Free Food Pantry

Several lobby groups have convinced the provincial government to look at building a dam just south of Golden on the Columbia River wetlands. The shape of the valley would allow for a huge water reservoir that can be accessed to sell water to the United States. Of course several hundred homes will have to be relocated. At the same time, the hydroelectric dam would provide power that could also be sold to the south and the lake would be-
