Who won the 2018 Briar curing tournament qualifying them as the Canadian men’s champions? (Answer on page 7)

March 15-21, 2018 No Paper With all of my stuff going on, it is pretty overwhelming trying to keep The Valley Peak in print every week. It is especially tough doing it from a distance and having to rely on various methods of gathering information. Thanks to all the folks who have been helping. Anyway I will be taking a couple weeks off including the March 29 issue and the April 19 issue. If you have information regarding Easter weekend you will want to get it to me this week as that is one of the issues. All advertising contracts will be extended by 2 weeks. Thanks for supporting The Valley Peak.

Competitive My friend and I often laugh about how competitive we are. But I laugh more.

Skins to Pins Fundraiser With the weather being a bit winterlike still, the ‘Rink to Link’ curling and golf fundraiser will not be able to hit the golf course as there is still a bit of snow around. They have made an adjustment and hooked up with the bowling alley. It is now the ‘Skins to Pins’ tournament, combining curling with bowling.

It is still considered the ‘Robspiel’ as it is a fundraiser for myself to help cover expenses associated with my current cancer journey. Including getting back to the valley on a full time basis. Thanks to everyone who has been supporting me.
