OUR STORY Prior to 2016, internal conversations in relation to how we as a company could provide additional support and networking to our minority employees, in particular, our women began. From those discussions led to the creation of our first Employee Resource Group, Moment Connection. As the unprecedented national events centered around race occurred in 2020, we began to have listening sessions across each of our regions to discuss the impact of those events on our employees. As a result of these listening sessions and in alignment with our Best People, Right Culture Key Strategic Initiative, BUiLD – Blacks United in Learning and Development (originally National Black Employee Resource Group) was created in 2020 in and effort to provide a platform for our black employees and allies to support one another. Our aim as an ERG is to create and curate spaces to have authentic and intentional conversations, experiences, and outreach opportunities. The goal is to provide a better space for us to work and live together, while honoring the diversity of our culture and experiences.
