MOM BRANDS A simplified design for a broader vision. As a family founded, privately held company, Malt-O-Meal was built based on making values connections and building relationships—and a belief that a good breakfast is the foundation of good days. Malt-O-Meal was started in 1919 by a man who wanted a better tasting breakfast. Over time, the enterprise had grown from a single hot cereal recipe to a dozen brands strong. This corporate brand revitalization began with a name change to MOM Brands, embracing what was an acronym and celebrating a sense of culture and personality through identity.
