INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL RETURNS IN APRIL The 8th Annual International Festival at the Brunswick Campus of the College of Coastal Georgia will be held on Friday, April 5, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Once again, the Robert S. Abbott Race Unity Institute partners with College of Coastal Georgia to host this celebration highlighting the various cultures that are represented in the Golden Isles. There will be fun and educational events to appeal to all ages, including a Global Food Bazaar, a Marketplace with an array of artisan wares, a multicultural lineup of musical groups,

a Culture EXPO, a KidFest, informational displays by community organizations, and more. Admission is free and open to the public. It’s a rain-or-shine event.

JEWISH FESTIVAL TURNS FIVE Join Historic Temple Beth Tefilloh to celebrate their 5th annual Jewish Food and Culture festival Sunday, March 24, from noon to 3:30 p.m. in the Jekyll Squares off Newcastle Street in historic downtown Brunswick. The entire community is invited to learn more about the Jewish culture by experiencing the music, ceremonies, and especially the delicious traditional food. Admission to the festival is free. Temple members will be selling a variety of food, including challah, kugels, rugelach, hamentashen, and more. There will be temple tours offered, activities for children, a Jewish wedding ceremony, Israeli dancing, and a raffle. Proceeds will go to the 125+ year old temple’s restoration and building fund. A WHALE OF A GOOD TIME The 5th annual Wesley Academy of Early Learning (WAEL) Color Run and Spring Festival will be held on Saturday, March 23rd at Wesley United Methodist Church. Proceeds from the event will be used for phase 2 of the preschool’s playground renovations. The 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:00 a.m. and is followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at 9:10 a.m. Registration for the 5K Color Run is $25 and $15 for the 1 Mile Family Fun Color Walk. Pre-registration includes T-shirt and swag bag. Medals will be given out to the top 3 male and female runners for each age group. The festival will include bounce houses, photo opportunities with surprise characters, 60
