Finally! After 6 months of balloting and then polling all of you at our website, to which votes were found by my sharing the ballot requests then polls at Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, we finally have the results of the first ever EdmondActive Community Favorites! While we have businesses that advertise, that wasn’t a factor in determining the winners for this set of favorites. When I moved here, the internet was not that great locally as far as what information you could find about shopping, dining, entertainment and lodging. Real information, not just tourist information. Over the last 20 years, every publication had, and some still currently have, a pay to play favorites list, but again, this community favorite list was born in my effort to try to offer a true reference list, that is helpful and that comes from other Edmond area residents (voters came from Edmond, the Village, Nichols Hills, OKC, Moore, Norman and Guthrie). Without further ado, congratulations to our winners and to the top businesses here in Edmond, according to EdmondActive readers!
