PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Summer 2022 It’s been a slow start to much anticipated Spring weather, and our bees are ready for all the flower blooms, but we are full of the promise of the positive mindset Spring energy and renewal sparks, and of course, summer programming! We are so pleased to be able to offer our summer programming lineup. Summer daycamps are popular this year and we look forward to welcoming our participants. Thanks so much to all the youth for volunteering their time assisting with Dunbar’s programs and special events, such as Day Camps, Easter, and Salmonberry Days Fair. This summer, we have created more gym space for youth to participate in. Check out the brochure to see which days to come in for either youth volleyball, basketball, or badminton. Thank you to Stong’s for their continuing support and generosity in inspiring community events at the DCC. We have completed our seniors needs assessment and are currently reviewing how we can implement the results to better serve patrons and program offerings. We appreciate your feedback so we can continue working on offering programming that is diverse and inclusive. For any registration questions about existing programs, please contact centre staff at: 604222-6060. Visit us at dunbarcentre.org and keep in touch with us on Facebook: facebook.com/ DunbarCentre, Twitter: twitter.com/DunbarCC, and Instagram: instagram.com/dunbarcomcentre.
