PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Hello Winter!
As we approach the new year, we look back at 2022 and wish to thank all of our many program participants and community members for their support of Dunbar Community Centre! Thank you also to the members of the Dunbar Community Centre Association, Centre staff and volunteers for their hard work this year bringing back programs and services after close to two years of unsettled times due to the pandemic.
We were thrilled to bring back our annual Holiday Craft Fair after a two year hiatus. Thank you to all of our vendors and sponsors and to those who attended!
January will see the return of our much loved lecture series presented by instructors from Langara College. Past subjects have included Mad Men and Wicked Women. We are pleased to present a winter lineup of ‘It’s the End of the World As We Know It.’
We look forward to welcoming children to our Spring Break Camps happening this March and planning will soon be underway for the Summer programs!
Keep an eye on our website where we post about upcoming events and to see program offerings at dunbarcentre.org/ dunbar. We are currently undergoing a website refresh and look forward to presenting the improved site soon!
If you have program suggestions or are interested in volunteering at the Centre please email us at dunbarcca@gmail.com.
