Friday Night Bingo
This Sunday, May 30. The Lake Windermere Alliance Church is holding an outdoor worship service in their parking lot at 10:30 am. Everyone is welcome but they would like you to register. Please bring your own chairs, blankets, etc.
The Golden Rotary Club has run the online bingo for a year now and they are ready for some time off. The Castlegar Rotary Club is taking over the reins. I am not sure if the starting time has changed by an hour but you can figure that out. There are a lot of folks enjoying this bingo including a couple of my friends. That is great.
Hospice Raffle The Hospice Society of the Columbia Valley is holding an amazing raffle this spring and summer. ‘Swim the Lake” has some of the best prizes I have seen in a long time. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20. Get more information from their ad on page 2.
Mountain Ranges My friend thinks it is quite funny that we have lots of mountain ranges. I keep telling him that they are really just hill areas.
Steamboat Artist Needed Check out the page 2 ad describing the artist contest to design a cd album cover for their upcoming release, ‘Shake a Tree’. Submissions must be in to the Steamboat Mountain Music Society by June 20 for a chance to win $250. Find out more on the page 2 ad.
