August 19-25, 2021 Volume 19 Issue 34 Amazing Interactions This has been a fantastic week for me as several strangers have come out of nowhere to tell me they support most of my opinions. Another gentleman mentioned he does not always agree but still reads every week to see what thoughts I am trying to provoke. No one has to agree with me or believe what I write but I do hope that it makes you think about a few things. I will note here that the racks seem to be emptying very quickly of The Valley Peak so even if you do not agree with my opinions, it is still a very effective venue for advertising.

Victory Celebrations You know how in some sports they throw the ball into the crowd after a victory? Apparently that does not work when you are bowling.

Locals Live Music Pothole Park was very busy last week for the free locals live music performance. It was great to see so many people enjoying the music. This week, Thursday, August 19, brings ‘Smarty Pants’, a very talented, very enter-

Check out Pothole Park on Monday evenings (at dark) for the free ‘Movies in the Mountains’ hosted by the District of Invermere. This coming Monday, August 23, ‘Raya, the Last Dragon’ will be playing. It is a great experience watching an outdoor movie on the huge inflatable screen. There will be a concession with snacks available. Again, bring chairs, blankets and probably some bug juice.

Used Jigsaw Puzzles My addiction to jigsaw puzzles has become tough to shake off. They just help settle my brain. If anyone out there has some used jigsaw puzzles they are willing to give away please let me know. I will be happy to take them off your hands.
