Since 1945, Elan has been proudly handcrafting skis in the Slovenian Alps with the goal of building world class products that improve the skiing experience for every skier. Over nearly eight decades, technology and equipment have evolved, but who we build skis for and why we build them hasn’t; for families and friends, from beginners to experts, you can trust that Elan skis are built with the motto, “Always Good Times” on the top of our minds. This isn’t just a catchy slogan, it represents what we stand for and how we conduct ourselves, day in and day out. We believe that skiing is a sport that is best enjoyed with friends, and buying skis shouldn’t be any different.
Located in the same place for nearly 80 years, Elan’s factory is the birthplace of the best innovations in skiing history, including the first screen printed graphics, cap construction, and modern sidecut. All of these practices are now industry standards. We like to think that every ski produced today, has a little bit of Elan heritage in it.

SOLAR POWER PLANT
Taken online in 2022, Elan’s solar power plant provides 30% of our energy needs.
Sustainability is a value that is deeply rooted in Elan’s DNA. The electricity used at our factory comes 100% from renewable sources, including 30% of needs supplied by 7000 solar panels to power our own solar plant.
