he Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is celebrating the successful delivery of a multitude of momentous and memorable Iftars and Suhoors, which were held across the emirate over the last few weeks. From the luxurious to the laid-back, the natural to the novel, Abu Dhabi’s residents and visitors looking to celebrate in authentic and culturally-rich venues were spoilt for choice by the capital’s huge choice of iconic cultural, hospitality and entertainment attractions. A few of the city’s Iftars took a walk on the wild side, with guests dining up-close and personal with nature. Al Ain Zoo hosted a unique and memorable experience with its Iftar with the Lions where, after a sunset tour around Al Ain Safari, guests dined with the ‘kings of the jungle’ over an extraordinary gastronomic setmenu experience on the edge of the lions’ territory. Over at Emirates Park Zoo, guests

Here, Ramadan was refined with a three-course Emirati-French fine dining Iftar experience in the chandeliered brasserie Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi, whilst its sister outlet, the laid-back Art Lounge, served a lighter à la carte Iftar overlooking the lights of the city. On Yas Island, the world’s first Warner Bros. Hotel, the WB™ Abu Dhabi, served a culinary journey of colourful cuisines and aromatic flavours of the Levant at the family-favourite Sidekicks. With fun for the entire family, Iftar featured meet-and-greets with WB™ character favourites such as Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Robin.
could break their fast with either of two safari stars at the Zoo’s Iftar with the Giraffes or Iftar with the Elephants. In addition to the atmospheric Iftar spread, both experiences offered free full-day admission to the Zoo to explore the colourful menagerie of wildlife, an up-close-and-personal feeding experience with the animals, an eclectic African drumming experience and educational tours and talks. Igniting the appetite of Abu Dhabi’s adventure-seekers, Pura Eco Retreat in Jebel Hafit Desert Park catered for Iftar and Suhoor around the campfire, complete with luxury glamping and authentic camping experiences at the base of Jebel Hafit mountain. The Hafit Foothills Lounge by Pura served a sensational Iftar and Suhoor under the stars, allowing for an authentic culinary experience in traditional style, surrounded by nature. Lovers of art and culture dined under the
Whether at the foot of its high-rises or sat along its shorelines, the emirate’s leading hotels made sure to have their guests seated with the best views of Abu Dhabi. The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal served Suhoor on its Grand Lawn, overlooking Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, whilst on the other side of the city, the Royal Yacht Restaurant took its guests on an idyllic one-hour Iftar cruise along the Corniche to view the shimmering skyline. Escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, though serving up panoramic views of downtown, the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas on Saadiyat Island hosted Suhoor on the Beach, an authentic and luxurious Bedouin-style experience offering a gourmet Arabic and French-style Suhoor Tea. Suhoor at Café by the Fountain at Emirates Palace was an intimate affair at one of Abu Dhabi’s most iconic locations with diners able to connect amidst the mesmerising water feature and enjoy authentic Arabic cuisine, a celebration set to the dulcet tones of traditional Oud performers. Over the last month, Abu Dhabi also witnessed several unique Suhoor experiences held by world-class luxury brands, including Cartier, Dolce & Gabbana and Boucheron, supported by DCT Abu Dhabi’s Retail Abu Dhabi, an industry platform that engages with brands to bring strategic and innovative campaigns and experiences to Abu Dhabi. Cartier created Al Manama, a Majlis-style concept in collaboration with the Bin Shabib Brothers, that paid homage to the longstanding relationship with the Middle East dating back to Jacques Cartier’s first visit to the region in 1912. Inaugurated by HE Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General for Tourism at DCT Abu Dhabi, the Suhoor nights were held between the 18 and 22 of April at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi’s cultural hub on Saadiyat Island. Dolce & Gabbana presented their Ramadan collection over Suhoor with an intimate celebration on 12 April at the St. Regis Abu Dhabi hotel, whilst the French luxury jewellery brand, Boucheron, hosted an intimate ladiesonly Suhoor on 14 April at the Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri. During the evening, Boucheron revealed its ‘Share More’ campaign, a compelling story told in three parts, inviting viewers to share the emotions and experiences of a group of women bound by sisterhood.

usit International, one of Thailand’s leading hotel and property development companies, will showcase its expanding portfolio of international properties, plus a wide range of new services and guest experiences, at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2022, held from 9 – 12 May at the Dubai World Trade Centre. During the event, Dusit executives will share details about Dusit’s group-wide response to the global pandemic, including how it has reimagined its unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality to deliver not only shortterm financial improvement, but also longerterm value creation by providing additional convenience, experience and value for guests. This includes the introduction of four new pillars of Dusit Graciousness, which respond directly to shifting consumer trends – Service (personalised and gracious), Well-Being (delivering wellness experiences beyond the spa), Locality (uniquely linking guests with the local community), and Sustainability (social, economic, and environmental) – and the subsequent roll-out of services, activities and experiences in each of these areas to enrich the stay experience and create meaningful and memorable moments at Dusit Hotels and Resorts worldwide. Dusit’s new group-wide wellness concept, Devarana Wellness, is just one exciting

development to emerge from this strategic approach. Specially designed to weave well-being elements throughout the entire stay experience, the new concept has been specially crafted to address guests’ most shared concerns – including destressing, detoxifying, and enjoying a deep restorative sleep – and includes, amongst others, the introduction of regular wellness activities such as yoga, meditation and sound bath sessions. Dusit has also introduced a new centralised corporate Customer Experience (CX) team tasked with ensuring that each of its properties is positioned to drive guest satisfaction by offering unique experiences beyond the standards and capabilities of the competition. Local collaborations and community-centric events and activities are central to this. Despite the challenging business environment, Dusit has continued to expand its operations globally during the pandemic. Over the past two years, the company has opened nine new properties, signed an additional nine, and leveraged its experience in operating hotels to introduce property management and training services for leading condominium developers in Thailand. Significant enhancements of its longestrunning properties, such as Dusit Thani Hua

curious youngster, I’ve always wanted to learn something new; I never stop asking questions,” she continued. Growing up in a not-so-great atmosphere is undoubtedly why she desired to aspire for a better start in life; it may sound implausible, but nothing is impossible for her. She feels that among the impossibilities, there is always a chance. Kate’s motivation and hobbies concentrate on magazine reading, television viewing, and listening to various motivating speakers. She is also interested in fashion and the creative sectors.
K
ate Aaliyah, a 19-year-old FilipinoEmirati, is a university student and model in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). She was reared in both Emirati and Filipino cultures, and her unique upbringing aided her in becoming a woman of grace and brilliance. UAE has been her home since she was a youngster. In this beautiful metropolis of Dubai, she honed her creativity, talents, and enthusiasm. A youthful dreamer keeps her soul alive in all facets of her life. She shapes her fate as a lady of experience and variety with the help of her Filipina mother. One of the most wonderful things she enjoys doing is learning something new, not just from books but also from life events, people around her, and the obstacles and rejections she faces in her daily life. Her pals are the people that inspire her to work harder in life and to keep dreaming despite adversities and disappointments. One of her top concerns is to be competent in the realm of work. According to Kate, studying in the UAE is a fun learning experience; nevertheless, many activities outside of the classroom have taught her a lot. “Being wise in life is essential to me. As a
“It fascinates me that if a person is talented and well-equipped, they can make a livelihood doing the most basic of tasks. It is a question of working smarter, not harder,” she stated. Modeling career Kate began her modeling career at 13 when she did simple photo shoots with her relatives in the Philippines. She found her passion at a young age as a humble girl. She also discovered networks in Dubai with the assistance of her mother. Encountered brilliant and well-known fashion business figures who inspired her to flourish as a model. “I began to learn more and apply it to my interest. I ultimately got to wear the gorgeous gowns designed by Michael Cinco; it was the pinnacle of my career, “She cheerfully stated. Kate stated that her encounter with Michael Cinco was a humbling event. She finds herself fortunate and happy to be able to wear a fantastic designer’s gown. The opportunities she has fueled her desire to be molded and formed. While studying, she mainly works in the fashion sector. Leading towards passion is far more important to her than pay. She continued, “What I enjoy most about the fashion industry is the freedom with which I can express my style, taste, and trends. It is incredibly adaptable, and it is an art form.”
“Everything occurs for a purpose,” she says, “so don’t question what’s going on in your life, live it the way you want to and just be grateful for things every day, and keep yourself humble, regardless of your title or occupation.” Dubai is a home “Where exactly is home? Home might be any place you feel secure. It could be a person, where your friends are, or Dubai.” Kate was reared in Dubai when she was eight months old when her family moved from the Philippines. And that was the most acceptable decision her mother ever made for her. As a result of Dubai’s rapid expansion, she has learned to keep up with what is happening worldwide and in technology. “My favorite aspect of Dubai is its diversity. It’s great because you get to meet so many different people from all around the world. The cuisine is fantastic, and the culture is intriguing to learn about, “She stated. Finally, when Dubai Vibes Magazine asked if she planned to settle permanently in Dubai, she said that one thing was sure: Dubai would always be a location where she built memories, and it is the city where she felt at home. She has no idea what her future holds, but she can never say goodbye to Dubai.
The ultimate dream As a young lady still trying to make a name for herself in the fashion world, she has minor challenges such as time management owing to a slew of activities. Nonetheless, she claims that she always focuses on getting the task done rather than fretting about the difficulties. Her main secret is staying on track. In addition to being a student and a fashion model, Kate has a great voice and is also a superb songwriter. When there is an event or a birthday celebration, her mother will constantly urge her to sing. She is also a fitness enthusiast, and her interests include meditation, exercise, sports, and swimming.

This impact keeps the spirit of Bastaki music alive and will continue to spread till the world is aware of it. Working in the music industry for many years, his enthusiasm for it never waned. It even generates the fire that burns within it. Music is more than a pastime to him; it is an interest. “I am grateful that music and singing allow me to interact with others and create new acquaintances.” Music is my hobby and source of amusement, and I am happy with what I do. His father, like his grandpa, has lived in the UAE for 50 years, he claims. Furthermore, his interactions with immigrants of all cultures, races, and nations inspired him to make incredible music. “My style is influenced by Arab, Turkish, Indian, Baluchi, and other painters.” “I work a lot, and very talented Bahraini arrangements and musicians did my most recent work, and I like working with them,” he said. “The working group may always come to a better decision,” he noted. Thanks to my beautiful friends and my band, who have always been at my side and supported me.” Arvin considers Dubai to be one of the finest places in the world, a place where he can fulfill his objectives and be surrounded by his family and wife.

he regarded his first job in Abu Dhabi with a popular restaurant to be his second home. He never felt like he was working there, he said. It was a fun-filled moment when every day was full of enjoyment for him. “I always loved customer service and was satisfied when a customer left happily after their meal,” he explained. “One of the memorable incidents was one of the guests who stayed in a hotel took my address. After a month, I received a courier from Switzerland. When I opened it, I couldn’t believe it was a full carton of Swiss chocolate and a greeting card.”
D
etermined and innovative Eldho M. Mathew is the current Brand Manager of the Nalan restaurant company in Dubai. His experiences in hotel management shaped him into a standard-bearer and role model in the Food and Beverage (F&B) business. This individual feels that striving to be inventive and trying to delight visitors and empower staff may result in a high level of guest happiness. At 39, Eldo has already demonstrated his abilities and knowledge in the profession. And after living in Dubai for 17 years, he understood the sector inside and out. His educational background and unquestionable qualifications shaped his career. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in hotel management. He began his career as a management trainee and then spent five years working in various hotels and historical resorts in India before going to Dubai. “I arrived in the UAE in 2005 and began my work as a F&B supervisor at Indian Palace, an Emirati award-winning restaurant. I served there for six hard years, and it was a fantastic learning experience for me,” he remarked. He also stated that one of his biggest strengths is how he impresses and treats his guests with the appropriate degree of hospitality. It’s a skill he’ll never lose and quite proud of. Secret of success “I had a low beginning. I am highly passionate about customer service and began working as a cafeteria assistant before graduating. I am grateful that I can enjoy every minute in the field where I have established myself.” He kept growing and learning from his errors. As a result, when he initially came to the UAE,
After six years, he left India Palace to work as an outlet manager for Lulu Group’s Tablez. He worked as a manager for their in-house brand, Peppermill. During his seven years with the business, he was involved in the pre-opening of six different shops in Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. According to him, he had the opportunity to work with excellent leaders at Tablez, which aided him in becoming a better manager and developing his confidence not just at work but also in life. After seven years, he resigned from his position and attempted something new on his own. “I joined as a working partner with an Emirati for a Pakistani concept in Abu Dhabi. The business was going very well by the time covid came, and it was a difficult moment where the entire globe was suffering, which affected our company as a whole well,” he continued. Eldo was a dedicated person in life; his cheerful demeanor is one of his talents, so he appears young even though his profession requires a lot of responsibility. When questioned about his success secret, he told Dubai Vibes Magazine that hardships are bridges to success. He also stated that “Struggle exists in every sector; I feel that if there are no obstacles, there
would be no progress; if we stay in our comfort zone, we will never advance. We should constantly take risks and pursue our ambitions. For me, day-to-day operational concerns were not struggles but challenges, and each day brought a new learning experience.” This man has been through a lot, yet he always values connections. He feels that his family and friends will always be there for him. He recalled how, when he was jobless for eight months in Dubai while pursuing his dream business, his family and friends were there for him. They were assigned to be Eldo’s brace frontline. Dubai remarkable life Eldo saw the UAE as a country of opportunity; anybody with a burning desire and a clear vision could thrive here. On the other side, he defines Dubai as an emirate with the most attractive areas, such as Jumeirah. He believes that Dubai is the perfect place for a dreamer who aims to be the best since it respects everyone regardless of color, country, gender, or socioeconomic class. His unforgettable Dubai experiences will live on in his heart forever. Since the city is so crowded, he makes sure that his days are always productive. “I work 12 hours a day, five days a week. I work out for 2 hours; I make time for reading at least half an hour every day, primarily motivational and leadership books. My all-time favorite book was Robin Sharma’s the monk who sold his Ferrari, Family wisdom and the leader with no title.” Lastly, “My advice to newcomers to the hospitality industry is to be enthusiastic and work hard, constantly analyze your performance and career advancement, be open-minded, embrace change, and approach problems with solutions. Then opportunity will come your way.”

The centre has two key personnel: Miss Hiyas H. Nora, an expert in auditoryvisual integration, and Miss Doaa Farghaly, a STEAM expert. Engr. Li’s knowledge in robotics for autism is a significant boost to integrating the designed lesson inside the classroom into STEAM activities. This approach helps kids with autism to conquer challenges in particular and enjoy the engagement with other kids at school. Apart from having interactive teachers, they also have robot assistant teachers to facilitate the required modified lessons for every child. ‘Parent-in-denial’ Engr. She admits that one of the issues parents with a special child faces is financial constraints. Parents would think that a centre for kids with autism comes with a huge amount. But in reality, there are still centres that offer a high standard of service at an affordable cost, one of which is the QAT Kid’s Development Centre.

and Maxcare Healthcare in India. Most of his expertise has been in the healthcare sector, where he has managed several strategic projects involving expansion, new streams, new products, and new clinics and hospitals. These earlier experiences have served him well in his current position as an operations officer. His abilities are knowledge and enthusiasm, and these values have the potential to have a significant effect on society. “I desire to affect the well-being of society and influence people in a way that may benefit humanity and a health system that serves everyone, including the poorest and most vulnerable, and offers the great majority of services a person needs to stay healthy,” Vikas explained.
M
any individuals believe that every ability that a person might have is fostered rather than natured. But, for some reason, Vikas Katoch, a 37-year-old Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Right Health Holdings, has always had an entrepreneurial mentality, and everything he does has its plan. For many young professionals, starting everything from scratch is challenging. They view it technically as a challenge. On the other hand, Vikas is passionate about making, shaping, and building things from the ground up. This drive has led him to work in financial and strategic positions for over two decades. His experiences taught him to be appreciative and to develop his innovations. India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) aided him in becoming an intelligent person. “As COO of Right Health, I am fortunate to be connected with several great start-ups in my two favorite countries (India and the UAE).” Vikas earned his bachelor’s degree in finance in India and Australia, preparing him to be an analytical and tactical expert. According to him, the two things he enjoys the most are people and numbers. He stated that he enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Past, Present, and Future Starting a career like everyone else is not simple, especially in India, where educated and well-equipped individuals compete for the same post. Despite his trials and tribulations, Vikas never gives up. In the past, he was associated with Foundation Holdings, an investment firm, VPS Healthcare,
In the noble healthcare sector, he thought that servant leadership led to love. Vikas’s enthusiasm for people never ends when he serves them; he always ensures that each service is a kind of support with love. This charitable man feels that spreading happiness and continuing to serve people in whatever manner he can make a significant difference in the world. His ultimate goal is to secure the future of his family. Vikas was hoping for greater chances and a better yesterday. “I think that the ultimate objective of all goals is happiness,” he continues, “and we must continue to pursue what we love.” Work-Life Integration Aside from being a COO and a businessman, Vikas is also a generous philanthropist. He used to undertake voluntary work and create life and work as a team. His deeds link and network everybody in the circle, so
the individuals he encounters are constantly inspired. “Rather than work-life balance or life after work, I believe in the notion of Work-Life Integration.” Volunteering is a terrific way to stay sociable and make new friends. “Encouraging others to volunteer for social causes helps them de-stress and commit socially,” he explained. Furthermore, his passion is to impact society’s well-being and influence others in such a manner that he may assist humanity and the health system reach everyone. “I think that everyone deserves to be in excellent health,” he continued. This is my philosophy, and I live by it in business, managing people, and my personal life.” Despite being a highly positive person, Vikas has many hardships and difficulties in life, despite the excellent fortune he obtains. When questioned about his problems, he told Dubai Vibes Magazine that he had had numerous ups and downs. Born into a lowincome family and raised by a single mother. “I am proud of that fact, and her narrative of tenacity and devotion has shaped who I am now.” “I am fortunate to have an excellent family, a strong mother and wife, and a kind kid. They are my delight in life and will always be my strength.” In terms of work, he stated that every firm faces unique challenges and must learn how to overcome obstacles and develop tactics that would help the company flourish.

CENTERFOLD
“If the strategy fails, modify the plan but never the aim.”
Dubai Life Vikas has been in Dubai since 2015, and he believes it is unquestionably the worldwide destination for ambitious individuals. Many people relocate to Dubai in search of changes that will improve their jobs and, as a result, their lives. “I see Dubai as a place of opportunity only because of the UAE’s imaginative rulers.” It is by far the safest and most welcoming city. “The country never ceases to amaze us with its measures for the welfare of its residents, both natives, and expats,” he remarked. Finally, Vikas regarded Dubai as a global city that constantly expands and offers the most diverse living environment. The emirates prioritize the safety of their citizens. “You may go around freely at any time of day or night without fear of being hurt, mugged, or disturbed by anyone.” While there are tales of rags to riches in Dubai, there are also tales of recovering misplaced phones and wallets. It’s only in Dubai!”

He used to respond to several occurrences in over 150 government agencies and public sectors as part of his employment. He also mentioned: “My day-to-day work is to assist corporations worldwide in investigating security breaches and hacking operations, including nation-state attacks and high-profile individual instances. We also assist businesses in becoming more cyber resilient and improving their security posture in response to the most recent threats.”

enzon Cruz, a Filipino native and world-renowned Cybersecurity Pundit is making waves in threat intelligence and security consulting.
This 30-year-old digital safeguarding specialist has been in the industry for numerous years and is a trainer for several firms and professionals worldwide. Renzon is currently employed as a Principal Consultant of Digital Forensics and Incident Response at Unit 42, Palo Alto Networks’ top security team. Before this employment, he worked in several sectors in the Philippines as a cybersecurity specialist. He joined a multinational financial institution, big tech, supply chain services, and a legal firm. During these encounters, he was able to further develop and cultivate his talents with the support of his discoveries and what he learned from his surroundings. Renzon’s chosen area is an industry that is constantly growing, so it is a never-ending learning industry. As the digital world progresses in all of its forms, the cybersecurity world meets new problems in today’s circumstances. “The problem with cybersecurity is that you can never stop learning. Technology is proliferating that you miss so much if you stop working even for a few days. Every day, some firms get hacked, and you must stay up to date on the newest news and trends, “ he stated.

He said, “Dubai is a progressive city since it is always updating regulations to make the lives of expats easier for everyone, regardless of differences.” “I also appreciate how easily accessible transit, shopping, food, and restaurants are here. Most of these activities are possible with the help of an app, which allows you to buy whatever you want and have it delivered directly to your door in a matter of minutes.”
The most fulfilling aspect of his job, he says, is that the team can assist in making the world a better place. He was intrigued by the fact that their job entailed examining high-profile cases.
Renzon told Dubai Vibes Magazine that his favorite destination in Dubai is his house in the Jumeirah Lake Towers region, where he enjoys sitting at home and reading books on his balcony with a lake view.
“The interesting thing is that there were days when I worked on numerous engagements, and after a few days, our work was published in the press, and I was like, “Oh hey, I was part of the team who solved that case,” he added happily.
His difficulties lead to his triumph
Digitally confident with a heart Aside from his employment as a cybersecurity specialist, he enjoys sharing his expertise on the topics he knows. As a result of this interest, he co-founded GuideM, a prominent cybersecurity training company located in the Philippines that serves more than 15 nations. “I love sharing my knowledge with a wider audience,” Renzo said. “That’s why I’ve been invited as a speaker to several international hacking conferences, like DefCon (Las Vegas, Nevada), BSides London (UK), BSides Doha (Qatar), NorthSec (Montreal, Canada), BSides Vancouver (Canada), and ROOTCON (Philippines),” he said.
Most of Renzo’s loved ones are separated from him. His fiancée resides in Canada, while his family is in the Philippines. Homesickness affects him at first, mainly because he is close to his parents and family members. “During my first several months away from home, I battled with being alone. There were times when certain family members became ill, and I couldn’t do much to help them,” he said. “My friends, who have endured both good times and bad, and my fiancé, who believes in me always, have contributed to helping me overcome my challenges.” And now, after Dubai, he intends to live in Canada with his fiancée, and the rest is history.
Renzon’s advocacy in this area of work has been to educate people about cybersecurity to encourage peaceful and harmonious use of digital platforms for communications and businesses. He told Dubai Vibes Magazine that in his spare time, he spends his time establishing communities, assisting people with interviews, and monitoring individuals to help them land their ideal employment. “My ambition is to assist more ambitious members of the cybersecurity community. Increase awareness of the risks we face as we enter the digital domain,” he stated.

y motto will be in one word onlyExcellence – Because to achieve excellence, you must be on the ball and focused every day, and you must offer strength and energy to your team to push them to do their best.” Mickael Chevalier is Revier Dubai’s French General Manager. He has been in the middle for many years, enjoying his stay and being driven by the surroundings. It takes time for a man from Europe to acclimate to a country he is unfamiliar with at first. Mikael’s first job was in France in Normandie, where he worked at Hotel du Golf in the premium brand Lucien Barriere, which is known for luxury hotels and casinos. After a while, he traveled to Paris to serve his mandatory military service in the Navy. After serving his nation, he opted to work with Domaine de Divonne, located near the Swiss border. Even though the fine dining restaurant he works in has only been in business for a year, they have already received its first Michelin star. “When I first moved to Geneva, I was lucky to begin my career with two Michelin stars at the Noga Hilton, under Jean Pierre Fantoni, the Best Director in France in 1991, Philippe Jourdain in culinary in 1993, and Eric Duret, the world’s number two sommelier.” “I then opened the Park Des Eaux Vive and later the Mandarin Oriental Geneva,” he explained.
Middle east journey Mickael has spent 16 years in the Middle East, including five years in Saudi Arabia. He formerly worked at Movenpick Jumeirah Taj and The Ritz-Carlton. His enthusiasm will always drive his drive and strength in the hospitality industry. “When I was a kid, I wanted to be a chef, but I couldn’t choose when I was in Management School in France. So I flipped a coin, and the commercial side won, but my heart is still in the kitchen,” he says. As the most recent General Manager, his responsibility is to coach his employees and serve as a role model to his affiliates to guide his team. Mickael stated that he enjoys his present job because of the memories he has made with his visitors. His work’s most rewarding aspect is its varied assets. He believes that maximum visitor pleasure is achieved when all key characteristics such as efficiency, authenticity, and simplicity are utilized. “I work a lot of hours because I’m a perfectionist because of my history and education, and I don’t consider my work to be just labor.” If you are enthusiastic about what you do, work is just where you want to engage
with people and offer them an experience, and when they leave satisfied and say thank you, and we will be back, the feeling you have is priceless.” “I feel that the visitors should come first. “These ideals are the cause for every hotel’s longevity and success, wherever it is, at any time, and across diverse cultures and economies,” he stated. Adversity creates possibilities Mikael always views his difficulties as challenges. One of the most challenging tasks he has daily is determining how to meet and surpass the expectations and needs of his visitors. It is also a challenge to be more inventive in the services that the hotel can provide while also energizing the employees to always be on the ball. According to him, to retain the hotel’s image and provide happiness to its guests, “first and foremost, you and your staff must measure where you are now standing in terms of service delivery and quality.” When you’ve identified all of the difficulties, you tackle them one at a time in tiny stages, but you’re still going ahead.” He also stated that being at Revier Dubai is quite refreshing for him. Amid Dubai, he discovered a tiny bit of Switzerland. Although Switzerland is his second home, he prefers the lively metropolis of Dubai.

Struggles enable dreams to come true
Sabrina is the owner of PR and communication consultancies in Dubai and the United Kingdom, in addition to landing a spot on the world’s greatest show. She was the International PR and Brand Manager at MS Fashion in Amsterdam, the Communication Manager at World Cancer Research Fund, the PR Advisor at Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances, and the PR and Communication Manager at the InterContinental Amstel in Amsterdam, and the Press Officer at Stage Entertainment.
Sabrina came to Dubai without a local network or a black book of media connections. The job application procedure proved to be quite difficult for her. The competition was tough, and she was turned down multiple times.
Dubai journey Sabrina is currently living in Dubai for five years now, and she has wanted to work with Expo 2020 Dubai since she found out she would be going there with her family. Although the route on this trip was not easy for her, she persevered and finally landed a job with the Expo 2020 Dubai Communications Team. According to her, her social skills have significantly influenced her present profession. Her passion for mingling, organizing, and communicating led her to a career in communications.
A
woman from the Netherlands has made a name for herself in the vast world of media, events, and public relations (PR). Sabrina Schouw, an expat in the UAE, worked as the International Media Manager for Expo 2020 Dubai.
“It has been an incredible opportunity to work with more than 200 stakeholders of all countries, meet new people every day, and learn about cultures.” “The job was demanding, tough, and took over my life for eight months, but most importantly, it was gratifying,” Sabrina said. “I particularly loved the fast-paced, lively, and brightwork atmosphere of Expo 2020 Dubai,” she continued. Being a part of the incredible Expo Comms Team, which supported one another through the good and bad times, has been a highlight of my career.”
She also said that it was pretty difficult for her, but she did not allow this to stop her. She persisted and sent out several applications, submitted her curriculum vitae to various employment boards, attended networking events to meet new people, and took freelance gigs. Her tenacity led her to the most excellent chance despite her hardships. With the help of her spouse and close friends, she acquired the position she desired. Her guiding concept is that “to be successful in this field, you need a lot of dedication, tenacity, and energy.” Keeping your energy levels high and performing to the best of your ability might be difficult. Another critical factor is adaptability. Working in the Middle East might be difficult for someone who loves to maintain control.” However, she claims that Dubai has been kind to her. The city has so much to offer; she enjoys the diversity of people and that people of all backgrounds can live happily together. “My children also learn about diverse cultures at school, which is amazing.” “Expo is yet another fantastic illustration of this variety,” she continues. When Dubai Vibes Magazine asked her for advice on how to succeed in the future, she stated that the key to success is to remain persistent.
This stunning 42-year-old woman of power was married to another Dutchie and a mother of two. Her family has lived in Dubai for five years and has been living overseas for eight years.
