God, my Creator, You are worthy to be praised. With my grateful heart, I don’t know how to thank You. I am overwhelmed of Your works in my life. - She’s the police in our group (laging late). Sikat nga ‘yang pangalan niya sa school at kilalang kilala ng mga guard dahil every time na dumadating siya tapos na yung flag ceremony.
Once in the blue moon lang siya maging on time tapos siya pa pasimuno ng ingay at tawanan. Lagi ding na aadjust oras ng gala namin dahil lagi siyang late dumadating, magpapasundo at magpapahatid pa. But what’s unique to her is she have always time for us. Though malayo siya she always reach out and we know na if ever na we need her she is always there for us. a sister, she is adorable. She is a woman who has a kind heart, a woman that has a strong personality and spirit a woman that stand before me, a woman have a lot of mean. Sometimes, she makes herself silly just to make us happy. It’s kinda weird. Most people called her “nganga”, “Wilma”, “Vice” because of her craziness and talkativeness. In that way, she brings happiness to others that’s why they love her. Words are not enough to express how thankful I am for being your sister. You are always at my side. There are lots of sacrifices that you have rendered for me.
As your sister, I admire you because of your fighting spirit. When there is a burden, I feel the flame inside your heart and it motivates me to fight instead of relinquishing. Having a sister like you is one of a kind, I could not ask for more. You are my sister and you will always be. Always remember na kahit sinasaktan kita lahat ng ‘yon ay may halong pagmamahal. a mother’s love I
got married when I was 18 years old. I never thought that I was too young to settle down into a married life. After a month of getting married, I found out that I was pregnant! it was 27th of February, 5:45am, I gave birth to my first daughter and it was a great blessing from God. So there is Shekinah Allysa.
As a mother, I was very happy seeing Kinah as she grows up. It wasn’t easy to raise a child, but it was exciting and encouraging every step of the day. CHILDHOOD DAYS When she was a little one, she is fond of staring at herself in front of the mirror. She loves brushing her hair and put some hair clips and headbands. Bata pa talaga siya, mahilig nang magayos ng sarili niya. Very skinny siya kasi pinaglihi ko siya sa “one-day old” Haha! She’s very happy kapag binibilhan ko siya ng mga kikay dress noong 3 years old and above siya. But there is this one thing na talagang napapagalit niya ako, kasi ayaw niyang

kumain noon ng mga gulay kahit na ginugunting ko nan g maliliit. Umiiyak siya at ayaw ibuka ang bunganga niya. Time has come for her to enter kindergarten school. Back then, hinahatid at sinusundo ko siya gamit ang bike. Hahaha! She was a lovely little girl to me. She laughs at simple things, like me. FLIGHT MODE: ON To cut the story short, she grew up together with her sister. I decided to apply abroad because her father just left us. My application was granted to work abroad as a helper. It was the hardest decision for a mother to leave the kids at their very young age. It almost killed me but I have to do so. It was
a huge responsibility to be a mother and at the same to be a father too. But I never regret having Kinah and her sister in my life. I never thought that it will bring us into a broken family but unfortunately, it just happened. FAITH IN ACTION From then, I keep trusting the Lord in my heart and never stop praying every time. I thank God for giving me courage to face every battle, strength to rise again, and faith that keeps our eyes on Him. I looked back before and now, it really amazed me how God moves in His mighty works. Who could ever know my first born baby girl is already a young lady?
Mama’s Letter To my gorgeous Kinah, As you grow into adulthood, my heart is filled with joy because I know that you’ll follow God’s word the He already planted in your heart. I am very sorry for not being with you physically as you celebrate your 18th Birthday, but pretty sure that my heart will always be connected to you. Nak, I am sorry for the time that I put you into boundaries, for the things that cause us pain. We open hurt each other for some reasons, we are all saying nobody’s perfect and I count myself in that category of life. Motherhood is not an easy job, and as I always say, ‘someday you will become a mother too,’ but I’m praying not so soon. Haha! I know there are days that you hate me, but I will always love you. I may not be able to able to carry you in my arms anymore, but I will always carry you in my heart. Sorry for not being a perfect Mama, but I’m praying you’ll stay with me ‘till I get older, ‘till I can no longer pull my blanket to cover me, ‘till I can no longer hold my spoon to feed me, ‘till my eyes will no longer see the bright things that are important to me. Life will never be easy but it is too short to wake up with regrets. So remember that genuine success comes from true fulfillment and happiness that God may bring you. It is however, without doubt, I know you have the strength to persevere and the confidence to take you through this journey. As I always say, ‘Aim high but stay humble.’ Thank you for being my daughter and a bestfriend to me. Happy 18th Birthday my gorgeous, mama loves you the most!

Grade 5 pa lang ako at transferee sa school nila noon. Napakafriendly niya sa akin. Siguro kasi malapit ang pangalan namin sa isa’t isa. Naalala ko pa, siya ang tanging classmate ko noon na nagregalo sakin. Kasali pa yun sa mga package ng mama niya, sabi niya sa akin. Then, we went to high school. Di man kami magkaklase lagi, masaya siyang kasama, tawa nang tawa. Siya ang dakilang rampadora sa barkada. Talented rin siya. What I like the most about her is that, she is my spiritual partner. For almost five years of knowing Shekinah, I used to call her anak. I can describe her as simple as: She has a lot of friends. She has artistic skills. She is a good leader and a model. I have seen it when she was my Class President. She can lead her classmates without my presence. Kaya nga lang palagi siyang late. HAHAHA! She has the beauty and brain. She proved it when she won the school sports fest and other school activities. She is acting just a little crazy. I remember noong Christmas Party namin sa PEARL Class bigla na lang siyang sinumpong kasi may kinainisan siyang classmate niya. She is gleeful. She always wear a smile. She has a viracious appetite. Ang hira niyang busugin. Haha. But she was ale to maintain a good figure as we can see, right? She is a loving and a sweet ate. She cares so much for her sister. beautyof Obedience
When I was a kid, whenever we go to the grocery store, I put things in the cart when my mom is not watching. I scream when mom would not purchase something I want. But just like little kids, we want what we want. At times, what God asks is contrary to what we have in mind, when God asks you to do something, there is a good reason behind it. Even so, He will patiently allow you to go on your own way, play with thing you should not and even act as though He is not there. You will never fully mature until you learn the beauty and benefit of doing things in His way.
