Brandon Maxwell grew up in Texas shadowing his grandmother in her boutique. At age 23 he moved to New York City and achieved the role as Lady Gaga’s fashion director. In 2015 Maxwell started his first ready to wear line and has styled for many fashion magazines since Brandon Maxell incorporated his Texas roots into his Spring 2019 line. Using shades of red, denim and various accessories, Brandon Maxell succeeded in making a vibrant but classy western inspired line. Before Burberry, Christopher Bailey served the role as senior designer at Donna Karan and Gucci. In 2001, you took on the role at Burberry. Since then Bailey has earn many rewards. Some include Designer of the Year at the British fashion wards in 2005, and 2007. Bailey described his spring2019 line “Kingdom” as “a patchwork or a mix of the British lifestyle”. Burberry's mature line is filled with tones of beige, animal print, and graphics. All while still using the tradition Burberry print and trench coats. Before being names sole creative director of Valentino in 2016, Pierpaolo Piccioli shared the role with longtime creative partner, Maria Grazia Chiuri since 2008. Since taking on this solo role, Piccioli has been very successful as seen with his Fall/Winter 2018 line Valentino Spring 2019 is yet another line from this season seen with vibrant colors and unique patterns. Piccoli showed his wild perspective through this line with lace, sequins, silk, and feathered trim. Virgil Abloh is known for his brand Off-White and DJ career. He founded Off-White in 2013, since then it has become a huge trend among celebrities and young customers and works closely with Nike. In 2018, Virgil was named the artistic director of Louis Vuitton Off- White’s spring 2019 line is centered around track and field. Abloh takes inspiration from sports wear and combines that ready to wear. Using neon and subtle colors, tulle, and jersey knits, Abloh has created a creative and original clothing line.
