P O I N T S O F L I G H T F O U N D AT I O N Designs to unite for a better world. Today’s rapidly globalizing economy has put pressure on governments and businesses to do more with less. The Points of Light Foundation was created—as an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization— to change the world by empowering people and equipping them to take action. A catalyst and incubator, Points of Light has spawned a variety of organizations, events, and programs to realize their vision locally, nationally, and around the globe. In addition to desiring a fresh take on their original corporate identity, they were looking for the design of brand architecture to help frame a growing and evolving outreach. A new identity system was created to provide a platform of connectivity between Points of Light and myriad offshoots, including HandsOn Network, America’s largest volunteer network.
