That’s all I have. One more issue before Christmas. Next week’s issue of The Valley Peak will be the last one of 2015. I am taking 2 weeks off so the next issue will be in the first week of January, 2016. Around January 7. It will be nice to slack off a bit. I will still be around dong work but not under a deadline. I hope you all enjoy the holiday season as well.
What was wrong with the book of magic incantations? The author neglected to do a spell check.
CP Holiday Train The CP Holiday Train will be in Radium on Tuesday, December 15. The train arrives at 6 pm but the celebrations begin at 5 pm with live entertainment on the Home Hardware stage, Christmas carols, fire pits, hot chocolate, coffee and homemade cookies. Jim Cuddy, Devin Cuddy and Kelly Prescott will perform on the railcar stage before the train carries on through the evening. This is a Food Bank benefit so please help ‘Cram the Cruiser’ with donations of nonperishable food items (or cash). This is just an awkward space to fill. Enjoy this issue.

Live at The Station The Station Neighbourhood Pub will be rocking this Friday, December 11 as they welcome Jeremy Borschneck live. Jeremy has performed here many times as ‘Willhorse’ developing quite the fan base. Come on out Friday and you will see why. He is a great musician that consistently keeps the crowd happy.
Rockies Hockey The Columbia Valley Rockies defeated the Nelson Leafs 5-2 in Nelson on Saturday. They only have 9 home games remaining this season and only 2 are this year! Get out and support them. The Rockies host the Grand Forks Border Bruins this Saturday, December 12 at 7:30 pm. It is a pretty even match-up but the Rockies are hot lately. It will be a great game and a perfect chance to do something with family and friends. I hope to see you there.
