Live like an american teenager on our traditional high school exchange

Classic High School is the traditional high school exchange experience. You’ll live with a host family in one of the continental American states, go to a high school near your new home and experience life as an American teenager. In addition to studying interesting new subjects, you’ll get to participate in extracurricular clubs and activities.

As a Classic High School student, you can study abroad for a full academic year or for one semester starting in January or August. Most of our students enrol as third-year juniors or fourth-year seniors, but you can join any of the four years of high school. Our high school experts can guide you to the option that’s best for you.

Tell us if there’s a particular state or area you’d prefer to go, and we’ll do our best to get you there. Area requests are approved on a first-come, first-served basis so apply as soon as possible.

Prefer to live in a city? Let us know If you want to live in or near a city with at least 50,000 residents, submit a City Request with your application. (City and Area Requests come at an additional cost, please refer to our website).
