DOWNLOAD SCHOOP! Schoop is about communication – keeping you in the loop. It is an App that can be used on Apple or Android smart phones. You can also sign up via email. IT’S FREE! The App will keep you informed and up to date with courses, classes and activities relevant to you. You can choose how much or how little information to receive via push notification on signing up. You will also be able to choose which language to receive information. You can choose to receive information on the following categories Children and Family Activities Community Events Courses & Training Get that Job Health & Wellbeing Volunteering and Time Credits
If you have signed up for courses or classes with us you will also receive reminders or course information such as cancellations as and when required. We will also use Schoop to get any feedback and evaluations from our activities. You can change your preferences at any time. All info is stored on cloud technology so doesn’t take up much memory on your device.

ECLP Pop up Youth Clubs o Support the running of pop up youth clubs which happen monthly and throughout the half terms Newport Wetlands Learning Day o TA or TA learner needed to support the trip going to Newport Wetlands on February 2nd from a local high school Construction Skills o Support a project teaching local high school students basic construction skills and essential skills for living independently Rumney Seedlings o The garden at Rumney Hub is being transformed into a community allotment. They meet on a Wednesday afternoon, all ages welcome including children Work club o Helping adults to search for jobs online and update their CV’s. They run all across ECLP areas Monday – Thursday

Health Champions o Support development officers to deliver health messages in GP surgeries. Training will be provided o Support the delivery of a healthy cooking class on Friday afternoons, experience preferred / already attended a nutrition or food hygiene course Leaflet delivery o Help us get our leaflets out in key areas. You can do as little or as much as you like Litter Picking o Regular groups meet to target key areas, normally focusing on parks and community spaces. We work with Keep Wales Tidy and they provide all the equipment

They meet on a Friday afternoon There are lots of other community groups who would welcome volunteers and we try our best to match volunteers with the right opportunity.
