heading straight for a career in the motorcycle industry, but he wasn’t quite there yet. Fred actually got a job working in heating, but it wasn’t long before he ditched the traditional job to follow his passion for motorcycles. He got his Master’s degree in vehicle construction and blacksmithing, then opened Kodlin with the goal of making unique parts that would stand out from the crowd.
Len designs products, while co-founder Holger Mohr takes care of the day-to-day operations at Kodlin USA, like product development, manufacturing, and market ing. Holger, who is the former president of Kuryakyn and Mustang Seats, has a wealth of experience and success in the “Lenindustry.isallabout design. He’s amazingly talented,” says Holger. “He has design in his DNA. He’s unbelievably fast. I’ve worked with a lot of designers in my life – and great ones – but I’ve never seen someone who is so talented and such a fast executor.”
Fred Kodlin’s long line of radical custom bikes and revolutionary parts and accessories include his 2004 masterpiece, the Shine, a showstopper of a build featuring hubless wheels, front and rear.
Of course, those riders would have to wait for Kodlin USA before having easy access to the company’s custom parts. In the meantime, though, Fred was staying busy with the operation in Germany. In addition to designing and manufacturing parts, Fred was also importing hundreds of Harley-Davidsons a year. He would customize them, then sell them to customers all over Europe.
Considering the work his dad has done, it’s no surprise Len inherited the same artistic ability and attention to detail that made the Kodlin name big in the first place. Growing up in the business meant that Len wasn’t just sketching parts and bike designs at a young age, he was also learning how to weld, work on bikes and even make things out of sheet metal. In addition to designing parts, Len is also an enthusiastic custom bike builder. In 2017, he was invited to join the “Michael Lichter Motorcycles as Art” exhibit at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. The custom bikes Fred used to show off in the United States got riders excited about Kodlin parts, but selling those same parts in the U.S. market just wasn’t practical at the time. “In order to be successful with a product line offered in the United States, you have to have a U.S. presence,” Mohr says. “You have to have inventory in the U.S., and you have to have product available in U.S. dollar pricing.”
Pricing was a big consideration when it came to establish ing Kodlin USA. Parts manufactured in Germany would be expensive by the time they reached the U.S. after paying import fees and shipping. Now, Kodlin USA solves that dilemma by offering products that are manufactured world-wide, including domestically, and having them in Holger Mohr was on-hand at the 2022 North American NVP Product Expo to introduce the Kodlin USA brand and range of parts to the collection of U.S. and Canadian sales reps.
Hubless front and rear wheels, hidden brake setups and secondary drive systems were among the innovations he showed off. Fred started winning – a lot – and riders wanted to know where they could get the same cool parts they saw on Fred’s customs.
As far as Kodlin USA is concerned, all those small dealerfocused goals make a big difference in growing the business.
A GROWING PARTS LIST
In addition to providing great products, Kodlin USA is also a way to build relationships with US dealers. When deal ers call Kodlin USA for customer support or installation instructions, they will likely wind up talking to technical advisor James Serasio. He is a PhD Master Technician, owned a motorcycle shop himself and worked for a Harley franchise in California. That means he understands what dealers and customers alike expect from a product as well as their expectations for the ease of installation and their interaction with a brand.
Kodlin USA’s range of parts and accessories include the 2-inch lower kit for the HarleyDavidson Pan America.
» Talk with your Drag rep about Kodlin USA parts or to discuss teaming up for events. You can find all of the products in the FatBook and at www.dragspecialties.com.
The design aesthetic is the result of blending European and American style trends, so U.S. riders get the best of both worlds. Holger sums it up with, “We found a way to blend design with quality and a competitive price point.” ■
When it comes to quality, Holger says that has been a hallmark of the Kodlin name since day one. “What you have in Europe, and especially in Germany, is that un compromisable focus on high-quality engineering and manufacturing,” he says. “There’s no compromise we would ever make. That is a benefit for the dealer—they will see minimal to no returns because our products don’t fail.”
When Kodlin USA started in 2020, most of the parts were for the Milwaukee Eight Softail, because the team at Kodlin saw a need for more quality aftermarket parts for those models. Today, the range of applications for Kodlin USA parts has expanded to include a wide range of motorcycles, including Touring models, the Sportster S and even the Pan America.
Additionally, Kodlin USA has just signed up “Brands That Shine” to work with the Drag Sales Team and the dealers in the field. No stranger to the LeMans group, Jessica Shine and Gunnar Heinemeyer are going to offer that onthe-ground support to help grow the dealer’s business with incremental sales driven by Kodlin USA products.
The list of Kodlin USA parts available through Drag Specialties is a long one, which is a testament to just how much the company has grown since putting down roots in 2020. While there’s a lot of variety – like lowering kits, seats, lighting products, body and control parts – there are two things that all of them have in common: quality and a very distinct aesthetic.
Kodlin USA’s Trackboard floorboards have fitments for a number of Harley-Davidson FL models. There are matching shifter peg, brake pedal and passenger pegs/mini boards available to complete the look.

t was just a few years ago that Cobra introduced the Neighbor Haters® line of slip-on mufflers for Harley-Davidson FL models. In that time, those mufflers have become a popular model for Cobra. The combination of great sound, performance, unique style, and an aggressive price point made them a desir able product for Bagger riders worldwide. The lifetime warranty helped too. Now, Cobra is introducing the next generation of Neighbor Haters, and while keeping to that original formula of success, Cobra has upped the game in significant ways. The good news is the new GEN2 Neighbor Haters do not replace the existing line of slip-ons. Those products (the original Neighbor Haters, 909, 909 Upper Cuts and Dual Cuts) continue on, having carved out a place in the mar ketplace. These GEN2 models are an extension of that popular line, and they add three new versions; each of which is a qualified manufacturer declared U.S. 50-State legal replacement part on all 2017-2022 Harley-Davidson FL Touring models. And they all have a customer friendly price “Earlypoint.on,when

“Look, we are all in the same boat and feel the pain of rising prices and unpredictable days ahead. That’s why we felt so compelled to develop, manufacture and offer these great slip-ons at the pre-Covid price levels,” said McCool. “These give dealers a real option for customers who now evaluate every purchase they make. This allows their customers the opportunity to have a high quality, great sounding and performing exhaust at an affordable price. And that’s good for all of us.”
The final GEN2 Neighbor Haters is a 4½-inch Upper Cut currently available in black only. The angle of the cut lines up with the line of the bags and perfectly fills the opening in the extended bags. It features a rolled tip and has an additional inner tip finished in gloss black. It too uses the 2¼-inch louvered core.

This muffler also features 2½-inch louvered cores (the original NH used a 2½-inch perforated core). The Cobra team developed the new cores to deliver that same popular NH sound. The best part of the core design is that it produces good power on the stock head pipes, but should be able to create even more when the rider decides to build more power with either a larger engine or standard industry hop-up parts.
COBRA’S NEW GEN2 NEIGHBOR HATERS
“I know the team thought I was nuts, and at first they were not convinced they could deliver the products the market needed at the low-to-mid $500 price points the customers demanded,” said Bussard. “But, they went to work, got really creative, and figured out a way we could manufacture these entirely in-house to get where we needed to be.”

Camron Bussard, our marketing and sales VP, came to us with the original product brief for the GEN2 Neighbor Haters, he set an extremely low-price target,” said McCool. “So, we did what we always do. Looked over his plans, nodded and told him he was crazy. We didn’t think at the time that we could produce the full featured, high-quality mufflers he spec’d at that price target.”
With Bussard’s prodding, Cobra felt they needed to create a feature-rich muffler at an entry-level price. The current economic situation has created on-going price increases across the board. In fact, the Cobra team was seeing raw material price increases in the 20 percent to 25 percent and higher range, and that put a lot of upward pressure on retail prices. The company thought the time was right for full-featured, premium mufflers offered at a consumerfriendly price point, and it decided to offer three new mufflers, not just one.
The 4½-inch round GEN2 Neighbor Haters have all the same features as the 4-inch, including the inner tips and the dual grooved outer tip. The key difference other than the larger diameter is that the 4½-inch muffler uses a 2¼inch louvered core.

The rear Cruisetec also has long alternating grooves that evenly distribute pressure across the tire carcass. V-Twins have gotten a lot more capable in recent years, and the Metzeler Cruisetec tire is ideal for riders who want a tire that can keep up with modern V-Twins. The Cruisetec profile is inspired by Metzeler’s sport-touring profiles, but it still has the robust styling needed to support the heavier V-Twins it was designed for. This crossover styling means the profile is steeper than that of a typical V-Twin tire, which results in improved handling and stability, whether that’s in a straight line or transitioning through the twisties.
hether a customer is looking for a reliable touring tire that looks good on any kind of bike – from mild to wild – or a performanceminded tire ideal for pushing a V-Twin to its limits, Metzeler has an option.
In all, the ME888 provides outstanding high-speed and low-speed stability as well as smooth handling, and those characteristics remain consistent throughout the life of the tire. That means touring riders can ride easy, knowing their tires are going to go the distance and remain consistent.
■
The Metzeler ME888 Ultra Marathon tire is a touring tire with an incredible number of sizes, meaning it can fit just about any kind of ride, right down to a custom build.
The ME888 is a touring tire designed to stand up to even those long-haul trips. Got a customer who’s heading cross-country? The ME888 is up for the challenge. Metzeler chose the design and compounds of the ME888 tires with an eye toward increased longevity as well as excellent performance in the wet. Touring tires have to be ready for the inevitable bad weather riders encounter, so the ME888 tires have a tread pattern that ensures a high level of water evacuation. At the same time, the tread pattern preserves wear uniformity, offering the best of both worlds.

egendary Country Western singer Buck Owens and latter-day pop star Janet Jackson each had hit songs titled, “Together Again.” Whichever version you prefer, it’s the perfect way to describe the atmosphere on August 18th at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison when LeMans Corporation’s bi-annual National Vendor Presentation (NVP) resumed after a three-year Covid hiatus. It was a great four-day reunion of friends and business associates as much as it was a dealer trade show or sales rep training program. A successful event in every way.
The NVPs began years ago as product training meetings just for Drag Specialties and Parts Unlimited reps. In recent years, however, Parts Canada’s President, James Danyluk and his team put a great effort into including their group, which led to a name change. The event now known as the North American NVP Product Expo saw a large contingent of Parts Canada management, sales reps and dealers.
The 8th annual Michelin Jam was as popular as ever, despite the sad reminder that Drag Specialties’ long time sales leader Jim Matchette would not be on stage. This year’s Jam was the first to be held since Jim’s passing in June of 2021. A toast was made during the night along with a Jim Matchette memorial T-shirt being worn by some band members.

The NVP format was virtually the same as in past years, with the first two days devoted to internal company meetings and product education seminars for the sales reps by many leading aftermarket manufacturers. Then, the Product Expo portion of the event for the dealers followed for the next two days with an expanded floorplan that took up much of two floors at the historic Monona Terrace Convention Center.

Another popular NVP after-hours event was the Meet & Greet reception. Although stormy weather forced the event to move inside the hall from its usual rooftop location, the food, refreshments and motorcycle displays carried on as always for the capacity crowd. A variety of motorcycles were displayed ranging from examples of vintage roadrace and custom motorcycles to some of the most successful of the current King of the Baggers and Bagger Racing League race bikes. The weather cleared up after the Meet & Greet had ended, which allowed another NVP tradition to continue. This year’s edition of the entertaining ICON stunt show was held in a pre-arranged area in downtown Madison. Impressive motorcycle stunts were performed by Jason Britton’s No Limits performance team as well as an entertaining competition involving numerous NVP participants aboard some small electric-powered bicycles.

Consistent, reliable bolt-on power is only a big-bore kit away thanks to S&S Cycle’s latest offering.
S&S Cycle’s latest big-bore kit is designed to take the 2017-2022 MilwaukeeEight 107-inch and 114-inch/117-inch engines up to a massive 129 and 132 cubic inches, respectively.

BIG-BORE KITS
A s long as there have been internal-combustion engines, riders have been making them bigger as a means of getting more power. And, since 1958, S&S Cycles has excelled in the world of Harley-Davidson performance, offering expertly engineered, user-friendly big-bore kits and other go-fast parts. That tradition continues with S&S’s latest big-bore kit, designed to take the 2017-2022 Milwaukee-Eight 107inch and 114-inch/117-inch engines up to a massive 129 and 132 cubic inches, respectively. If your customers are after an easy way to add major inches to their engines, these new 4.320-inch big-bore packages are the answer. For the 107 engine, this kit adds over 3/8-inch of bore diameter, which yields 22 more cubic inches of displacement. That’s more than 20 percent bigger! The 114 gains 18 inches, while the 117 adds 15 inches. On top of that, the kit’s forged pistons bump compression up from the mid-10s to 11.1:1, offering power gains across the rev range. S&S Cycles had to clear a number of hurdles to achieve the gaping 4.320-inch bore that these kits offer. The fact is, 4.320 inches is too big for the Milwaukee-Eight’s stock cylinders, since the cylinders don’t offer enough material to safely expand to that size. So, S&S manufactured its own jugs, sliding beefier cast-iron sleeves into its own cylinder castings and finishing them with a wrinkle-black powder coat that’s a dead match for the factory engine finish. While bumping up the bore size this much can sometimes require machining the crank cases or modifying the cylinder heads, that’s not needed with these kits. S&S was careful to work within the parameters of the stock bottom-end and specifically designed the piston-crowns to work with the factory heads to make installing this kit as straightforward as possible. Those helpful details are in addition to the fact that the kits already come with the appropriate head and base gaskets, and even custom cam-cover badges that display the new engine displacement. Power is nothing without reliability, so of course these kits have extensive dyno and onroad durability testing behind them. Another benefit to using these S&S kits is knowing that every component is coming from the same trusted source. Your techs and customers can rest easy knowing that critical specs like piston-tocylinder clearance and piston-ring end gap will be ready to go, right out of the box.
50 DRAG SPECIALTIES MAGAZINE ★ OCTOBER 2022 PRODUCT SHOWCASE
Bigger may be better, but it’s more than just size that makes these S&S kits winners. Since 1958, S&S has been manufacturing in America and incorporating the extra details that make installing and enjoying its engine parts a better experience for your customers. Big-bore kits are offered in a wrinkle-black finish, with or without high lighting, and are in stock now. ■

Impact test simulates hitting a big pothole or large piece of road debris. Radial-load test Side-load
Based in Germany, TÜV certification means the parts meet highquality manufacturing standards set by the third-party Technischer Überwachungsverein (Technical Inspection Association.) JASO is the Japanese Automotive Standards Organization and its 203-85 protocol sets parameters for a radial-fatigue test, torsion test, and radial-impact test.

P
Each wheel and brake-component design starts with an idea that’s conceptualized by the PM engineers. A computer model of the design is developed and evaluated using Finite Element Analysis, which virtually evaluates structural integrity. If the results look good, a prototype is pro duced and sent to the PM lab where it is thoroughly tested to stringent TÜV and JASO safety requirements.
The final test is the most jarring. The impact test uses PM’s version of a Medieval guillotine to simulate hitting a massive pothole or a big piece of road debris. A striker is dropped on the wheel, at which point the tire must retain pressure and the rim cannot crack.
So, the next time you’re admiring a set of PM wheels or recommending PM brake components to one of your customers, don’t forget the effort that went into making sure those parts are as durable and as safe as they can be.
The torsion test simulates the strain placed on a wheel when a highhorsepower, high-torque bike is power shifting at wide-open throttle and hitting the brakes to the point of skidding. This test is repeated 100,000 times, representing years of real-world use.
erformance Machine has a 50-year track record of bringing innovative designs and finishes to market, but underneath the eye-catching beauty of PM’s show-grade components is a foundation of certified quality. That’s because Performance Machine voluntarily subscribes to rigorous worldwide testing standards to ensure its products are strong and reliable.
■
For Performance Machine wheels, that testing includes four different pro cedures including the radial-load test, cornering test, torsion test and impact test. The radial-load test places the rim and tire against a 6-foot drum at more than double the maximum tire-load rating. The cornering test sees the wheel bolted to a rotating plate that side loads the hub to levels that exceed anything a wheel would experience in the real world.
Torsional-loadtesttest
Wheels are not the only parts submitted to the rigors of the PM in-house test lab. Brake system components, calipers, master cylinders and brake discs are put through intense scrutiny on the custom-built brake dyno as well.

Indeed, at first glance the Black Chrome Mid-Length looks like a bona fide Bagger racer’s exhaust system you’d see at the racetrack. The Mid-Length’s compact design tucks in nicely for increased cornering clearance, and the pounds it sheds from the bike’s stock exhaust system translates into added performance in terms of speed and handling.
The Black Chrome Mid-Length for Baggers is the same type of equal-length 2-into-1 design performance-packed exhaust system that many of the racers in Bagger Racing League and King of the Baggers competition use on their race bikes. Long available in stainless steel and chrome finishes, it’s now also available in a distinct Black Chrome finish.

Instead, a bike equipped with a Road Rage exhaust system is experienced by its rider. It’s been that way for more than 50 years with all Bassani exhaust systems, and with performance exhausts like the new Black Chrome Mid-Length for Harley-Davidson Baggers, it appears that the Bassani performance attitude will be around for many years to come.

As with previous Mid-Length Road Rage exhaust systems, the new Black Chrome features stepped header pipes (from 1¾ inches up to 17/8 inches diameter) feeding into a 2-into-1 tuned collector that purposely directs the exhaust flow into a tuned muffler that has a removable baffle and a new and reconfigured billet end cap. The included O2 ports with adapters and plugs enable further dyno tuning to get that mix just right. Bassani debuted the new Black Chrome Mid-Length system at the Born Free gathering near Irvine Lake in Southern California this past summer. The system was mounted to Fast Life Garage’s Performance Bagger (shown here) for display, and it drew quite a crowd dur ing the two-day event. Subsequent retail sales went “big time” according to Bassani.

F igurati Designs makes “jewelry-grade” accessories that are now available through Drag Specialties. These parts include swingarm-pivot covers, front-axle covers, and seat knobs made from high-quality materials and finishes, yielding an accessory that’s designed to last a lifetime, says company founder Kerry “Jewelry-grade”Cromer.
Figurati Designs’ front axle nut covers are machined from stainless steel and laser engraved with images such as flags, crosses, military logos and the company’s logo. They come with all tools and hardware needed for installation.
A little more research and development led Cromer to his final design, which uses jewelry grade 316L stainless steel, ball-bearing detents, and a rubber O-ring for a quick, secure install that effectively seals out moisture and dirt. That’s thoughtful, quality stuff, but the real magic is the artwork on the covers’ faces.
The native Georgian spent more than a decade as a jewelry wholesaler, traveling across America and around the world connecting jewelry makers and manufacturers with shops and buyers. It’s an unlikely background for someone entering the motorcycle after market, but it turned out to be the perfect foundation for Figurati, an Italian phrase that essentially translates to “imagine that.”
Cromer knew he could do better, and recognized that the flat discs had the potential to host some pretty cool designs. “The motifs I had in mind were too detailed for CNC machining, but I’d seen similar stuff done with a jewelry grade laser engraver,” says Cromer. So he reached out to some of his old contacts in the jewelry industry to see about turning his idea into a reality. He got linked up with some engineers who helped him produce his first prototypes.
“They’re easy to overlook, but once you see them they stand out,” he says.
Figurati Designs is all about imagining a new way to adorn riders’ motorcycles, and it all started in 2016 when Cromer took his first road trip on a Harley. “I’d always wanted to get into riding,” says Cromer, “so when a buddy with a couple of Harleys asked me if I wanted to ride up to upstate New York, I jumped at the chance.”
A Jewelry Brand for Bikes Imagine That!

isn’t a term Cromer throws around arbitrarily. “It means the detailing, the materials, are all next-level quality, because it’s made in a dedicated jewelry factory, by trained personnel using specialized equipment,” Cromer says. “‘Jewelry-grade’ also means longevity; the item is made to last decades. It’s meant to be an Cromerheirloom.”wouldknow.
As soon as Cromer got back from that trip he bought a brand-new Street Glide Special, and immediately started customizing it. He ran through the gamut of parts, but when he got down to the plain plugs that close off the swingarm pivot, he couldn’t find any suitable upgrades.
PARTS & ACCESSORIES
“The designs are laser engraved, just like you’d get on a wedding band, and the color is all hand-painted enamel. They have to be; a machine can’t do that kind of detailing,” he explains. “They’re literally painting that stuff using a magnifying glass, so the quality control is built right into the process.”
FIGURATI LLCDESIGNS
The result are noticeable. The motifs are intricate and crisp, and offered in a variety of designs ranging from crosses, to flags, to skulls, to military emblems. Every motif Figurati has is available across the product range, so your customers can create a matching set or mix it up.
Bikes came to Cromer late in life but motorcycling and Figurati Designs are Cromer’s full-time gig now. He runs the company with his wife, Jeannette, and business partners John and Tracey Ruggiero. “This is the coolest thing that has ever happened to me,” says Cromer. ■

THRASHIN’s existing Road Glide riser adapter is a great entry level way for your customers to change out their stock bars and risers. The only downside is that they’ll lose the fork-lock function, which the new top triple clamp remedies. With the new top triple, riders retain full fork-lock functionality thanks to an under-mount location for the (included) fork lock. Better yet, the lock sits behind a discreet spring-loaded access door, so when the key is out the top triple clamp has a clean, keyless appearance. This top triple also provides two locations for riser installation for further fine tuning. There are mounting holes in the stock spot and as well as a set that’s about 1 1/3 inches closer to the rider. Bushings aren’t needed when installing risers on this triple since they’re bolted directly to the top triple clamp, leading to better steering feedback and handling. And, since THRASHIN appreciates the details, they’ve included plates that cover the unused mounting holes so the triple tree’s clean look isn’t compromised. With the new top tree and gauge relocation kit, your customers with Road Glides have a new option for dialing in the cockpit on their bikes. These components are diligently designed and manufactured in America and backed by a company that’s as into riding as you and your customers. ■
The gauge relocation kit is several years in the making, and other than a riser-specific bracket, comes with every thing needed for installation. That includes a beautiful carbon-fiber gauge backing and precision-machined billet-aluminum gauge faces in anodized black or chrome.
If your customers have installed bar risers that make it hard for them to see their gauges, THRASHIN’s new gauge relocation kit is the solution. This rad new setup works with THRASHIN’s existing OG and Holeshot risers (with the appropriate bracket adapter) and allows riders to locate their gauges ahead of or behind the risers and adjust the gauge’s angle. It’s an innovative and stylish solution, and the kit’s flexibility opens the door to a variety of mounting positions so riders can dial in the right setup for their height and cockpit arrangement.
ince 2014 THRASHIN Supply has been cranking out quality parts and accessories for your customers’ V-Twins. The Edge grips are offered in several variations. In addition to contrast-cut and chrome finishes, they also come in two styles: the sleek Custom Contour and the extracomfortable Air Cushion. Like the mufflers, the Edge grips are backed by the Khrome Werks lifetime warranty. ■
The proprietary Eclipse finish is a high-temperature black chrome electroplated finish. What’s significant about it is that the finish is an identical match to the muffler used on the Blue Steel CVO. With the addition of the Tracer and Edge Eclipse mufflers, Khrome Werks has an up-to-date selection for CVO finishes.
In all, the HP-Plus mufflers are designed to offer both style and performance. The 16-gauge muffler bodies feature billet aluminum tips that can be rotated 360 degrees at 90-degree increments. That means the Tracer and Edge tips can be positioned exactly to a rider’s liking.
Khrome Werks produces all of its mufflers in the USA. Each one comes with the company’s lifetime warranty, so dealers and riders alike can be confident in its quality and customer service offered by Khrome Werks.
Dyno testing has shown a significant increase in both torque and horsepower, making these mufflers not just a big style enhancement, but a performance upgrade, too.
Khrome Werks has complementary grips for riders who want to add other custom touches to their bike. For example, Edge grips, which feature the same slash-cut styling as the Edge muffler tips, are now available for throttle-by-wire applications. K
F or Hogtunes, making a new part is about more than fitment and function.
Mounting the WBACL speaker adapters is easy thanks to a convenient opening in the back that is sized just right for fitting tools into. Additionally, these adapters don’t require any spacers, special tools, drilling or cutting. Each WBACL kit includes everything needed for installation, including the screws, wiring harness and even zip ties.
What makes this kit especially attractive is the ability to expand or upgrade it. Dealers have upsell options, and customers can get as much power and sound as they want. One option is to expand the Ultra Kit by adding an amplifier and speakers for fairing lowers or saddlebag lids, but the real star is the build-your-own approach.
■
LEFT: These adapters will accept all Wild Boar and Hogtunes 6½inch speakers, as well as most other aftermarket speakers of the same size.
The Wild Boar Air Cooled Lower (WBACL) 6½-inch lower speaker adapters (p/n 4405-0857) are designed for 2014 and newer Harley-Davidson Street Glide and Road Glide models equipped with OEM or aftermarket lower fairings. These adapters will accept all Wild Boar and Hogtunes 6½inch speakers, as well as most other aftermarket speakers of the same size. A recessed channel allows the speakers to mount flush for a gorgeous, clean look.
Already, the team at Wild Boar Audio has found that when riders are given the choice, the higher-powered system wins almost every time. This is true for all multi-amp kits, like the Whole Hog Kit, which can be upgraded from 900W to 1200W. Both the WBACL speaker adapters and the Wild Boar Audio Ultra Kit are in stock and ready so ship.
Another new part that demonstrates Hogtunes and Wild Boar Audio’s customer- and dealer-centric design style is the Wild Boar Audio Ultra Kit (p/n 4405-0499). This kit allows a four-speaker (two front and two rear), 600W system to be added to 2014 and newer Ultra Classics, and it arrives with everything needed for installation.
In case a customer needs to remove the lower fairings, the WBACL speaker adapters are made with molded brass inserts for the screws. That way, the speakers can be removed and reinstalled easily without damaging the molded plastic housing.
It’s also about creating a product with both the customer and dealer in mind. That means it should be high-quality, easy to install and – a big bonus for dealers – easy to upgrade. Making prod ucts that meet these requirements results in a lot of small details that add up to make a big difference, and those details can be seen in two new Wild Boar Audio products.
ABOVE and RIGHT: Wild Boar’s Air Cooled Lower 6½-inch lower speaker adapters are designed for 2014 and newer HarleyDavidson Street Glide and Road Glide models equipped with OEM or aftermarket lower fairings.
Using a convenient parts list, dealers can easily upsell customers from the 600W kit to an 800W system. There are only four part numbers required for this higher-powered audio system, including the front and rear speakers, two 400W amps and a wiring harness. Installation is the same as the Ultra Kit, making this an easy and affordable performance upgrade.

ACCEL’s plug wire design has been extensively endurance tested to ensure they continuously measured approximately 500 Ohms/ft. of electrical resistance. This is a value the ACCEL team determined to be an ideal performance specification for Twin Cam, M8 and other V-Twin ignition systems. For comparison, OEM plug wires tested with approximately five-times that resistance.
W ith oil changes, air filters and the like covered, your customers may feel they have all their standard maintenance handled, but what about all those miles on the same set of OEM spark plug wires?
The main issue that arises with stock Harley-Davidson plug wires as the miles tack on is a reduction in conductivity through increased resistance. The plug wires’ anatomy is susceptible to this resistance increase as use-hours add up, causing the coils to work harder to deliver the proper amount of energy to the spark plug, which is critical for performance and efficiency.

The ACCEL Motorcycle team not only recognized OEM plug wires left a lot to be desired, they developed a tested and proven solution in its plug wire sets using a spiral core design.
Upgraded Plug Wires for Harley-Davidsons
Compared to the OEM plug wire anatomy of crushed carbon and cord surrounded by insulation, ACCEL spiral core spark plug wires are constructed of a tried-and-true combination of materials – including a stainless-steel conductor –that promote consistent conductivity with high heat-resistant durability, providing efficient ignition performance for miles.

U pgrading a bike’s braking system doesn’t get any easier than the new Galfer USA Wraith Kit. Available for most Harley-Davidson Touring models, these kits have everything needed for a complete braking overhaul. And, since the Wraith Kit is designed for both street and track riding, it provides a high level of braking performance. Each Wraith Kit includes two of Galfer’s oversized WAVE rotors, two Nissin radial-mount calipers, two caliper relocation brackets and Galfer steel-braided brake lines. All necessary hardware is also included.
Customers can choose a Wraith Kit with either 12½-inch or 13-inch oversized rotors. Galfer’s oversized WAVE rotors are significantly larger than OEM rotors, which means they have more rotational surface and more bite on the pads. And, when combined with Galfer’s proprietary WAVE design, they dissipate heat efficiently for consistent, effective braking.
An Upgraded Braking Setup in One Box BRAKE PRODUCTS
The bigger size of the rotors requires a caliper relocation bracket – which is included in the Wraith Kit – but they still bolt on using the stock hub pattern. In all, it’s an extremely easy way to really amp up a Harley’s braking capabilities.
Galfer’s Wraith Kit is designed for both street and track riding, and provides a high level of performance.braking
Galfer’s steel-braided brake lines require less pressure at the lever, so riders can stop faster without having to work harder. At the same time, the stainless-steel construction prevents the brake lines from expanding, so braking remains consistent, even during aggressive riding. Each brake line has a clear PVC coating on top to prevent abrasion, which keeps everything looking good, too.

Performance Package
All of these camshafts were rigorously tested and developed using the same legendary techniques that have made Feuling a house hold name when it comes to performance. With any cam install, Feuling recommends replacing the inner cam bearing with a fullcompliment bearing for better durability.
» No matter what kind of builds your customers are doing, Feuling has a cam to suit their needs. To learn more about these products contact your Drag rep, flip open the FatBook and check out www.dragspecialties.com.
Feuling offers a full range of camshafts.
DISCLAIMER: NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN CALIFORNIA ON ANY POLLUTION CONTROLLED MOTOR VEHICLES
If riders are after a simple bolt-in cam, Feuling’s 405, 465, and 472 shafts are great options that respond well to slip-on or full exhaust systems and high-flow air filters. The 405 is a workhorse, producing more power across the rev range compared to stock, while the 465 has solid bottom-end grunt and substantial gains above 2,800 rpm. Finally, the 472 cam is Feuling’s recommendation for owners of 114-inch and 117-inch engines that want a little more performance than the 465 offers, but still want a simple bolt-in part.
Got a customer who’s swinging for the fence?
Feuling’s high-lift 508, 521, 538, and 592 cams offer progressively higher rungs on the performance ladder. These cams are a good fit for big-bore, high-compression builds, but will require upgraded valve springs. The 508 is quick revving and works great for highcompression 114-inch to 128-inch builds, while the 592 is a wild grind aimed at full engine builds that include oversize throttle bodies and ported cylinder heads.

Camshaft Collection Grinds for Every M8 Engine Build
F ew mods can change a motor’s behavior as effectively as a hot cam, and when it comes to camshafts for HarleyDavidson’s Milwaukee-Eight engines, Feuling has plenty! From easy bolt-in cams that offer a nice bump in performance to full-on race-grade shafts for no-holds-barred power output, Feuling has your customers covered.
