Exercise Woes The main problem with starting to jog is that by the time you realize how out of shape you are, you have to find a way to get back home.
Rockies Playoff Hockey The Rockies pulled it off last weekend, finishing in third place in the division. This puts them against the Creston Valley Thunder Cats, the second-place team.

These two teams met 8 times this season, winning 4 games each. I anticipate a hardfought, close battle. Games 1 and 2 are in Creston, Tuesday and Wednesday, February 23 and 24. Games 5 and 7 (if necessary) will be in Creston on February 29 and March 2. That brings games 3 and 4 to Invermere this Friday and Saturday, February 26 and 27, both games at 7:30 pm. Game 6 would be here on Tuesday, March 1. Come on out and cheer these guys on! They have played an incredible season with a strong finish and always have exciting games with Creston. Your voice cheering them on can make all the difference.

B.C. Games The Invermere juvenile girl’s curling team is off to Penticton this weekend for the B.C. Winter Games. They will be representing the Kootenay zone. Abby, Alexa, Lily, Kaitlyn and Anna will be leaving Wednesday to compete with 8 girls’ teams beginning on Friday. The girls have been working hard at practice for this event. Good luck ladies! Have lots of fun.
