THE SPIAGGIA DEGLI ULIVI MAKES ITS RETURN

Grazie al rilancio di Riva del Garda Fierecongressi la location ritorna ad essere lo scenari di grandi eventi e di fermento culturale.

Una delle più suggestive location di Riva del Garda è la Spiaggia degli Ulivi: nel centro della città, proprio sul lungo lago, è un complesso architettonico di grande fascino progettato dall’architetto Claudio Maroni e inaugurato alla presenza di Gabriele D’annunzio nel 1934, che comprende un edificio centrale a pianta circolare con terrazza colonnata, due ali ricurve che abbracciano in modo suggestivo uno specchio d’acqua. Dopo anni di un valzer di gestioni, Riva del Garda Fierecongressi oggi ha riacceso le luci della Spiaggia degli Ulivi e dato il via al rilancio di uno dei compendi più belli del lago di Garda. L’obiettivo è quello di riportarlo al suo splendore e adibire i suoi spazi ad un’offerta complementare a quella del Centro Congressi e del Quartiere Fieristico, sfruttando la sua capacità di accogliere 150 persone negli spazi interni e 600 in quelli esterni. Così la Spiaggia degli Ulivi, grazie alla sua versatilità, torna ad essere il punto di appoggio per gli eventi organizzati al centro Congressi, nonché la sede esclusiva di eventi di prestigio. Durante Expo Riva Schuh potrà inoltre ospitare incontri, incontri con partner commerciali e presentazioni di collezioni di calzature in una cornice di assoluta suggestione. “La nostra offerta si amplia con un nuovo spazio vicino al Centro Congressi intriso di storia e dotato di particolare appeal - ha commentato il Presidente di Riva del Garda Fierecongressi Roberto Pellegrini –. Una sfida che cogliamo con entusiasmo, per un investimento in linea con gli obiettivi strategici della Società orientati all’individuazione di nuovi spazi in cui sviluppare un’offerta complementare a quella di Centro Congressi e Quartiere Fieristico”. Assieme alla Rocca, la centrale idroelettrica di Ponale (anche questa progettata da Claudio Maroni), la Spiaggia degli Ulivi grazie all’intervento di Riva del Garda Fierecongressi torna quindi a riappropriarsi del suo prezioso ruolo di polo sociale, turistico e culturale di Riva del Garda.

One of the most picturesque places in Riva del Garda is the Spiaggia degli Ulivi: located in the city centre, right off the shores of the lake, it is an architectural complex of great appeal designed by architect Claudio Maroni and inaugurated together with Gabriele D’annunzio in 1934. Its central circular structure features a columned terrace with two curved wings that embrace a small pond in an extremely suggestive way. After years of being managed by various organisations, today, Riva del Garda Fierecongressi has turned the lights of Spiaggia degli Ulivi back on and relaunched one of the most beautiful complexes of Garda Lake. The aim is to bring its back to its full splendour and adapt its spaces to an offering that is complementary to that of the Conference Centre and Trade Fair District, making the most of its capacity to host 150 people indoors and 600 outdoors. Thus, the Spiaggia degli Ulivi, thanks to its versatility, will return as a meeting place for the events organised at the Conference Centre, as well as the exclusive venue for prestigious events, and the ideal location for eventual weddings.
