• Get introduced to your host country and meet other exchange students • Soft Landing Camp are available for some of our exchange programs. They are an optional extra which comes at an additional cost (apart from the Nethelands)

Get to know other exchange students

In these popular camps, you and your fellow exchange students from different parts of the world will get introduced to your host country and to each other. You’ll learn more about the local culture as well as the situations you’re likely to encounter as a new exchange student and you’ll go sightseeing with our staff – all members of our One Team Across the Globe.

By the end of the Soft Landing Camp, you’ll be ready to meet your host family and start your exchange. Many students also keep in touch with their friends from Soft Landing Camp during the rest of their exchange.

If you do not choose to attend a Soft Landing Camp or there isn’t one available for your program, you will still attend a free post-arrival orientation with their local support person, so either way you will be fully prepared for your exchange
