Amazing high school spirit and rich academics

Pep rallies, Friday night football, homecoming and prom. As an exchange student in the United States you’ll get to experience that amazing high school spirit American teenagers enjoy. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to join an art or dance club, play your favourite sport or try something completely new.

You’ll also find a great variety of subjects to match your academic goals. Besides mandatory subjects such as Math and English, you’ll be able to sign up for classes not commonly offered at home, such as American history, social justice or public speaking.

SELECT HIGH SCHOOL

On the Select High School program, you get to tell us the exact location and high school you want to go to as well as the subjects and activities you’d like to participate in during your exchange.

ACADEMIC EXCHANGE

With our Academic Exchange program, you get to pick one favourite thing: whether that’s playing your favourite sport, engaging in a particular subject or living in a place with warm weather or four seasons. As a student in this program, you’ll be placed at a school with more than 150 students.

CLASSIC HIGH SCHOOL

Our most requested program, the Classic High School program, matches you with a great host family in an American community where you’ll go to high school. You’ll be immersed in the traditions, culture and routines of your host family and community while experiencing life as an American teenager.
