With the sun shining and flowers blossoming, it is the perfect time to start planning your picnics in the park and al fresco dining in the garden. Butterflied Leg of Lamb

This boneless joint is the very best part of the lamb leg with the shank, chump and bone removed. Delicious simply roasted ‘Low n Slow’ or barbecued, it cooks beautifully and quickly. The joint comes as a minimum 600g joint and serves 2-3. For a delicious meal try marinating in fresh herbs, sea salt and olive oil before cooking.

Trimmed Rack of Lamb Few cuts of meat hit the sweet spot between looking impressive with extreme ease of cooking as this handsome Rack of Lamb. Cut from the prime part of the loin, our butchers trim this to avoid any waste and to maximise the visual appeal. The fat plays a crucial role in keeping it moist and succulent when cooked (we recommend browning it quickly in a pan, then roast until still just pink in the middle), and also in carrying the wonderful flavour. Jonny Crickmore imported his herd of red and white Montbeliarde cow's from small French alpine farms, and they now graze the lush meadows of Stow Fen where Jonny makes this fabulous cheese in small batches from raw milk. One of our oldest British puddings Lemon Posset deserves a revival. In medieval times Posset was a milky drink with alcohol or citrus added which resulted in the milk curdling and thickening. Over the centuries posset became more of a dessert with the addition of ground almonds, egg yolks etc. Ours is simply made with cream, sugar and lemon and is pure lemony heaven. Panna Cotta meaning "cooked cream" in Italian is an Italian dessert which hails from the Piedmont region of Italy. It's basically sweetened cooked cream. Ours is made using organic double cream, sugar and vanilla with a little gelatine which results in a loose set. Just turn out of their pots to make a wonderful dinner party cheat served with berries on the side or for just treating yourself. Thursday, Friday & Saturday deliveries only.
