Virtual Ubiquity

l met Lisa in october 2002. She became one of the 13 portraits belonging to Journey Tales: Fire, installed in several Morelia venues and later in Rechberghausen, Germany, on the 2004 Summer. Lisa’s portrait somehow becameEl retrato de Lisa significó a whole conceptual and spiritual journey on itself, so l decided to turn it into another project after the german artshow. Lisa would show the ubiquity l sensed, her eyes would be mine as well as those of the spectator. The memory of those places and moments, along with the human contacts they allowed, would become an artwork that was an intervention action as well as a photographic series She could be in every place at the same time, as l somehow was.
