P19 Club 7 - Experimental Sciences Club

In the Experimental Science Club, our students had the opportunity to explore, experiment, research, create, engage in science and gain knowledge about different sciences. The activities of this club correspond to the goals set in our project, namely to motivate students to learn science and develop their ecocognitive skills by carrying out attractive activities of a formative nature during their free time.

Science Garden

Finding, collecting, describing aromatic plants and herbs. Creation of a herbarium.

Our youngest students - from first grade were looking for, collecting and describing different aromatic herbs and plants. They then searched for information about them and described their characteristics. Finally, they made herbariums and presented them to their classmates.

We can be proud of our first graders, because they did a lot of serious research work, in which their families and friends got involved. They worked hard, learned a lot, and the result of their work was impressive.

Research and study of the culinary and therapeutic properties of herbs and plants.

The 6th grade students, under the guidance of Mrs. Mariela Vladimirova, biology teacher, made presentations of typical plants and herbs from Bulgaria. They also created beautiful herbariums, describing the medicinal properties of plants, which they presented to our school and showed during the mobilities, with topics related to the science and collecting clubs.

Experimental Mathematics

The 6th grade students under the guidance of their teacher Mr. Yulian Kovachev put on a real show by presenting their developments and research on mathematical problems, proving theories through visual and practical presentations and together having a lot of fun, showing their knowledge of mathematics and behaving like real mathematicians.

The children presented their research and projects related to experimental mathematics. They independently created mathematical models that showed us and proved how various mathematical laws and rules work. They had prepared thoroughly for the math problems that they showed in their presentations and models. So, they clearly proved the theories of various great mathematicians and demonstrated very serious knowledge in the science of mathematics

For all who watched this mathematical show, it was a real pleasure and pride to see how young mathematicians create, as well as to learn about the theories of great scientists.

An Experimental Show.

For this activity, we invited a scientist, an expert in physics - Mr. Gosho Goev, a physics teacher at the Mathematics and Physics Faculties at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", to conduct experiments related to water, forces and movement together with the first grade students.

The first experiment that the students observed was related to water, and then the experiments were related to different types of forces.

The pupils saw experiments related to forces of attraction, resistance, friction, etc.

The first grade students were very active and enthusiastically participated in all the experiments. Each student did an experiment under Mr. Goev's guidance and learned a lot about the physical forces that surround us.

The show continued with experiments on movement and forces of attraction and repulsion. They were really impressive.

Our experimental show went off with great enthusiasm, it was very interesting, and of course the students had a lot of fun.

The pupils thanked Mr. Gosho Goev from the bottom of their hearts! It turned out to be a real experimental show, in which the children learned a lot about physical phenomena in nature, what physical phenomena represent, and above all how important it is to know them.
